Description:
If you or a friend has a Jailbroken PlayStation Vita, a Sony Memory Card, and Wifi Internet, you can use that hacked Vita to mod another Vita!
This mod relies heavily on the Internet.
Another video coming on a hack card that doesn't need the Internet.
This video didn't show how to preserve save files - although you can. Another video soon showing start to finish how to Jailbreak a Vita using another Vita and preserving game data and PSN.

This download is really just the uploaded files from a memory card that hacked a vita using H-Encore2, VitaDeploy and VitaShell. You can easily recreate these files or add more apps to the rescue memory card. If you have a memory card with H-Encore2 and VitaDeploy, all you have to do is delete id.dat from the card and it will work on any updated vita - you don't need the zip.
This video requires:
A Jailbroken Vita using SD2VITA or PSVSD.
A Sony Vita Memory Card - Any Size.
Internet with WiFi and the password available.
A Vita or PSTV that hasn't been Jailbroken.
An SD2VITA and MicroSD for the new Vita.

this is also good alternative in fixing a vita which been formatted while update blocker is active. guds for 3.65 to 3.74, and no need to have a psn account on the unmodded vita.
Great guide, it was the one that worked with my PSTV, it did not want to connect to my PCs to transfer the need files. My Oled Vita worked with the wifi methods highlight around YT.

3.65 doesn't need to downgrade even. Both can use H-Encore2 wihout changing firmware.
Any vita between 3.65 and 3.73 doesn't need an update to use these tools.
3.60 and 3.65 can both be permanent (Enso). So I recommend moving to 3.60 on OLED and 3.65 on Slim.

The other "jailbreak using only a Vita" does it without AutoPluginII. You can get the Homebrew Browser store from the downloadable apps in VitaDeploy. Then from the homebrew store you can download EasyPlugin and use it to install the plugins (like download enabler) instead of AutoPluginII... In a few weeks (after a few hardware mod videos) I'll be releasing an offline Jailbreak memory card that has a lot more options. It has AutoPluginII. You can then add AutoPluginII to either the new offline Jailbreak memory card or this tiny online one from this video. AutoPluginII will be downloadable the same way as this hackcard zip.

Hey so I had to restore my vita
But I didn't format the memory card yet..
Any chance I can just mod the vita and use the older memory card and get all the apps and stuff back
@@AbdulAleem-uw8mu Yes! You can use that card with any hacked Vita. Make sure the Vita is off (not asleep) when you remove or insert a card.
One thing: If you put it in another Vita the Vita will say that the card belongs to another user and it has to be formatted. Then ask if you want to format it, say no. Then go into Settings>Hekate Settings> and press the Use card with any Vita button. Then restart and you can will use that card.
You could also delete the id.dat on the root of the card ahead of time to avoid the "format this card" risky question.

been modding vitas like this for years its definately the easiest and fastest... no need for FinalHE except for the initial memory card setup

A few things it could be:
Vita needs a restart after plugin install.
Don't do https, just http (only put bit.ly/vita374hc not bit.ly/vita374hc )

This jailbreak video is different from what you are asking but...
Yes! Connect the computer and the Vita to the same router (same wifi). Then do the same instructions as wired. The Windows program FinalHE will work over wifi.
I use this UA-camr to hack Vita using a computer. ua-cam.com/video/l9HWm4561hU/v-deo.html Wifi and USB cable instructions are the same. Just instead of a USB cable both the computer and the Vita need to be connected to the same router (wifi).

You need to install QCMA on the computer first. It has a driver for your computer. Then I would restart so the driver can start with the computer.

Sorry, it's been a while since I've done this. QCMA is required for USB and WiFi Vita hacking. It starts in your tray (near the computer clock) and has some settings.

Bummer! When running HEncore2, try the reset taiHEN option (last) then Henkaku.

While Vita is on, go to Settings, devices, storage Devices and add checkmark to "use YAMT". Set uma0 to sd2vita.
Try turning off, take the SD2Vita out, put it back in, and turn on.
Go back to settings, devices, storage Devices. Choose developer options and select "TexFAT format GC-SD's storage" using your buttons.
Restart the Vita.
Then in VitaShell, do you see uma0 as the size of your MicroSD?
If this doesn't work, what kind of card is it? Do you have a computer that I can advise you further on?

@@anderxale1 when im trying to mount the "uma0" it says " Please attach an USB flash drive to continue. If it has already been attached, please detach and reattach it.
@@edwardbutler3688 yep, can't mount from VitaShell. You have to mount using YAMT - that is in Settings, Devices, Storage Devices
After selecting uma0 SD2Vita you have to restart before it's mounted
