Cover was so good that I didn't notice the error at 3:28 where Anna sings "Tell me I am good enough" whilst the lyrics still say "The devil's after both of us" after like the 50th rewatch.
from someone who had the original song on loop for like 3 months, those are the right words and the captions were off (which is fair since every other time in the song it says “the devil’ after both of us,” this is the one time it’s not) (/lh)
Curses is one of my many favourites and actually it's the subtitles that are wrong as that part is indeed 'Tell me I am good enough' in the original

Is the artwork in reference to Pearl from Double Life- I dont see anybody talking about this but this design is literally the same down to the brown hair, eye scar, red coat, sword and wolves. This song has a very special place in my heart. I first heard it back when I was in college. One evening, I shared it with my friends and it became our favorite. By the end of the week, we were singing this in the car at the top of our lungs on our way to get food at Primanti's. Now whenever I hear this song, I think back to those nights with my friends.
Aw!! Curses was my first Crane Wives song. I heard it in a yt generated playlist while searching for songs for a beloved npc in a dnd campaign in fall 2020. Though I am in love with almost all of their discography now, Curses has remained my favorite since I first began connecting with who is now my partner by showing it to them. It is our song and it also holds a special place in my heart.

I have been in The Crane Wives' top Spotify listener percent the last two years and there is always a song for a playlist I create. My favorite is Hollow Moon, I could listen to that one on repeat for hours! My circles know my obsession with them and recently I got linked your cover and the pure and utter delight I have that someone could share this group is beyond anything I can express. I only recently heard this song for the first time and it's been one of my favorites since, and now one of my favorite singers is covering it!!!!
Normally, these are amazing. But this time, I never heard of the crane wives, or this song, but I absolutely loved the artwork and singing. I have to check out the crane wives after this. This one was even better than normal.
Please go check them out they are so good!! Some recommendations I have are Tounges and Teeth, The Moon Will Sing, Never Love An Anchor, Hollow Moon, Here I Am, Metaphor, Safe Ship Harbored, Take Me to War, honestly any of their singles, and to listen to all of Fool In Her Wedding Gown in order. Ok that's more than a few, but honestly their whole discography is incredible and they deserve all the new fans rolling in!
