1:33 You mean 3x2 aspect ratio (not 3x4). Open gate on MFT is even more square at 4:3 -- making it better for social media content and anamorphic. 2:12 Odd that 1.6 desqueeze isn't an option since that is likely the one most people would use to get 2.4:1 final output in cinema ultra-wide screen. But yes, you're right, Lumix cameras are waaaay underrated.
Great video, I'm in Panasonic Turkey team, it's very tiring to explain Lumix to people, these useful videos are very helpful for business professionals like you. Thank you. The bokeh in this promo video is very artistic, I like this spiral structure, what lenses did you use?
- Panasonic cameras excel in the mirrorless hybrid photo and video market, offering excellent value and unique features. - Key features include open gate recording, enabling flexibility in post-production for various aspect ratios. - They provide full anamorphic support with a range of desqueeze options for better visual output. - The in-body image stabilization (IBIS) works effectively with anamorphic lenses, enhancing filming smoothness. - Advanced exposure tools, such as shutter angle and waveform, assist filmmakers, though false color support is desired for the future.
Great video. Too bad Panasonic doesn’t have a cinema line anymore so it lacks an ecosystem to grow into as your skills evolve. Also skip the request for false colour and go straight to el zone it’s far better. Come on Panny be the first to do it.
I don’t like the battery performance on my S5ii and S5iix. Also they have almost always a color shift (green magenta or wb) even when I put them on 5600k when using a 5600k daylight cob light. Also Moire has been a problem. I haven’t tried to record in all-intra in the S5iix. The apsc crop in 4k50fps is also a problem, eg when shooting indoor real estate on a wide angle lens and you can’t get that real 16mm look
Hm I can’t confirm the colour shift between them. Are you using colour matched cine lenses? Most people underestimate the influence of a lens in terms of a colour cast. For example my sigma art lenses all render the image differently in terms of colour and micro contrast. I don’t have those issues with my Vespid primes. In terms of moire the S1H would be the best since it has an Olpf which the s5ii does not. True 4K 60 uncropped would be great in those cases I use the FHD 60p which looks also very detailed. I actually can’t say anything about battery life since I’m always using them with a vmount
This again shows how difficult it is to get high up in the industry with your brand. Even if you release very impressive cameras with impressive specs people will still "overlook" Panasonic cameras just because they trust Sony, Blackmagic and Canon more. Overall proofs again that overall reputation is probably more important than skills / specs in the creative industry.
Great Video! 👏🏼🎬
Thank you so much 😌

Thanks for your feedback I’m glad that you liked it.
I used the good old Helios 44 for the talking head sequence 😊
Great video. Lumix for ever!
Thank you for watching and your comment
Any news if they are coming up with internal NDs? Thanks.
That would surprise me. But no I don’t know
One of my favorite channels hands down!
Thank you so much :)
Whatever lens you are using is wild!
Absolutely. It's the helios 44 :D
There is not 1.66 anamorptic, which is in some lmount affordable (more or less) lenses
True
Man... what lens is that 2:22 ?!?!?!?! AMAZING!
Helios 44 😊
Thanks for this video. BTW which lens did you use for the talking section?😊
Thanks :) Yes the Helios 44 :)
I have LUMIX S5 M2X, i like everything in it, but HDMI signal delay is killing me.
Oh yeah that’s true
Turn off sound output over HDMI.
@@Wildridefilmswow! Bro! Just checked it. This is really worked. Delay is way much better. Thanks! Crazy!

😅 eagerly waiting for s1hmark2
Yeah hopefully this one comes soon 😀
Used lens Helios 44 mk I or II?:)
I don’t know how do I can find that out?
hi, what lenses did you use to shoot this video?
Thanks for watching :) it’s the Helios 44 😃
@@pauleporterdp
Is this some kind of modified version? Because the bokeh looks completely different than in the original Helios.
No it is not modded at all

Oh yes el zone would be amazing love that on my smallhd monitors
Lumix s5IIX records 10bit ProRes 422 HQ via external SSD without an external recorder/monitor.
Yeah true
True, very impressive and useful feature
Yes it is :)

Yes that’s true. But I think they slowly built a good reputation and more and more people are getting into the Lumix ecosystem ☺️
