surprised you didn't use the attomachine for material. Assuming you're using the same archotech mod I think you are. Also if you disable the death on down chance. The Archotech obliterator is a superior option for a nonlethal option as it deals bashing damage and it attacks just as fast as the deathclaw. I'd also recommend a brainmelder or Membrane Oh archotech spines and Pelvises help with movement too
I wanted to work up to the arcotech obliterators eventually as they are a bit OP just to use against empire just yet. I'm using arcotech expanded to get the picomachinery walls, and I just went for whatever materials a had going spare at the time. Having never installed an arcotech pelvis on any of my colonists before, I had no idea they provided a buff to movement speed. Cheers for the heads up.
For the antigrain warheads, they were launched in clusters of five pods at a time, so it didn't take that long to do. I did have to load 1000 pods individually for the 1000 pod video, which was a job that me and my wife took in shifts. Took about 4-5 hours of repeated typing ctrl V and repeating the same exact mouse movements over and over again. Totally worth it in the end.

How much time i need to spent in this game to have the same tecnologies and amount of recources?! And damn. This man is god! How to play like him? Im just new(
It would probably take a week or two IRL to get all the research done and all of the resources gathered, as Picomachinery is very resource intensive to produce. But if you're new to the game and you just want to get straight into fighting battles and doing raids then it's really easy to build up your forces in the early game by capturing everyone you meet and turning them into slaves. That's pretty much what I do in 100% of my playthroughs.
I'm pretty sure the strongest NASA computer wouldn't be able to capture even a single warhead going off on a RimCities map, let alone total atomic annihilation. Is you computer powered by quantum physics?
Everything slowed down to a CRAWL for about 5 minutes straight as the explosion was running it's course, I regret not releasing the un edited footage of that on it's own, now that I think of it.
I don't think so, as Alpha Poly walls have 150000 HP whereas Picomachinery walls have 300000 hp. But it's not like it makes much of a difference anyway, as both alpha poly and picomachinery walls are both practically impossible for a single pawn to overcome before they starve to death.

It was like if Game of Thrones met Sons of Anarchy, but in The Sims 2 - and I SO wish I had recorded it.
At the start of the video, Kromm isn't visible at the launch base, because at that point he was still with the fallen empire. Him not being visible on the colonist bar was the biggest giveaway that I was up to something in the background, lol. Nice job on catching me out.
bro's like the combine 💀
The combine were definitely an inspiration for this one lol.
your pc is a beast ,mine will bust in to flames
It's an entry level gaming rig for youtube, nothing too fancy. Plus all the hardware is new, so that probably helps. Currently we're running with:
RTX 3060Ti
32gb ram
AMD Ryzen 7
Samsung 2tb ssd
...I think I need to start adding this to the description on my videos lol.
@@deathsplosion nice and keep them videos coming, and take care ❤️
@@deathsplosion entry level 💀
surprised you didn't use the attomachine for material. Assuming you're using the same archotech mod I think you are. Also if you disable the death on down chance. The Archotech obliterator is a superior option for a nonlethal option as it deals bashing damage and it attacks just as fast as the deathclaw. I'd also recommend a brainmelder or Membrane
Oh archotech spines and Pelvises help with movement too
I wanted to work up to the arcotech obliterators eventually as they are a bit OP just to use against empire just yet. I'm using arcotech expanded to get the picomachinery walls, and I just went for whatever materials a had going spare at the time.
Having never installed an arcotech pelvis on any of my colonists before, I had no idea they provided a buff to movement speed. Cheers for the heads up.
Did you have to choose the drop location for all of those pods one by one? takes some patience :O
Amazing 👏
I will eventually get around to making the third episode in this series lol. I miss being able to play as Kromm.
Waiting for episode 2 😀
I already made a episode 2.
@@deathsplosion well shoot…I’ll be looking now.
so you basically made city-17
I like it when my noble experiments are compared to those of the combine.
@@deathsplosion You should like totally kidnap some people, brainwash them in the most immoral way possible into completely loyal soldiers & give them bionics 🤭
bro this guy's narration is like next level shit
Surprised to hear you say that! The dialogue on this one was quite rushed out.
Time to make geneva suggestion
Or, like, a lot of them.
what an amazing video
Glad you liked it mate, I should have another video out later today or tomorrow.
@@deathsplosion I really like your channel and your content. I find it hilarious and entertaining. You produce content that is of a much higher quality tier than I would expect from a newer channel. Keep it up. I foresee great things in store for you and this channel if you stick with it.
Thanks for saying so mate! We've got no intention of giving up any time soon, In fact I'll be uploading another video in a couple of hours lol. We're going to branch out to other games so that should bring in more subs.
i prefer the archotech Devastator? i think that's what it's called, regular melee cooldown but it hits like 10 times like a machinegun each cooldown.
I think It's called the Archotech Obliterator, and they are awesome. Unfortunately they would have been way too OP even for Kromm, so I went for the archotech deathclaw instead.
Although I might equip him with and obliterator if we ever come up against Void faction in this playthrough.
@@deathsplosion Yeah thats it, Obliterator!
Well i guess i'll see if he gets that OP hardware, keep up the good work man. like the videos so far!
Looks like there was only one enemy chad
Which one? That bloke with the grenades?
bro is reenacting the maze runner
I really ought to just build a really big maze out of this stuff, now that you mention mazes.
Meet the combine
The combine and their innovative approaches to suppressing large unruly populations were a key inspiration for this video.
Combine moment
Fair play, there were a few combine moments back there.
Amazing.
Glad you liked it mate!
When you rebuild the warsaw ghetto in rimwold:
Yeah, I'm definitely not doing a 'good guy' playthrough on this one lol
You really needed to have the 'Imprisonment on the Go!' mod for this run, which would have allowed you to imprison downed enemy pawns on the spot without having to take them to a prison bed/spot.
This will be useful for the next episode in the series.
28:44 How it feels to play without Yayo's Combat.
Was that supposed to be a minigun? With that spread, it wouldn't be difficult to mistake it for a lawn sprinkler.
@@deathsplosion A 17th century musket would be able to hit an ant 1km away before that minigun does any real damage.
Wait, warheads can be detonated by Drop Pods?!
You can move them around with drop pods, but you have to find your own way of detonating them.
Berlin War moment
I hadn't thought of that comparison yet, lol.
If you use archo junk you can build literally indestructible walls.
I will look this up, that sounds pretty useful.
@@deathsplosion You can also use RIMQOL and set a wall of your choosing to be indestructible as well.
big fan
Glad you enjoyed it mate!
Cool video man, what mod lets you use slaves as soldiers? Don't tell the Geneva convention...
That's not from a mod, I think slavery was included with the royalty DLC.
@@deathsplosion ah, thanks
I'm pretty sure the strongest NASA computer wouldn't be able to capture even a single warhead going off on a RimCities map, let alone total atomic annihilation. Is you computer powered by quantum physics?
Everything slowed down to a CRAWL for about 5 minutes straight as the explosion was running it's course, I regret not releasing the un edited footage of that on it's own, now that I think of it.
Wouldn't Alphapoly walls work better for that?
I don't think so, as Alpha Poly walls have 150000 HP whereas Picomachinery walls have 300000 hp. But it's not like it makes much of a difference anyway, as both alpha poly and picomachinery walls are both practically impossible for a single pawn to overcome before they starve to death.
@@deathsplosion I see!
wall gets finished at 36:36
How oddly specific! That was a long build.
Facial paralysis be like
That's exactly what I was going for with this one.
are there mods to allow us to have more than a handful of colonist? i've never been able to get more than around 7 colonist without problems starting like the game doesn't want you to do that. kind of issues.
What issues have you been getting? Is it performance issues or is it the storyteller trying to kill all of your colonists with plague?
@@deathsplosion some preference issues like corruption of save files but even peaceful story will hit you hard after so many colonists
whats the mod for those giant mortars?
Vanilla furniture expanded security! They are pretty awesome, as they can fire onto other maps.
@@deathsplosion many thanks
How did you arm the slaves and not have them revolt?
I have not entirely sure! I think they must have all died before they had the chance to start fomenting rebellion.
War crimes
I think that's what I should have called this channel.
Good god
how does your game run so smoothly? at around 100 mods my tps drops rapidly. would love to know how as wanna get back into rw
I think we've got less than 100 mods, plus my PC is brand new. A lot of people say exactly the same thing as you did, I have no idea what we're doing right lol.
@@deathsplosion maybe it is my mod list lol. also i still have yet to play 1.4 and the new dlc because i have exams. i'm really hoping that the performance improvements were decent, would love to set up a new colony at some point.
@@portalfan0438 I think the improvement in performance will be noticeable for you. Everything's just a bit smoother than it was before.
What is the mod for the field gun
Vanilla security expanded, i think.
I think you killed a lot people just thought tho-.-
Too many on the map to begin with. They were sacrificed in the name of the framerate.
Gotta pray that framerate isn’t slower then Person with two peg legs with bad back
An average day in the US.
Yeah, I can see a few similarities there lol.
my god do you reply to all comments
ALL THE COMMENTS!!!
what name of that wall mod do u use?
Archotech Expanded gives you access the the nanomachinery and picomachinery etc.
What mod are those walls from?
Archotech Expanded!
How do you just reply to everyone
Most people who comment on this channel seem to post when I'm asleep, probably because most of my viewers are from the good old USA, so when I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is reply to everyone who's commented the night before.
how do u even have frames
I don't have that many mods installed compared to most people who have like 300 lol. That could possibly have something to do with it.
@@deathsplosion OK maybe it might have to do with me running 400+ mods LMAO
where do you get so many slaves?
Fight raiders with crappy armour by using pain guns. Once they're downed, imprison and enslave.
fun video but it sounds like you're on .5 slow speed with audible pauses multiple times per sentence. Very robotic delivery.
Agreed. I tried something on this script that I won't be trying again lol.
