Solidworks: MK3 Pillowed Form/Corner
Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 лип 2022
- Hello! I found this project in my tutorial folder. I started it over a year ago and got distracted with work and thought it'd be good to complete. This is another way to model a pillowed form that has a corner and runs into a planar face. Similar to housings found on various goods. I think this technique is better than my MK1 and MK2 techniques, as it allows a much tighter corner to be used, with less chance of wrinkles or wobbly curvature in the surface that radiates out from the corner.

this is amazing and crazily useful, I've been looking for tutorials like this for a long while. Thank you!
All good!
Thank you very much Andrew! These shapes are pretty hard to perfect! I didn’t know the use face curves!!!
Hi Ali, yeah face curves can come in handy. I was using 2020 over a VPN recently and could not find face curves in the usual (2017) place, hopefully it was just a glitch and they have not been removed.
thanks for sharing your procecedure of modeling, very instructive method.
All good!
Majestic! :')
amazing! i use Creo Style - i use a similar technique, but you show a couple of extra steps that are perfect!
Good stuff! The last version I used was WF4, I bet things have changed since then! Is style a separate module still/ISDX?
great, time for MK3!
I probably have Mk2 of other techniques, I should check!
Lovely work! Cheers Andrew… I will send you an email
Sounds good!
