How about merging tangent faces in surface sweep options?

Hmm didn’t check that! Merge faces is normally on by default in loft and boundary so I assumed it didn’t want to merge them for some reason.

Thanks for that Mikolaj. The option to merge faces is off by default in sweep, vs on in loft and boundary. Works well! Learn something every day.
