    Great video! I think it would be helpful when you're talking about tensile and yield strength to compare it to a common alloy like 1016 and show us how much stronger or weaker this is.

      4150 has ten more points of carbon, which means it can get significantly stronger and harder and thus more wear resistant.

      @@tajituck888 I have anything from a DD to a Colt and the rest are hand built using premium stuff stainless and all 4150 barrels. I personally wont own 4140

    At the risk of stating the obvious... and I'm not trying to be a jerk.
    (0:54) The explanation of the '1' for the addition of chromium in 4140... The speaker said it's up to 1.01% (one point one percent)... When he should have stated it's 1.10% (one point ten percent). The video shows the 1.10%.

    4140 is not as good as 54 40 tho
