You guys are the best. That's why our company buys from you! We will continue to buy from you as long as you keep knowledgeable employees. We trust you to deliver and you have never let us down. Thank you.
Hey, Mr. Jackson, I’m just a hobbyist apprentice looking for some steel to learn some machining and must mention that’s I’ve called your east tampa store today and was impressed with the person on the phone, Beth! What a friendly and non-intimidating person to make someone welcome in such a new world, and that means the world for me! She deserves some kudos! Super satisfied and I haven’t even been in the store yet!!! Really looking for meeting your team and hope all are as friendly as Beth was today! Great video!
I love absorbing knowledge and I have decent amount of knowledge regarding chemistry, so I have found these videos very informative. I’m not looking for the actual formulas for producing these metals, but having a working knowledge of the basics help understand this. Thanks for making these!
Great analysis with "CAST" or Carbon Steel, Alloys, Stainless, and Tool Steels. An electric arc furnace is vital for Tool Steels and Alloy Steels. Mini-mills in America make great steel products. Thanks! T J (Tom) Vanderloop, CMfgE; ATEA, AWS & SME Leadership/Membership
I didn't get it, first you said the second digit of the series indicates the Sub-category , then you said generally it indicates the concentration of the major element ?? so how can I find out for (SAE1015) for example ?? can anyone explain ? :)
Hello everyone, get technical news on steel material, for all the engineers out there very imp.shortcuts and tricks Starting with types of steel 👇ua-cam.com/video/HrgALkUkXlU/v-deo.html
I have a question for steel knowers. What if you cut smaller part from very thick steel (10x10x10 inch cube), lets say 2x2x6 inch. Is it same strength as if you cast 2x2x6 steel right away?
what kind of steel is the strangest for wrenches?. i screw on rusty cars most. and all wrenches i been try´d is just failing... i have to grind and its not fun. i have not tryed titanium whrenses but those are really expensive...... 2000 dollars for a set. seen videos on wright-grip wrenches and those are strong but im living in europe little hard to get them...
Sad your too far away. I need lightweight but reasonably strong mast tubing for Ham Radio Antennas. EMT fails Rigid has weight issue. As long as can drill it bent end and hold up with guying to 50 mph great but locally very little available beyond emt or rigid plumbing.By sizing can also telescope down easily.
I have always disliked this system. The chemical composition defines a material property, therefore the more precise way would be to simply show the chemical composition like X120Mn12, It is immediately clear that this Steel contains 1,2% Carbon and 12% manganese.

Do you guys have a video explaining the difference between grades of steel? For example, the difference between A36 and AR400 96X240 plates?

Ya man, ty for the info. Quick, concise and helpful.
Very useful would you please continue explaining more about steel in this series.
man the laidback holiday vibe tho, the soundtrack heck even the guy's name rhymes hehe
Found this while doing homework researching, and when the video started I just started vibin'.
Amazing entrepreneurial opportunity. I like it.
this is very well done, props
a very nice video series, thanks for the overview

Way more complicated then the Bronze Age lol. Been binge watching all your videos. Going to geek out on our welder!
Thank you for this amazing video :)

I thought the best steel came from a blast furnace
Great video!
great video
Very nice sir short and simple

Hi, i am a hobbyist knife maker and as such I purchase small stock bars, usually 2 by 12 by .125. do you offer O1 in such small quantities?
I didn't get it, first you said the second digit of the series indicates the Sub-category , then you said generally it indicates the concentration of the major element ?? so how can I find out for (SAE1015) for example ?? can anyone explain ? :)
Hello
in the last you told 4140
4 indicates mylabdeum
And
1 % is mylabdeum or Re-sulfurized carbon steel
Please clarify..
Thank you for the info!
Though, was I the only one that thought the background music was a little goofy? 🤣
How can an AISI number be used to designate steel with greater than 1% carbon ?
Within 20 seconds I know he was Canadian
How?
Says "aboot" at :15
Excuse me, what kind of steel that use for make thread rod ?
Very good!
Good video
Difference between 550d and500 sd tmt bars
JUST FOUND OUT THEY HAVE A LOCATION JUST A FEW MILES FROM AND HALF THE PRICE OF WHAT I HAD BEEN PAYING.

unless you change the harness etc by the cutting process it is the same yes. Steel in general is Isotropic unlike carbon fiber which is anisotropic.

Thank you Sir.
Thanks!
Thanks for the video but this one appears that it needed to be at least ten minutes long.
Thank you sir

What kind of steel is required to make a sword on Venus? I am asking for a friend.

cool
Must be Canadian eh.
what aboot the video made you say that
RipplzMusic it's actually more like aboat out west. Like on the water
So is it a supermarket or a convenience store? Fail slogan. Razz.

Clever with enough views you can get paid to advertise. Good luck.
I ent buy in’ my metals from a god darn Canadian.
Can you make your intro a little louder and more jarring???
