      Agreed. This is the reality of a build. Those two episode builds on UA-cam are cool and all but in neat realistic to us average car enthusiasts.

      Absolutely agree, normal people do the process little by little so that’s how I enjoy it! Other channels just use one video and then you don’t know what’s involved in doing the job, so no learning from that

      totally agreed, I'm less of a fan of the driving and more of the builds so it'd be quite the turn off for it to be less technical.

    I like the fact whilst building the vehicle you explain in detail any issue you may encounter. Sometimes not always with a solution at first, but I think that’s what makes it worth watching.

    I think true car enthusiasts appreciate the process it's like going to your friend's house to see how far they've come or vice versa... and then wanting to help too 👍🏾

      Exactly. The Lexus is like good ChrisFix told me he repair was going to go. The M5 is usually the repair I end up doing.

    i enjoy the episodes grinding it out, i learn so much! plus if you take 2 weeks off and POOF the cars are done, that defeats the whole purpose of watching a build series

    More detail is better than a quick fix of "It's done"
    Perhaps tackling more than one project at a time would help you from feeling like you're doing the same thing over and over, maybe have simple project ongoing on something cheap?

    I personally prefer more episodes that don't skip things. I would much rather see the whole process including any problems as it makes it much more involving. Keep up the good work. You also need to realise that most of us really look forward to your twice weekly episodes and feel part of the whole process. I think UA-cam has replaced the TV for many of us and the content on UA-cam is far better and what we actually want to see rather than pointless shallow celebrity shows!

    I think it’s a good balance of getting stuff done and not being too slow. The time lapse helps. Lovin the Saturday morning videos! Just like the powerblock back in the day.

    As an E39 touring driver, I’ve really enjoyed seeing the whole process of this wagon. Mine has an LS/T56 in it, but you’re using some of the same suspension parts I have on mine. Really looking forward to seeing what those Stoptechs can do!

    I personally enjoy the detailed breakdown of each project you guys take on. Seeing how much work goes into every piece of the build helps me to appreciate the cars and the work you do. Getting to experience the issues you encounter and how you overcome them is a large part of why I watch your videos and gives me the confidence to work on my own car. Keep up the great work!

    I LOVE the two videos a week chronicling what is being done to the cars. Anyone who complains about the other material simply doesn't enjoy a thorough, detailed, well done build.

    Don't change your videos. I like that you show the little side jobs that really take a lot time to resolve. This channel has an authenticity few other channel on youtube have.

    Top tip is that you leave the drivers side headlight out and adjust the pins on the hood. If it gets stuck push up and dawn on the hood so it horses it open.
    We always had success with that🙃

    The more you show, the better. Its a lot of work for nothing but its the small clips that make it one whole awesome experience. You gotta remember that most of your viewers have dreams to do what you guys are doing and seeing all the small stuff, even things we've seen before is exactly the right motivation we need while watching!!

    I like seeing these builds come together in real time with these long, detailed episodes. I quite watching TV car shows because they’ll build an entire car from the ground up in 20-45 minutes in a single episode. Keep doing what you’re doing!

    Keep doing what you are, the reason I started watching was because of the attention to detail. Ever since you changed the throw out bearing in your bother’s Civic. That was probably the first time I went deep into a car. Thank a lot!!!!!

    I enjoy the numerous episodes, especially the details in the bumps and unexpected challenges. This is a realistic presentation of project cars. SOMETHING always pops up to slow you down, and it's nice seeing the process of overcoming that.

    I really think the grind is something that is missing in alot of videos from others, it pends a huge amount of reality and relatability to the process so many get frustrated with but you motivate myself and others to not give up and keep going !

    Glad see that you’ve been fightning with the hood and latches and it didn’t take you an eternity.
    Adjusting the hood and fixing the latches took me like a week!

    As per your poll at the beginning I asked my girls (3&6) and we all agree that we love how the series are going, love the tinkering and all the steps in the process. Truth be told my 3 year old really loves when you guys work at Super speed (aka time lapse) Keep up the great work fellas!

    Keep the content as it is. Personally for me it's more rewarding going through the builds and the whole process with you guy's. I also think it's the excitement in people to see the finished projects rather than the impatience.

    This is the “real” part of major mods and swaps... the nitty gritty of why car projects drag on. So I’m all in on seeing the whole process. I’ve been there myself, but there’s always more to learn.
    You’re building my dream daily here - love the E39 generation, love sport wagons, and making it M5 is awesome. Even the colour is perfect as far as I’m concerned.

    Yup. My E39 hood latch was difficult to open too. I was always worried the cable was going to snap one day.

    I'm actually surprised y'all went through with a projector retrofit. The EvoX-R is a killer projector and has an amazing high beam... y'all really need to get some high beam splitters and properly utilize that retrofit. Trust me, dual low beams and quad high beams in an OEM form factor is so satisfying.

    Multiple episodes of the "grind" creates emotional investment in the project. Shorter builds have a more transactional feel. Keep doing what you're doing!

    I'm a minute in, and to answer your question....I'm emotionally invested in watching these builds. I'm here for the builds as well as you two have become somewhat of a fixture in my "tv" time. Don't rush things to pander to a minority of people who want to see things done over night. They should watch regular tv where the cars are built months before its even aired. Take your time, enjoy the builds, and brings us along for the journey. Unfortunately, I have a condo, so I cant work on my stuff anymore. So, I work on things vicariously through you!

    I personally like the way you do the videos because you do the time lapse and you stop when you come into some technical issues and I feel like I'm learning with on how to solve issues and not just seeing the end product with no idea that something more complex happened or that their was an issue and how it was solved. Like with the mullet mustang I knew there would be some tuning issues and challenges.

    For me the journey is just as important as the destination. I like seeing all the work and effort being put in... all the trials and solutions.. it makes everything seem more accessible to the rest of us imho... keep up the great work!

    Its like a tv show :)
    It gives a realistic idea of how car projects suppose to take.

    I love these videos. It gives a much more realistic view of what it actually takes to build these cars. A lot of other people out there just make it look like it was way easier than it actually is. On my first build, I got discouraged by how much longer it was taking than I expected. Had I known what it really takes going into it I wouldn't have gotten discouraged halfway through.

    I wanna see all the detail and every turn of a bolt! We're all excited to see it finished but don't want to skip anything, just like grinding out the hood issue, would've even like to see a lil more of that issue for future help for others. Setting a pace like this for when the bigger projects come will set up a standard of detail that will match no other

    I love the episodes. There is no need to rush, get it done right and show us all the mishaps along the way. I learned a lot from the mistakes. I'm a Lexus guy but that M wagon is going to be uniquely nice.

    Tip: for heating the headlight black rubber glue you can use an oven at low temperature to soften the glue and make a solid new seal.

    As a someone who loves working on cars i would like to see how stuff is done. Not just commercials for companies that makes parts, not time-lapse bs, I would like to see every bolt being taken off and replaced, and better camera angles where we can see that.
    I like 1hour episode with details more than 20min of episode explaining and than time-lapsing.
