TLDR; traumatic stuff happened with him and people irl and it was bleeding into his online presence, and he decided what's best for his health is to live more privately and make games. No one's obligated to stay online, especially when it's killing them, but I heard Julian will still keep streaming. Watch his last stream if you're curious.
