Raging over/Criticizing Splatoon 3 - DingDongVG Stream Edit (w/ Chat)

DingDong and Julian criticize Nintendo Switch online and Splatoon's net code while they play nasty with the inkbrush. This is a cut of a nearly 48 hour stream since half of it was DingDong staying up ranting about stuff going on. I might do an edit of the full stream sometime, but I wanted to just do this to quell my new viewers wanting more DingDong stream content, also this was my favorite part.

Sorry for the clicking noises in the video, I use Opera GX (not sponsored) and I was writing dumb chat messages. Also don't know how UA-cam will treat the discoverability of this video since it became not monetizable out of the gate (which according to their guidelines it really doesn't violate anything), maybe they're doing that to the drama videos about DingDong and I'm not gonna feed into that. Kind of in bad taste to post this so soon after Ding Dong was spotted loitering outside Nintendo Headquarters with a baseball bat and a handwritten list of all the people that worked on Splatoon 3, but a good stream highlight regardless
It's so weird, as someone who's almost exclusively seen dingdong and julian through oneyplays, to hear them talk without chris chiming in. While I definitely prefer them as a trio, I like dingdong a lot on his own.

Thanks for this honestly, was finished watching the past few streams and honestly seeing ding dong just talk about a game he was passionate about again was refreshing after all of the shit he and Julian have been put through.

Ding Dong summed up the splatoon experience pretty well imo. 3 has fun moments but some unbelievably unfair moments too

Streams in general for me seem a bit too long to watch as I'm busy, but highlights like this give me some Ding-dong I've been waiting for for years
I knew about DingDong and Julian streaming but never actually checked out one of their streams because of the length of a full stream being too much for me, so thank you so much for making this highlight of their stream. It was great!
Thanks for this. In September I started archiving all his and The Best Gamers stuff for personal use. I knew he'd eventually private everything.
So far I have 51 DD videos/streams and for TBG I have 141 streams. It's a ridiculous amount of space needed but I'm glad I saved them.
Idk if he'd still take down reuploads since he's now not online. I really hope I could because it's he brought so much enjoyment to so many people. Even if those uploads got negative feedback it's not like he'd see it anyway...
I think he won't take much action to remove reuploads, but maybe try posting them on archive.org just so there's something left for his core audience. It's a good way to archive stuff UA-cam might take down.

This is way too relatable. The amount of times I've started a game of Splatoon and been called by my girlfriend for something and had to quit, only to come back to find out I've been locked out for 8 arbitrary minutes is ridiculous.

I guess I’ll put this here, a lot of the issues with online have been majorly fixed, and most of the disconnects nowadays are mostly due to players closing the game themselves and leaving mid match, so I’d personally recommend Splatoon 3 now considering good amount of the issues have been addressed

Based for calling out squid partying for what it is as collective griefing like any other game would call it regardless if it's one guy or an entire server taking part

I always thought squid partying was when both teams do it at once?
It can be either team but he was mentioning how it's annoying when only one team does it
@@OBSMProductions Oh, I knew he was complaining about one team doing it. I just thought it was only a "squid party" if *everyone* did it (otherwise it's griefing, and not much of a party)
Dead By Daylight punishes you for leaving games too. Doesn’t matter how toxic the other players are being.

i disagree on dingdong looking down on squidpartying, i think context matters and when two squids are just teabagging its just squid partying, falling off the map is the same too. nobody owes it to dingdong to have a ''proper'' match and i kind of am sick of games that forcefully funnel people into playing the game correctly.
i want online games and their experiences to be curated by the players, not by a company.
