In 2018 they found a meningioma in my anterior cerebri faux… I was supposed to get a follow up MRI but it wasn’t done. I’ve been having horrible headaches and sensitivity to light and double vision at times, especially at night. They scheduled an MRI to check on the growth of the meningioma.. all I know is that it’s between the hemispheres of my brain… and I know there’s blood vessels there. Has anyone else had one there? Are my symptoms from that, or maybe something else? I’m just trying to learn about meningiomas and prepare myself for what’s coming. Any advice? I can’t believe my provider didn’t schedule the follow up MRI all those years ago.🤦🏻♀️😳🤯 Thankfully I have a provider who is taking great care of me.
Thank you !ou have been amazing in how you clearly explain everything,I had the Surgery November 21st and recovering nicely and feel much better watching this video.
Thank you for your comprehensive description of what I’ve been suspecting since a PET scan in 2022 showed activity in both brain and right upper lung. Lung resection in same year, oncogenic activity in brain has been ignored by all treating physicians , I have a third PET scan slated for some future date .I feel fortunate I am still relatively symptom free after two years , Gliablastoma must not be a player in my case
Hi dr great explanation & Thanks. I have a question, I have just been Diagnosed with a 1:5 cm tumour? At the back of my skull? Near to my spine, found on Ct head scan with iodine , After a Tia. Would I need MRI scan to find out how to treat pls answer , appreciate
My wife is sick and complaining of a severe headache and complaining of two veins running down the sides of the forhead becoming painful. Could it be a symptom of a tumor?
Mine is super small but I have symptoms I'm sorry but doctors typically wait until symptoms are severe or permanent and it's bs! I've had symptoms now for 3 years and they keep saying it's too small to cause issues yet how do they know I'm not a cookie cutter patient smh
Why would you want surgery it will not do anything for your symptoms plus the surgery will disfigure your face most likely and will bring on new signs and symptoms here doctors are telling you what they know so don't think a surgery is going to alleviate your symptoms it will not it will add only new ones most likely plus face disfigurement it's your choice
I was removed tumour 2017, it was 23mm, 5yrs later aweek ago was removed again which was 35mm recurring....I trust God it's over. What can I do to prevent it to recure again.
Did you receive radiation after the tumor was removed in 2017? Have they been doing repeated MRI scans to catch the tumor before it grew back? Monitoring is very important
Can a meningioma on your spine cause extreme pain your mri can’t see? I have a morphine pump or I wouldn’t be able to walk or sit. But I’d really like to find the problem and fix it surgically so I could remove the drug. They said they saw meningiomas, on my spine nut they were small.
I disagree wholeheartedly with the notion imposed by the companies that provide cellular service, that cell usage does not lead to meningiomas. IT DOES ! All studies that do prove such a relationship have been destroyed by the various providers, however I have in my possession several studies from Switzerland, Holland an Australia that connect the dots in an honest and scientific way. It is literally a criminal action to inform people at lectures that cell usage is not VERY dangerous.
so is cell usage now banned in those countries? I don't think it is, nor is it advisory not to use them. Maybe go hands free if you're personally concerned and can't desist?
My mom is 67 and she is diabetic.. she has a 6 cm meningioma diagnosd yesterday . Is it safe fr her to go through surgery? Kindly do help answering my question as the tumor is huge and I need to take immidiate decision whether or not to go fr the surgery.
MY SISTER has one located behind the ear on the bone. They say they can't operate due to location. She is going thru 56 radiation treatments to try to stop growth. Her speech, her shoulder, her leg, foot arm, everything on right side effected. Any treatment u recommend. She's going to MAYO, in wheelchair.
I just had a baseball sized meningioma removed, some residual may be left by superior sagital sinus. They want to do radiation in 3 months. Should i wait, or just be pro-active and do radiation right away?
@@Jamie68p my apologies for the delay. I feel great, my nerves in my head where the tumor was removed and the side of my face where they had to remove a piece of my forehead, the nerves are coming back. So I have the occasional headaches. Other than that, I thank God I’m alive to tell it 💖🙏🏾💪🏾
