I am writing a 10 marker on 2 reasons for patterns of domestic violence. I think i need to write more as my paragraphs are not massive but I dont know anything else to write. I used material and radical feminist explanations. Last time my 10 marker wasnt even a whole page my teacher said it was wayyy to short.
HI Alexandra, it is not always about the length of answer but the content, and the skill. Some students do write very succinctly. However, your teacher may have some ideas of further knowledge that you could include (and didn't). For instance, you can add additional depth by using Wilkinson research, who explores the socio-economic status, such as being in rented accommodation, unemployed, etc. Likewise Dobash and Dobash considered in their research the triggers to domestic violence. You could also in your analysis question the validity of the statistics (of the patterns), e.g. the dark figure, and why people may not report it. Likewise, male victims may not come forward either that may skew the pattern. Also, a lot of research assumes female victims, however what about children that are violent toward their parents or siblings. Just some other things to consider in your answer. thanks for uploading this Ms can i use one of the hooks from the item and then my second answer does not come from the hook but answers the question will that be rewarded as well? or if i use both hooks to answer one question and then the second paragraph answers the question but does not come form the item will it be rewarded? Hi, on the 10 mark with an item BOTH hooks MUST come come from the item. The main focus of this question is to show your skills of application, and how you can apply your HOOKS placed in the item. :-) Hope this helps

No item hooks means you have not answered the question (apply material from the item) means you cap your marks at 3.
So you dont put it in a grid like i was told… :( at least there are 2 more papers to do it correctly ig
