For anyone considering just a slip on. Is it worth it?
I'm looking at a slip on for this bike so I'm trying to better understand the potential difference between the stock setup and a slip on.
Obviously before shelling out on a new can and more importantly before choosing the type of slip on. That is, one with or without a sound insert option.
Aside from the visible results using the Decibel X program on my IPad I can also attest to hearing the slightly louder, if not meatier note in person while conducting the recordings. Without the can though, it does sound rough.
A stock MT-10 with a straight through end can(no baffle) suggests this is the loudest it can get, only with a better and more refined note.
