@@colinmurrayYTbeen here since your home workout video, you’ve come a long way and I guess I tried to keep up. Hit 12 pull ups today and the tuck front lever.
I love the fact that he's not like other influencers who just solely teach you about bodybuilding and calisthenics but instead he actually teaches you how to improve your life in other ways😊 And he's getting sponsors now😂 but anyways thanks for the helpful video❤❤❤
Only thing I could even add to this that helps me personally is not only listening 2 music but having Playlist for distinctive things for example I got a Playlist for when I wanna push my mind into training which would have music more upbeat like funk electro etc. And lowfi for when I wanna brainstorm on writing or drawing
literally everyone asks me how i look so good and how i treat myself so good and all i do is tell them about you. they come back and tell me how theyve never heard abt you and how great you are! thanks collin
Currently reading atomic habits and I am on the last law, so you wouldn't believe how excited I was when you mentioned the Polgars. Is only been about a month, but Ive followed the books recipe to the best of my ability and I can already see the the tremendous increase in my life, but what makes it amazing is that it doesn't feel like I havent exerted myself to the point of exhaustion, it makes it feel easy. For those who have read it and followed it, you definitely know why. Sick video, keep it up.
Atomic Habits is a great book! Our habits mold us is so many way. Designing our environment to foster the life we would like is a great way to approach the issue. Great video!
The positive environment is such a good concept: I decided to get in shape this year, so I've assembled a pullup bar, bench and weights in my front room where I spend most of my time and now I have a ton of places to hang my washing. Seriously though, it's been a major help with my goals. If I'm feeling it, I can get a workout going easily; if not, I put on netflix and just slowly bash out reps while trying not to think about it. It's been a major influence in my consistency. Your channel is great mate, you talk frankly and honestly and you're not a "YO YO YO WASSUP" type of youtuber which is refreshing. Your content has been so useful for me personally the last few months, I really hope your channel continues to grow - you deserve it.
Your type of content is the exact type of content I had in mind when I started making my videos. It’s nice to have a mix of advice on the Mental and physical aspects of life. Thank you for inspiring me.
Someone mentioned this before but I love the simplicity of your videos not too much editing. Which earned a sub! You're straight to the point, record demonstrations/mini clips (that does not go unnoticed!) keep up the good work! =D
ive taken up bullet journaling the past couple of months and its really helped with how i keep track of goals/working out. I just follow what another youtuber, matt ragland, does and ive adapted a few things to fit my individual needs but all in all its been fantastic! i usually spend a day and plan out a week/month of workouts so I already know what im going to do without going into the week wondering
The best advice I could give to anyone is by saying out loud something you want to change. I used to drink soda oftentimes but when I tried to only drink water and I got offered soda I just say that I dont drink soda so I tricked my mind to not drink it. Although I only drink water, I also consume other beverages here and there.
great video, colin ! i managed to catch your first ever (intentional) premiere 😏i used to always try and "brute force" my way through my environment instead of ever trying to change things around to set myself up for success, it was tiring. now it's so much easier to stick to my goals 🙌 cheers to everyone sticking to their fitness goals !
Lol thank you Sean glad my premiere was a success😂 and yeah it makes it way easier when you set yourself up!Thanks for watch tho hope you like the product
Nice video! Congrats on the sponsorship. I am glad you are getting some much deserved attention. Your channel is gold and full of good tips with a good attitude and you don’t take yourself too seriously.
For soda drinking, I started getting flavored sparkling water or sparkling mineral water. The fizz of the sparkling water helped me when I was craving soda, but with no sugar and the hydration benefits.
One thing that happened to me recently is we got evicted and i ended up back in an environment that i left 2 years ago because it wasnt good for me. It was abit demoralizing, but now i realize that its an opportunity to take the habbits and momentum ive built in my previous environment (which wasnt the best either) and finally overcome this negative perception ive developed about my current environment and the power i believed it had over me because of my past experiences. And when i do that I'll become that much stronger of a person. (Dont know if that makes sense to anyone but wanted to share)
I love your videos. Your calm voice is pleasurable to listen and your tips are transmitted in a realistic and achievable way. it is great to see you being sponsored, also.
Incredible video Colin .. one of your best .. and one that helps everyone .. Environment and habit checks .. like you said .. make it easy .. and I loved the idea of putting your shoes and gear bag by the door .. just like getting out of bed .. once you are up you are good to go .. One of the things that helps me most deals with this .. when my alarm goes off I get out of bed and make the bed .. even if I am half asleep doing it .. simple and it works .. :) And what you said about water replacing soda is great .. not a soda drinker but I use water a different way .. keep a bottle by my bed and drink as the alarm is going off .. simple yeah and it helps to wake up a bit and hydrate too :) These kinds of videos are as helpful as the exercise ones .. even more so because ANYONE regardless of athletic prowess can still improve! Btw ,. As an avid reader, I also scatter books about :] Really appreciate these lifestyle change and maintenance videos Colin .. thanks so very much for all you do .. for all of us🤗 Jen999💙
That sounds like a great way to start your day. I think I'm going to start putting a bottle near my bed too. But thank you Jen I'm glad you enjoyed the vid!
Just stumbled upon your channel and videos and BRO I FCKING LOVE YOU THANK YOU FOR BEING STRAIGHT TO THE POINT AND BS! Your realness and beginner’s friendly guides is so helpful. Keep it up and keep on posting!
it’s hitting just right, i noticed this past few weeks i started binge-ing eating bread i mean 2-3 for pieces. i also observed i have been craving a lot of sweet food. i need to understand the source of this craving and gently talk to myself tha there is no perfect diet at all. it’s fine. i’m getting bette and healthier
Even a little splash of (no sugar) lemon juice in water it makes it taste better than plain water or soda (even Realemon works great for this), also carbonated water is a lot nicer than plain water.
For diet, a friend once said to me "A moment on the lips, forever on the hips." It stuck with me often whenever I thought of eating junk food and re-evaluate if it was worth it or not
Muy buen video Colin. Definitivamente has mejorado tus hábitos, tu apariencia, tus goles y tu forma de pensar Great video Colin . Definitely you have improved your habits, appearance, goals and how you think. And at the same time you are impacting a lot of people. 👏 👏
What is your opinion on using BCAA drink before workout? Is BCAA useful. I already take NAKED nutrition 5LB 100% Pea Protein Powder from North American Farms - Vegan Pea Protein AND animal whey brand SASCHA FITNESS Hydrolyzed Whey Protein Isolate,100% Grass-Fed (2.3 Pounds, Peanut Butter). Thinking switching to vegan.
Yo Colin, your videos have been helping me along with my fitness journey, and I appreciate the content you put out. I just wanted to ask a couple of questions if you dont mind, for starters I'm just starting on my calisthenic/fitness journey and wanted to know does it matter when I start taking creatine? Secondly, I'm currently on a deficit I'm 5'7 and have a goal weight of 146(lowest weight I can go) current 177,I've been losing 2lbs a week at this rate I'll reach my goal in a few months thing is I'm unsure if that's enough time to develop that 'aesthetic six pack' how long did it take you to start seeing definitive results?
Yeah taking creatine is a good idea you will gain some water weight from it though. So just keep that in mind as you cut, and the 6-pack will show once you get lean enough. Keep working at it, you’re doing good and maybe add in some core exercises like leg raises
I have ADHD and bipolar, when clutter gets out of control, I leave everything messy and nasty my mood becomes depressive, then I have no motivation to workout or do anything productive that's why sometimes I force myself to clean and organize.
