As a 5ft 6 130 pound guy it has always been extremely difficult to find workwear that doesn’t look huge on me haha I just kinda accepted it by now but I’m gonna have to try the rigby

@@healing2gether Hell yeah bro, finally got some 32x32s and I'm happy with them. Glad I didn't get the 30x32. Enough room for a hoodie and still a good fit without. Probably picking up some more in the future. Thanks for your vids. Helped me alot with my choice.

I decided to go for the gravel ones..I'm 6 feet tall and 183 pounds .. I like to wear a hoody underneath the overall..I also like them pretty down but don't want them touching the oily ground so.. and considering all this - thinking of size 34 with 32 length

Hey Adam! I just came across your video and I just have to say that you’re 100 percent right on the difference between overalls. I was just wondering if you know any other places that are carrying the brown ones…I was fortunate enough to find the gravel ones but it seems they don’t have the browns anywhere! I made the mistake and purchased two duck bib overalls one in brown and black and the fit isn’t right. I’m a bigger guy but I do like the skinnier leg look. Hopefully the gravel flex fit gravel ones that come It feel and look better. (Sorry for the long comment)
Hey David, thanks for watching and joining us here!! It’s funny that you just said that because I’ve been looking for more options and it seems they’re getting really hard to find. Someone just told me about a new model that recently came out, I’m trying to locate them and I will let you know what they are. I’m also trying to find a way to get in touch with someone at Carhart directly to make some recommendations and suggestions.

Hey do you size up on your waist number for your rigbys? Because I have a pair of non carhartt overalls that are true to my pant size and they fit fine but I see a lot of recommendations to size up
I would not size up, personally I have been very disappointed in the sizing and lack of consistency, but I would like them to fit a little more true to size. That being said I still love all of my Rigbys!!

@@insideouz Oh man you did luck out because they are getting very difficult to fine now, and I know a lot of people are turned off by what’s going on with Carhart but unfortunately there was just no work where that is the same as what Carhart makes and these overalls are in a class of their own
I loved my rugged flex overalls because of the fit....until I went "en fuego" while running a grinder. I better go 100% cotton next time.
Question what size did you get in the overalls
So I tried a couple different sizes, if watch the end of the video I discuss which pair is in what size. But I normally wear a 30x32 pant and I got the overalls in 34x32 and 32x34 and the fitting is not consistent.
I ordered some in my normal size length for Carhartt pants and the length was around 5 inches too long, had to return them.
I still prefer liberty overalls they last about a year working on the farm

The Kodiak were about $150 and I love them for comfort but not durable for daily work. I use the Georgia wedge sole for hard work and love them. I have a video on this channel of them

Might be tough but I think you might find the Deluth trading to be more comfortable at your stature

I remember when Carhart was a working man’s clothing now it’s a fashion status poor quality control in an effort to save money they distribute where everything is made so ever single shirt comes out a different size

I like the brown ones and they fit me better then the grey one.

I was also searching for something rugged yet stylish for firearms training courses w/ built in knee sleeves, etc.
What do you think of the more hi-tech overalls, like the Truwerk T2, are they gimmicky or overpriced in your opinion?
@@keenanschouten2582 oh awesome, I’d love to hear what you think of them after a little wear and tear, especially if you’re doing training in them. My only problem with them is I typically have to carry my LCP Special because it’s small enough to pocket in a sleeve.
Now for the Truwerk gear, I do think it’s overpriced….but…there’s nothing else like the T3. I do want to try them but that’s like a pair of sneakers for all 6 of my kids lol. So I’ll need to wait til I’m back to making money again after this surgery…or when this channel has made it big ;) I’m trying to hook up with more product sponsors.

@@healing2gether Ukraine. Amazon have selective delivery, ussually we need proxy to deliver goods to them first, and they shippit to us.
Carhartt has lost my business. First the lack of quality. They’re made in Mexico or Bangladesh or somewhere overseas and the material is thinner and buttons will fall off. You can’t find them ( except for the winter insulated ones) anywhere to try them on and when ordering online the sizing is way off. You can order two of the exact same size and you will get two different sizes every time; I order them to work in, not to waste time and money sending them back. Then Carhartt sealed the deal for me with their vaccine mandates for their employees. I never minded paying more when they were made here because they were great quality and you knew that they would last forever. Now, it’s a crap shoot whether you will get something that will fit or last. I discovered Roundhouse a couple years ago and will never go back. Quality product at a fair price and made in the USA. But buyer beware, the “Roundhouse” you see in Walmart are knock offs, made in Vietnam. Order from the manufacturer and they are made in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Yes I completely understand and agree in many ways, I will not buy any more Carhart products but I have spent so much money on my other ones I need to use them. But I have started taking the carhartt labels off
