Hi Theone! Wow, Japanese and French are pretty different--which one do you find easier? I would also love to visit Japan one day. I have been to France twice and it's beautiful--I look forward for you to visit!

@@mariyaukrainian I think I find French easier for two reasons: 1) I’ve studied it longer, and 2) the alphabet is basically the same as in English, haha. That’s why I’m intimidated to learn a Slavic language like Ukrainian; I’m scared about facing another new alphabet! Do you have any additional tips for learning new alphabets, or do I just need to make myself do so to learn a language like Ukrainian?
Thanks so much for your thoughtful reply! :)

I’m learning German and I am an intermediate in German. I really love this language. 😊😊 I have been learning German for a year now and I can speak very well, I even speak to my family in German to practice making conversation although I have to translate into English all the time but I do not mind it. 😊😊

At the moment i am learning German in EU sponsored school so that is some serious learning, on the other hand in my personal opinion i always try to look for simmilar or same words before going to new words and actually learning, like for example old people in my area often say something like "Vrag odnija Prišu" whole translation is not important but what is important is that i somehow noticed that Spanish say "Prisa" for "Rush" and that it actually has same meaning like "Priša" which is also slang for "Rush, being in a time limit" situation, so i kind try to use that similarities to help understanding new things .
But thing that some people here speak Cronglish/Crodeutsch also helps so you actually can hear sentences like "Danas je klaudi i rejniti će, gren u stor sa Trenom, Šapiti" or translated "It is raining today so i go with a train to the store to shop, buy something"
Also considering Ukranian and Bulgarian and Macedonian and Russian there is a big problem for me and many speakrs from Croatia and i guess even from West Slavic countries and beyond, we dont know Cyrilic alphabet because we use Latin, even if centuries ago there was Croatian Cyrilic (and Glagolitic script) we kind of left it, older people know it because of Yugoslavia where they learned both but younger people do not, so script is the big problem.

Wow! Thanks for sharing! I learned some German in middle school in Ukraine, but I can honestly barely remember a word. How do you find it?
I would definitely think that alphabet is an impediment here--that's why I always try to write in Latin letters as well but I am not sure how much it helps as some sounds are not entirely possible to describe using Latin letters

@@mariyaukrainian It is toungebreaking sometimes, for example 555 Funfhundredfunfundfunfzig or something like that i am not even sure if it is good, there is no problem understanding but to pronounce words is very hard .
You can't combine Latin letters to do simillar Sounds?
Like few days ago one very crazy Croatian band, like they are not something you see every day 😅 won Eurovision qualification with song "Mama ŠČ" and People say that it is a sound from a letter from Russian cyrilic, but in Latin is ŠČ, anyway it is weirdest antiwar song i ever heard in my life, like ever, but i just wanted to show that improvisation with Latin letters to do cyrilic letter sound.

Singing is all about the feeling you put in it so sing away:) I have several karaoke videos in this playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLwMxfTkLbtc_Fzgb2LWF1QyiKW0mjEzpz.html and truly think this is a great way to practice speaking :)

@@mariyaukrainian I think the common version would be great, something a Ukrainian would watch! Even if I don’t understand everything, it would still be helpful to hear the pronunciation and identify words I know! I try to listen to vloggers and such, but tv would be awesome to try! Дуже дякую💝
