I know that will never happen, but I can hope. I've been playing since BLOPs, and I'm disappointed to see the franchise in this state. WW2 looks like shit, and I probably won't be picking up anymore CoD games in the future, unless everyone says it's really good, or they make Ghosts 2 or some shit. The group of "human beings" who call themselves activision are some of the most parasitic, greed-corrupted wads of meat I've ever had to deal with. I've seen a lot of companies to some extremely greedy things, but honestly, for me, Activision is #1 on that greed list.

I have 20-30 long-time shooter enthusiasts (COD, BF, HALO, etc) on my friends list....I was the ONLY person to buy IW (and I did it only because I had to in order to get MWR). I cry I cry. Just like you, I had tons of amazing memories in CoD4. I was excited for this game. As I played it, memories came back to me. I was very happy throughout the year with MWR. The new weapons, supply drops, DLC (I didn’t buy it), camos, etc. weren’t enough to shake me from this game. I only keep in contact with 2 other people I played CoD4 with back in the day. They didn’t buy this. My current IRL friends that did buy it, didn’t understand my love for this game (they joined the bandwagon during MW2/BO1). I’m sad things turned out the way it did, but I had an amazing time. Hopefully, if MW2 Remastered comes out it doesn’t suffer the same fate.

I loved MWR for being a boots on the ground game so it game me something to play while IW was out doing its thing that I had no interest in. I jumped on the COD train starting at BO1 and jumped off after Advanced Warfare, so I didn't have the nostalgia memories of MW, but it was still a fun game to go back to for a few hours every month. Now, I will definitely be back on the train for WWII.
Bro I feel ya. Being able to relive those memories is a great feeling. But when those memories are being altered by the new screwed up version, that just breaks the whole nostalgic feeling and my joy to play the game. Advanced Warfare was great but it should have stayed there. Implementing that into the games on which you had such a great time just brings the joy down to 25% and actually breaks the game and engine on many levels. I want those fun times back Activision.
Honestly, I only played MWR for the campaign. The main reason I got any Legacy Edition (I got the Pro Edition,) was because I got the soundtrack and season pass. I've been playing Call of Duty games since 2005, if I wanted to have a nostalgia trip I would have gone back and play those games. Yeah it's great it's remastered and all that, but there are other games I would rather have remastered/remade. Resident Evil 2, 3, and Code Veronica, Twisted Metal 1, 2, and Black. If your biggest game of the year is a remaster, you're part of the problem with the lack of new ideas and properties coming out.

MWR was R.I.P. after New Years. It’s only a game for people that played it 10 years ago. I last played the game on Christmas Day and I pre-ordered the bundle.MWR was a terrible idea and I hope they don’t remaster other CoDs. Too many big UA-cam channels telling the public “one game sucks and one game is great”. Should have been a year to celebrate, instead it turned into a year of divisiveness.

its not so bad nero ive had an interesting time playing this game and always will so what if they dont have a halloween event that suits me just fine this has been a great call of duty in my experience so live and let live peace out bro you the man nero

I played the shit out of MWR when it came out last November until like January/February of this year. I had a lot of fun and I still do when I play it from time to time

Gutted. Been playing this for 20+ days. Been saving credits and salvage for 6 months, waiting for a Halloween event. COD WW2 is in doubt for me now.
I loved MWR for being a boots on the ground game so it game me something to play while IW was out doing its thing that I had no interest in. I jumped on the COD train starting at BO1 and jumped off after Advanced Warfare, so I didn't have the nostalgia memories of MW, but it was still a fun game to go back to for a few hours every month. Now, I will definitely be back on the train for WWII.
Bro I feel ya. Being able to relive those memories is a great feeling. But when those memories are being altered by the new screwed up version, that just breaks the whole nostalgic feeling and my joy to play the game.
Advanced Warfare was great but it should have stayed there. Implementing that into the games on which you had such a great time just brings the joy down to 25% and actually breaks the game and engine on many levels.
I want those fun times back Activision.
they should have made the event and hint its the last one so everyone would be saying "Thank you!" and "F" instead of getting pissed.

Honestly, I only played MWR for the campaign. The main reason I got any Legacy Edition (I got the Pro Edition,) was because I got the soundtrack and season pass. I've been playing Call of Duty games since 2005, if I wanted to have a nostalgia trip I would have gone back and play those games. Yeah it's great it's remastered and all that, but there are other games I would rather have remastered/remade. Resident Evil 2, 3, and Code Veronica, Twisted Metal 1, 2, and Black. If your biggest game of the year is a remaster, you're part of the problem with the lack of new ideas and properties coming out.
Nothing can save CoD now. What a sad demise, kicking and screaming.
