Love these "Care Packages" and impressed with Mack! You did go a bit M&S Ad Man with the Masking tape "This is Not Only Masking Tape But the Velvet masking Tape..." but I did buy some on your recommendation previously and I am very impressed. Got to say am a bit worried with all the "girly" products you are using recently dayglo nail varnish , hairspray etc - is it common with the ex-navy types? 😉 I previously bought some of the AMMO sets (early / late WWII British / Luftwaffe) and as a novice find them very easy to use - when they run out I will try the new ATOM stuff - particularly like the look of the USAF / USN set for my upcoming USS Nimitz dead pidgeon collection. The GWH Tomcat looks stunning and I am looking forward to your publication wherever whenever.

I really like the ATOM paints, however I'm disappointed by the RAF WWII Early set that I recently bought. Dark Earth and Dark Green are represented by 'Brown' and 'IJA Nakajima Green' - both of which are very poor matches. There is a 'Sky Green' which is ok but should of course be called just Sky and they've included a 'Duck Egg Green' which was never an issued colour - black would have been more useful. Ammo seem to be able to get Luftwaffe and Soviet armour colours right in the ATOM range, but the rest they are just winging, which can only damage their reputation. They have BS colour matches in their standard acrylic range, so that makes this release even more cynical.
I'm going to be talking with them to try and get this sorted, I did some research for them at the start to get the BS codes. I don't think it's ten being cynical, more a lack of deep knowledge in that area.
@@thescalemodellingcafe That would be great Jamie. I've gone 100% acrylic as I've moved the workbench into the house from on outside shed - so lacquer paints and thinners just too smelly. It would be great to get a larger, accurate range of ATOM paints; I currently use AK's 3rd Gen - they're good but not quite as good as ATOM.
I really am becoming a grumpy old man and mean no disrespect to Mig or any if the other similar manufacturers but they do seem to be trying to reinvent the wheel. Own range of brushes being one. My favourite brushes I use are by Rosemary & Co.

The new Atom stuff is better than the standard acrylics, I think you'll be impressed.
