The thing is, these are great against police as well. Against antifa it would be used to disperse them, but against the police, they can be much more dangerous because police formation being much more huddled together and it would be easier target with gasoline or other flammable fluids. A few gasoline filled balloons and a phosphorus shot will be a bad day for anyone who needs to keep a formation.
Hacksmith could you collab with the slow mo guys? They could use their trusty phantom cameras to shoot some of your most iconic projects in high quality super slow mo. Would be awesome to see!
To be clear, the Traditional Dragons Breath will not cycle in a semi-auto 12g. The newer Dragons Breath backed by 00-Buck has much more powder and recoil which will cycle in some Semi-Autos.
In the movie, you can see some moments where it is apparent that there is buckshot in the shell. Such a great series and it only got better with each installation.
Any group going up against John Wick is naturally going to go with dragon breath shells that are going to cycle. So, it’s not BS on productions end if those shells exist.
I don't know about that. I got a drum of 20 for 4th of July and was blasting them off the dock in my Saiga 12 and it was a fucking blast. No cycling problem.
The scene was inspired by a top-down video game called Hong Kong Massacre which in turn was inspired by John Woo's films - films which were the predecessors to John Wick. Stahelski, the director, actually confirmed this in an interview.
Dragons Breath Shotgun scene was truly a cinematic masterpiece in JW4. From Birds Eye View to Music to Shotgun Fire Sequence everything just blended together to give one badass scene. Props to you for your efforts. I think shooting in darker or night background would have made this even more beautiful but it would have been difficult for you to capture in camera.
Since you made a John Wick related video, I first and foremost wanted to pay my respects to the actor playing Charon who passed recently, Lance Reddick. Being a massive fan of the franchise, if there ever is a John Wick 5, it will be difficult to find someone to replace him. 🙏 On a more 'weapon' related note and back on the video covering the weapon itself, amazing job as always! Even if it doesn't catch fire like it does in the movie, leaving a fist-sized hole in the target already seems painful enough, if not deadly. ✊👍
Have you seen the movie? Cause replacing him unfortunately won't be in the cards either way. He was a great actor and person may he rest in Peace in many ways his role in this film was an unintentional sendoff. Was quite intense.
Dragons Breath is a scary round indeed but with your awesome slow mo works it looks really beautiful... can't wait for the review on that gun... Keep up the awesome work as always...
I was shocked at the gasoline experiment also.. You should try that same experiment with 12-gauge hellfire rounds. Ultimate combo ... 12 gauge Double ought buck with dragons breath in it. What's not to love?
Wow! Slick, fast, compact and reliable. That's an absolute Keeper! Superb Slo Mo as usual. Much appreciation and Respect From a long time UK Subscriber. 👍
Dragons breathe that you can buy is more of a novelty to me I've gotten them several times. now if they are made scary with buckshot it's a bit more terrifying lol
I wish this guy added the Lethal Weapon movie clip where Mel was putting the target down range while saying the similar “ ta da do do Da etc” line lol. Also, COD game just had a similar gun setup that they had to need cause it was just too much John Wick flare 😂
Yea saw the movie. Scene was implausible but fun. For those of us trained in close quarter combat, just suspend all that when you watch the movie. Just sit back and imagine the fun you would have doing the same thing. As Winston said, "Just have fun out there"
Like the gun, the movie was cool a little “overkill😂” I think instead of using Dragons breath I would just use some good 00 in my Tavor-12 that should stop anyone that comes in the house uninvited. Plus doubtful the Tavor would cycle either.
Just saw the new John Wick movie the scene with him shooting the dragons breathe is definitely awesome. But the best is him kicking ass with some nunchucks.
Glad to see you back in action. I remember the last Jon Wick review you had was talking about the body armor suit and how shit it would have been. Oh, and i finally got a Vector, wanted one since i saw your review all those years ago. Keep kicking ass.
Glad to have you back making videos! You always had the cinematography level at 100 compared to any other youtube gun channels. Probly the first to exactly care how it looked and sounded.
I will say the dragons breath that I played with quite a long time ago. They did kick quite a bit and would throw the easily past 200ft. I guess they don't make the like they used to.
For like a decade I've been telling people about dragons breath and all people did was talk shit on it. I think Dragons breath IS THE ultimate "me to you round" in cqb. The person on the receiving end would not be happy at all to catch a face full of that. Put that shit in a double barrel coach gun and it's a real BOOM STICK.
Your talking about a movie thats about killers they wouldn't be using store bought regular dragons breath it also shows them making their rounds. Killers probably would be using better bigger rounds with the magnesium add to like slugs sabots or oo buck
Ok, 1st - John is using the modified Taran Tactical version of the Gen-12 (That might make somewhat of a difference, not sure) and 2nd - he's not... #RunninAndGunnin. There's about a 10 second average delay between each shot. He never lays on the trigger during the scene in question. He's not pop. pop. pop, pop. It's more like pop, clear, turn, move, track, pop again. Now there are a few tangos that rush him where it's a defensive pop instead of a seek-N-destroy pop but even then, he never once finger-bangs the trigger. Now, having said all of that - there is obviously a lot of embellished, #MovieMagic going on in that scene. But that's why it's a movie. Truth be told - I had more issues with all the falls from super heights that John took and got right back up than with any weapon magic.
Great video. In the movie they show the guys making the custom rounds, and that’s why they cycled. Then that’s the group of guys he’s clearing. The lighting on fire is because it looks dope in the movie, OR they live in a hairspray factory???? Maybe they were Vain no name bad guys? Yup. That one. Checks out.
Just got out of the movie. The bad guys in Paris are shown loading up Warwolf Ordnance’s Super Dragons Breath. Two of their boxes are on the table label and all. The weapons master reached out to them for permission to use their ammo.
actually if you think about it, "Dragon's Breath" is the only weapon, in most cases, that could take out his enemies. Why? Most of them had Teflon bullet proof suits too. lucky no one else had a gun with Dragon's Breath against John Wick 😎
It wasn't that no one else had it, it was that John Wick was taking them all out asap. He was able to take one of them out fast n took their Shutgun n "dragon breath" ammo. He then went all out n clear the room, he also would reload the shotgun by killing them n taking their ammo. 😆 it was a great action scene.
Of course, the ones with Dragon Breath look better in the movie. In real life, it certainly looks spectacular at night. But my favorite is the Benelli automatic shotgun from Chapter 2
Was there an in universe explanation for the hitmen coming after him using incendiary rounds? I'm trying to think of a reason for using them in combat outside of the Stranger Things universe.
out of curiosity, the answer in chapter four for the shotgun cycling might be a slightly weaker spring, or whatever it is that cycles the shell home. weaker spring or whatever would mean weaker forces acting against the empty casing, allowing it to cycle the weapon fully. I would assume that this kind of modification would make the weapon garbage, if not deadly to the user with any other round, and the cycling action would probably be slightly slower, meaning a decrease in the rate of fire, but the guys in John Wick likely don't care, because fire spewing shotgun is awesome. take all this with a dump truck of salt though, as I'm not even a beginner with firearms, let alone an expert
If you need cycle every time on this dragon's breath ammo, you need use special magazine with half-cut spring inside, you can make it by yourself, just cut half of spring and try shoot.
Just saw the movie... John Wick isn't using a regular Gen-12, he's using a Taran Tactical Gen-12. I wonder if a TTI version cycles. Your's is cool though. If my range will let me use Dragon's Breath, I'll run them through the TTI version of the gun.
Just saw the movie. This scene bugged me, but I gave them the benefit of a doubt that maybe they had some special gas /spring combo to allow cycling. A pump would have been more believable.
Probably the dragons breath with the backing of pellets. Which do cycle and act like a regular shotgun shell. They make em like that, but they’re not the original style.

Dragon's breath shotgun scenes in john wick chapter 4 is insane and unique
Bird's eye view shots are amazing Extremely badass cool 💯
Best scene in the movie by far

With Dragons Breath being featured in JW, the already high price will skyrocket.
Warwolf ordnance won’t do that.
How do you think every single fandom collecting nerd feels about vintage merch ..lol
yeah :))
I paid $35 for 5 rounds and waited about 2 months to get it

The best fight sequence in the whole film. The way they shot that was genius.

Our Dragon's breath cycles in all semi auto shotguns.

out of curiosity, the answer in chapter four for the shotgun cycling might be a slightly weaker spring, or whatever it is that cycles the shell home. weaker spring or whatever would mean weaker forces acting against the empty casing, allowing it to cycle the weapon fully.
