Do all these videos relate to the topics? What revision should i do for history GCSE? What did you do to get a grade 9?
Yup the videos are all related to GCSE topics, and somewhere I have a very old video explaining what I did to get a grade 9 at GCSE which will give you a better answer than I could ever give here :)
So 3b is a PEEEEL paragraph essentially? Also for 3d why do we use the first interpretation? We are asked about 2?
I'd say 3b is more Point Quote Point Quote. And for 3d you use interpretation 1 as well as 2 because the line underneath the question says 'Explain your answer, using both interpretations and your knowledge of the historical context.' :)
That reminds me of my year 7 English teacher who literally added so many extra Es to PEED that he forgot what they meant!
What do you recommend including in your introduction section to 3d? Does it have to be detailed or is there a particular structure for it?
Any introductions at GCSE only really need to be a couple of sentences laying the basics down - kind of similar to what you'd do for the 16 markers on papers 1 and 2. :)

November mocks 2020 history paper 3, will these b the same questions?
Different schools set different mocks
For the 16 marker at the end, do you have to talk about a 3rd factor that is not mentioned in the interpretations. For example, for NSDAP growth between 1929-32 with the 2 interpretations of Hitler's charisma and the Great Depression, do i have to add a 3rd factor such as the role of propaganda or the SA, or do i just have to focus on th 2 interpretations and bring in contextual knowledge about those????
I'm not entirely sure off the top of my head, but I plan to do a proper video on this type of question at some point before the end of the year, so hopefully I'll be able to answer your question then! :)
A long, long time ago... Thank you! Would love that as it is mock period from next week. I’m predicted a 9 but there’s so much content and I feel scared that in the actual exam I’ll be asked a really difficult question that I don’t know how to answer.
@@chewypiano7194 I had the same worry - there's a lot of pressure when you have a YT channel about GCSE history, but it worked out fine in the end! Just keeping working hard and try to keep chill, it gets to a point where there's not much more you can do. :)

If I remember correctly it's meant to be ~1.5 minutes per mark, but I would double check that with your teacher as I'm not so across my GCSE facts anymore

Pleased you found it helpful! I've got to agree, Nazi Germany is fascinating (as is pretty much all of the rest of history too!!). A-level history is amazing btw. The content is really interesting (I do Modern Britain and Tsarist & Communist Russia), and also, I'm blessed with some pretty awesome teachers, which makes things even better. But even if you don't get lucky with teachers, content wise, it's fascinating! :)
