I love watching their bloopers and them laughing.... Playing around and goofing is great!🤘👏👏👏👺 2:08 Damn James I thought he was going to bust out into a slow delta blues roll.😊
@@victorthemusicman7243 James and Kirk actually Jammed alot during hardwired years, Kirks always been a chill guy in the studio but he was still in their all the music being made!
This is where the payoff comes. I am sure this is not easy. But. I am sure they can choose the difficulty settings on which they want to make a record so to speak. Unike Staanger
That's definitely something that a lot of people think but bottom line, they've proven themselves time and time again that they can make awesome music. They don't "need" to do anything really. They could just stop making music if they wanted to and retire. Instead, the way I see it, they make music now more for fun and because THEY want to which why I also think it takes such a long time for them to make an album now. It's not a necessity.
@@victorthemusicman7243 something like that but.... people will not come to their concert because of songs like Lux Aeterna or similar but because of their classics like Creeping death or One . so....we all know that they are mature people but they are remembered on very different music, not what they are making nowadays. when they were young, no one dared to mock them, now people mocking them because they were changed themselves so much . but it is what it is,it will come the day when they will stop touring for good and making music . I will stay with their classics,Death Magnetic was poorly mastered,St Anger was weird,Hardwired was mastered superb but it is not the type of album to listen every day. 72 seasons is not my cup of tea even few songs are decent like Too far gone and Room of mirrors but whole package is some new genre Metallica . anyway compliments for efforts for making a new material
that studio looks so cozy with the low lights and couches
Very Homy.
Quote my Dad: "Four dorks that make really good music."
Your dad has a good take on 'em.
0:18 James looks like Lars had been saying Kat Boom Boom for the entire 328 minutes on the computer
Watching making of Hardwired, made me appreciate this album even more, especially Spit out the Bone
Definitely
To be fair, Spit out the Bone is a banger of a track. I love almost that entire album, but that song is just amazing.
@@georgen5882 Definitely one of the top dogs of the album.
3:43 Ok those screams are just perfection.

lol they don't hang out with Kirk
Mainly came to the studio just to record the solos for Hardwired.
Kirk wasn't really invested into writing songs

Wait the song before moth into flame became moth was fire too
Not sure what you mean.
@@victorthemusicman7243 I think he means the demo version of Moth into Flame
3:32 is this in a song?
I don't think so. Pretty sure it was an early version of "Halo On Fire" but I could be wrong.
@@victorthemusicman7243 cool, that’s literally the only hardwired song I have only listened to once
Where is Kirk.
He mainly came to the studio just to record his solos and learn the songs.
Probably fixing his horror movie memorabilia collection

The funniest about Metallica in the studio is listening to the crap they release...
Debatable
@@victorthemusicman7243 yes indeed.
