This is my favorite tactile switches I have tried so far! I have AKKO Ocean Blue and Lavender, but the typing feeling on these are so much better to me. They are very light tactile switches, but you can still clearly feel the bump.

I've never imagined what "creamy" would sound like in audio form but you nailed it good job
the spacebar sounds heavenly! spent a lot with my budget keeb (gat milk yellows, krytox lube, stock rk stabs with grease, and countless mods) but it never did quite sound as creamy as this one!! good job!
i have a rk too and my spacebar sounds good enough. if you have the budget totally swap to a new set of stabs. RK stabs are just not really good at all
This vid inspired me to get into custom keyboards! I just bought a RK Royal Kludge (RK61) I also bought the same switches (Ajazz Banana), a Tokey Keycap Set, a kit for taking apart and living switches/stabilizers. And the lube. I’m excited to create the keyboard and I’m gonna do a full YT video on it! Thanks for the inspo!

@@chaseattaway7722 you would like to put a soft foam inside the case, which means, you would probably need to unscrew the board and be carefully not to do it so hard. You clip the stabs, and put some band aids to make it stable (search band aid mods for stabs on youtube), and you lube all switches (lube inside the stems for better result and deep, but you can also do lazy method for it). You can find a lot of videos showing you how to mod it. Good luck 🍀

thi sis more creamy than thocky but still sound really good!
i have these switches and I certainly wouldnt call them "light" tactile. they are slightly less tactile than my zykos like switches. they are much more tactile than any other switch ive used. Especially with 2 stage springs they are crazy sharp tactile
I would agree with you, maybe I used a wrong word to describe it. What I mean light here is the pressure weight, the bump is sharp, you're right.
I still heard some springy, but the sound so creamy after all, nicee buddy

Very fast rising, the fastest among my tactile switches (Akko Lavender, Blue). Also, similar weight as Akko Blue so it's easy to press.

I was looking at these but went with Matcha Green switches instead. I think I might grab a set of these to try though now after hearing that thock!

Most worth budget keyboard now. IMO its better than gk61x since its cheaper and arrow keys.

I’m not especially tech savvy and I don’t speak custom keyboard lingo yet but UA-cam keeps recommending me these sorts of keyboard sound videos and they make my brain do a thing 🤤 I really dislike standard ASMR type stuff but something about a nice keyboard just scratches an itch
I know I understand that, sometimes I don't like slime that much but it keeps popping up and the sound is just so relaxing it makes me sleepy 😂

I know this is a 2 year old video so maybe it's not relevant criticism for your channel anymore, but if I could give one critique it would be to isolate the microphone from other sound sources.
Yes we can hear the typing, but I'm also hearing a lot of noise from the table that you're typing on and that sound is vibrating directly up through the mic stand and it's clouding the sound a bit. I think having a floor stand for the mic or a desk mounted arm with the isolation ring mount for the mic would do wonders for improving sound quality and really hearing what the keyboard sounds like without any other noises invading the audio. Good video though! Thanks for making it!

The desk you're typing can cause an echo hollow sound. Very noticeable when I typed on an ikea desk (extremely hollow inside) vs their countertop which I use for desks now

Probably shouldn’t lube your tactile with as heavy a lube as superlube or any switch in fact but still sounds great. Thick lube will decrease tactility
Yes, you're right. I lubed it, but not too much so you can still hear its tactile sound. Actually, this switch is super tactile imo but feels so good typing on these

There are some boards that you can swap 3 pin switches for $20, then about $20 for some decent switches. Prolly around $40 for a custom keyboard. You can always save it up ⬆️

Absolutely love the sound and singlehandedly making me get into custom keyboards. Except I need a numpad. any recommendations for a keyboard thats 96-100%? Or what should I be looking for in a keyboard/case to get that sound?
Also - what's a holee?
For a budget one, you can get RK100
Holee mod is a mod for stabilizers, you can search it up, there are many tutorial videos about it

If you want decent stabs to use right away, go with the Cherry Plate Mount or Everglide Panda. Otherwise, you can just do some mods with stocks stabs and if you get it done well, that'll be more than enough for you. You can try out band aid and holee mod for stabs

@@SuzieB23 yes, the shift key is in the weird size, but I got lucky that I bought that keycap set, which included that shift keycaps.

DId you have special settings for the razer seiren mini? your mic sounds really clear without any background noise.
Actually, the setup for the razer seiren at that time is fairly poor. I put it on a phone holder ON the desk, so you can hear a lot of sound vibrates from the desk.
I suggest you to put it on a boom arm, and use some OBS audio filters to make it sound better.
You can check my recent videos which I fixed some issues with the razer already.

For those of you saying this sounds over-lubed. it doesn't. It sound over filtered. There is a very obvious low-pass filter on this audio and it makes me cringe.
Yes, you're not wrong. By the time I filmed this video, I was still using OBS and had a lot of filters on it. This was not a good audio at all, but somehow still captured the sound at least 60% of it. So yea.. thanks by the way
