This is the deepest sound I have heard on Q9. I don't know if it's the mic but it's really attractive in comparison. And it's stock with lubing and tape only.

I know this is a 2 year old video so maybe it's not relevant criticism for your channel anymore, but if I could give one critique it would be to isolate the microphone from other sound sources. Yes we can hear the typing, but I'm also hearing a lot of noise from the table that you're typing on and that sound is vibrating directly up through the mic stand and it's clouding the sound a bit. I think having a floor stand for the mic or a desk mounted arm with the isolation ring mount for the mic would do wonders for improving sound quality and really hearing what the keyboard sounds like without any other noises invading the audio. Good video though! Thanks for making it!

Yes, very nice keyboard. My daily driver. Easy to use if you set the activation of the num layer to the left spacebar and have the numberpad in the middle (TYUGHJBNMK), and then just use another keycap color on the numpad.

I don't really buy a pre-built anymore, especially 40% keyboard. But I just saw this keyboard on Keychron website a few days ago, and it looks super good, I have AKKO TOP 40 as my main daily driver, so I wanted to try another 40% to see how it's like. It's better than I expected! All CNC body, I only lube and mod a little bit on this keyboard. That's it. Good buy.

Not used to seeing compact boards with arrow keys, very cool.

Do you prefer the keychron to Akko, I see the big difference being the nob and arrow keys. akko 40 is probably a bit much for most people, I already have the Q2 pro, don't really mind the wire and have always been interested in something even smaller and more minimalistic.

I dunno how I only now discovered you (UA-cam has been hiding you from me!) but your vids are great. You make the Q1 look so cool. I got these keycaps separately for my Womier K98 as my daily driver. Great to type on but I've been hesitant to make videos of it because I thought the keycaps looked kinda lacklustre. But you make them really eye-catching, so you've inspired me! Thanks for the great sound test vids. Keep 'em coming ☺️

Keyboard is not that cheap: it's just all these low production volume group buy boards are crazy expensive. Even aluminium boards can be had for below $150 nowadays. 😉
