@@michaelburton Did the two bolts come out ok for you? On the surface my bracket looks pretty good. I might spray some penetrant on the top of the bracket threads the night before. There is no way to secure the bracket from the top so it doesn't move around when using an impact right? It looks circular.
@@kckrol85 i used an impact and one of the "nuts" broke off and was stuck on the bolt so i had to use a bolt splitter to remove it and buy new bolts and the plate. If yours has any rust buy a new plate first just in case. Or soak the end of the bolt well before removing and break it loose with a breaker bar first..my impact is one speed so it destroys stuff 😂
2013 fusion titanium AWD. I just replaced all shocks\struts and front end links. I am still hearing a noise when i go over a bump. It is not loud but i am thinking the control arms need to be replaced as well. I hear a slight almost like a bounce on the suspension. Very slight. What are your thoughts on this. Sound is front end. Also happens if i turn hard left or right.
If the ball joint is worn it will usually squeak or grind and it will definitely wiggle around at higher speed and the wheel will wander back and forth, especially on bumps or lips in the pavement.
My ford I heard a sound when going over bumps like metal like sound and it turns out the shocks we got were a little too small so the nut 🔩 would wiggle lol 😂
I've been trying for two days to get the two that hold the arm to the frame off, they are rusted on to all hell. Hopefully after another day of soaking they break loose, and not break apart the clamp like they did on the other side where I had to saw them off and replace them.
Yeah I had no problem getting the thing out My car is at 2020 and everything still so damn brand new so I got 10,000 mi so didn't have no problem getting it out I was having trouble getting it back in with the new one but I didn't have no problem after I used persuasion ie rubber mallet And a 2x4 lol
The chain and rebar trick is great. I fought with that so much replacing my last one.

Hey, Do the two bolts thread into the sway bar bracket....the nut is kind of built into that bracket?
@@kckrol85 yes unfortunately which is stupid af on ford's part. It's about 20$ for a new plate. It rusts pretty easily
