Thank you so much Charlie for this wonderful video. The views were so breath taking I had to rewind and watch it again a couple of times so I could envelop it. You are so Blessed to live in all that beauty.
Absolutely beautiful scenery. Great job filming Charlie. You can see what the colonists must of saw their first walk up. Cool cat rock. Thank you Charlie for sharing your Not Thursday hike with us. Joyce ❤️🇺🇸🙏
Wow you may have been walking in the foot steps of my ancestors. My father's family eventually settled in Swanzey sometime in the mid 1700's after arriving from England in the 1600's and settling in Boston for a time, I imagined that cellar hole that you found to maybe have been their homestead. This hike you did gave me a small picture into my past thanks.
Thanks Charlie as you may know I'm not from this area but I love your video's I have learn alot from your video's in how people live in this area. I would love too do in what you do but I just don't the area and I do my best too play it safe . But this video' I'm going hopefully I can take the rest of my family i know my grandkids would love it they both enjoy hikes like this and doesn't look too ruff of a hike Thanks
I hiked this twice when I was a teenager and lived on that side of the state. Now I'm enjoying the East side of NH. There are so many trails, mountains, and the ocean on this side! But when I do visit the West side I always enjoy it😊NH is the best!
Thanks I enjoyed the hike and the commentary. Here in Oregon, I do a lot of exploring the hills and mountains in my area. Where's the place to get information on local homesteads? Thanks
Thank you for sharing the beautiful scenery with me !
Gorgeous day

Just wonderful you get to actually see on video of where your family lived in the 16-1700's. That is so cool!!

Great day Charlie love the history of your videos stay blessed and cool👍
Hey Charlie happy happy thanks
That view is well worth the walk
Mt. Caesar in Swanzey reminds me of Mt. Bog in Wilmot (NH). Great reward for a relatively small amount of effort. I love NH.
Nice hiking tour on a beautiful day. Thanks for that!
Thanks for sharing
Man, what a beautiful day for a hike in the New Hampshire woods.

Where's the place to get information on local homesteads? Thanks
north side easier is due to "glacial plucking". See Monadnock & Mt Monroe
for good examples.
LFOD !
I was up there last week and found a 1912 half dollar.
Well I guess the old time settlers named it after where I live here in the U.K., Swansea
How is ol Lou 🤣
