In the woods the wild creatures dwell, but Charlie goes and takes us there as well. And in those moments through the ferny wood, all is peace, and happiness, and good!
Thank you Charlie for another lovely woodland ramble.

we would be a good hiking match always uphill first ,get vantage, lay of land, and altitude, then as much horizontal time as the terrain allows, with a controlled decent as energy burns low, keeping an eye on your P.N.R. and pushing just to that each time, and then getting self and team back, its as much as can be done on any good exploration. good wander through the woods, Ramble on, thanks for sharing your not Thursday, and ...live free or die !! S.D.N. !!

What a wonderful hike through the forest Charlie, its very hot here and I have imagined walking with you and breathing in the fresh air, and the smells of the forest all earthy and clean. I loved hearing the birds and the dry leaves crunching under your feet as you walked along. The only other place I felt such peace was by a river or a stream with nobody in sight or hearing distance. To me that is sheer bliss, I'm terrible with a lot of people about, give me the fresh air rather than the smell of people any day lol. It would be interesting to see if the homesite has been detected in the past, can you detect there? Thank you for taking us along with you Charlie, I lose myself in your videos and my mind is with you not lying here being careful not to move too much and cause me pain, to me that is a real gift my friend and one I appreciate so much. God bless you sweetheart and good luck Mary-Ellen LFOD

I went there with my wife a few years back and we went straight up the mountain, it was challenging some parts. Sitting dead center of a steep cliff we found an unusual rock formation. What it was I'm not sure, when we reached the top and it was it was a spectacular view but there was no was to climb down the other side because it was steep and thick, we went to the right from there and explored for a while and came upon rock wall formation that was weird, it was several rocks walls forming square shape patterns the walls were 3 to 4 ft high and ran a good 100ft maybe more on all four sides with rock walls separating the inside part. It was neat. I thought maybe it was an old fort of some kind? I think the easiest way to find it again would be to follow an old dry creek that run up towards it then go left when we reach the top because that is how we found our way out. We got lost and ended up about a mile or more up the road from the vehicle at the parking lot of madame sherri's. Whatever the place we found was had to be something huge, I just don't know what it could have been. Hopefully I can get back there one day. We live in Florida so it's not easy..

New to the channel, but so far I love it. Sometimes you refer to a path/trail as a cart path. I’ve not heard that term, what exactly are you referring to? Thank you

2:33 that little off-shoot, could it have been like a circle drive (in it's day) up to a house from the main road and then back to the main road?
