I was called at 4 years old. I had dreams of Jesus with outstretched hands and asking me, "will you help Me care for My people?". I immediately answered yes, but just before I turned 8, I told my grandparents that I had to take care of my mother. The dreams stopped at that point. I have taken care of my mother and acquired two Doctorates and two Master's Degrees. I wouldn't give up my blessed time with my mother for anything. Honor thy father and thy mother. God does not say to dump your elderly parents, and come follow me.
Prayers and wishes for presbyters! May you all take and follow the words of Pope Francis: be rooted in Jesus Christ-don't forget to pray; stay close to the people you serve by smelling like the sheep-you are to serve not lord over them, avoid careerism and clericalism-don't get any sense of clergy entitlement and superiority over the laity, continuously read and study especially the scriptures so that you always deliver quality homilies, be attuned to and apply the reforms and teachings of Vatican II-don’t appear like liturgical clowns by desiring grandmother laces and guitar shaped vestments. In light of the ongoing crisis and scandal: don’t be enticed and get trapped in the "frociaggine" (the adjective used by Pope Francis) subculture of the gay lavender mafia within the clergy which is at the root of and operation of the homosexual predation sex abuse scandal by the clergy and cover up by bishops.
no homosexual priests, but evil doers who take advantage of the priesthood from the very beginning. they are like snakes pretending to be something they are not
What are you talking about? Because,we do have some bad priests, yes , we do , but we do have wonderful priests and people than make the calling to serve others with love and respect.
Being homosexual is not a sin but the act is. There are bad apples in every bunch. You should pray that the men who are called to the priesthood will be healed from this life style. You should also pray that perhaps someday the church will permit married priests. Yes, this lifestyle cannot be tolerated amongst our Priests. However, to say a high percentage are gay is a strong statement. Perhaps you should pray about this.
You do realize that some people are exploiting the generosity and resources of the church in order to these heinous acts. this is the work of evil, not God
@@d-hg5jy yes, you are correct. I was am altar boy while I was young. No Priest ever came close to abusing me or violated me. With that said, the Catholic Church cannot tolerate this condition in the Church. Safe guards must be in place and accountability must be adhered too at all times. The abusers must be removed promptly, and receive appropriate counseling. They should never be cover ups by the Bishops or higher authorities. Much pray and over site must be adhered too. It’s part of sin and why we all need to stay close to Jesus Christ. As humans, Priests or not, we all struggle with sin. Jesus, please keep us in close union with the Father. Thank you God for your Grace.
God bless the newly ordained!
Lord, Son of God, have mercy on these men and you lead them and all they will shepherd to Jesus. Amen ✝️

Do one called "The Money to Heed the Call". Becoming a priest is not free. Many cannot afford it.
Continuation of the high percentage of homosexual priests
