@@BoatBuyersSecretWeapon Apologies for the hasty question. What I meant was, when in this video at about 12:45 you talk about price negotiation tactics at a boat show, I understood that by the $7.000 you meant the sales reps personal "fee" or reward for the sale, and if he/she was willing to lower their "pay" in order to make the sale. That made me curious of, how much usually is this "fee" or "cut". I would assume it's a % of some sort.
Well done good info!! I missed the shows this year and have been checking w/dealers about pricing on aluminum fishing boats (20k range). With all that's going on they don't seem to be wanting to deal on 2020 boats and finding a 2019 is not happening. Maybe Ill wait until the shows come around again.

Great video for the upcoming boat owners. Do you're homework and know what you need, it's all out there. Thanks Capt for making it real.
I do appreciate all this info. Your channel is underrated. I plan to do this in spring of 2022. Thank you for all the info
What would be a typical cut for a 100K boat? I'd think your example of 7K would be for a little more expensive one?

I wish you would redo this with better audio. Sounds like you are in a tin can.
