    If I had a nickel for every time my harvester killed Yuno's MCV, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. 0:28 9:46
    8:50 also here, one of the sickle’s third gun was nearly out of range hence not firing. Was wondering how the harvester won the match-up. (Or maybe sickle can only focus two guns on one target at the same time? Need to confirm when I make that guide)

      8:50 That's true. The angle of the machine guns in 130 degrees each, which results in that behaviour. 2 guns per target is max.

      Forgot to thank you for showing us how to defend against cryo using Sputnik, gonna try this strat after I will beat the first RA3 boss - technical difficulties

    Oof, I always thought Allied Harvesters were the worst but you're right. Economically speaking, they're far and away the most efficient of the Harvesters. Imperial Harvesters have their guns and Soviet Harvesters have their shields, but the Allied Harvester's special ability is costing nearly a fifth of every other faction's Harvesters. Christ.

      I think the sole reason for this is to off set that the ally prospector is used to expand territory, but the real issue is I never used the Russian's harvester's armor and the Japanese uh I only used it for laughs but only once or twice, the ally harvester is like the only one who I will see out in the field, the others I will only see after razing the base.

      @@Tucher97 Me though, I use the Soviet and Rising Sun Collector's special ability only when their respective Refinery is destroyed...
      (Soviet) Activate Reactive Armor, use Toxic Corrosion on it, instant crawling Demo Truck...
      (Rising Sun) Activate Security System, set on Aggressive Stance, "try" to kill anything for payback...

      @@louievelayo4100 That is a good thought but the way I play I usually have like 2 turrets in the area, but I meant I wish the harvesters were more useful or atleast more stand out like their red alert 2 counter parts. Sure hte allie ore collector can still expand territory, maybe the soviet's deploys armor automatically when getting attacked, the japanese collector, not sure.

      @@RedAlert3Uprising Yeah, but they can turn into a command hub, which I would say has an equal value of the other two factions' harvesters' abilities. You can turn it into a command hub, sell it, deploy to get radius for turrets etc.

      @@kakoiniksvoboden I get your point but turning it into a command hub means you have lost the harvester and have to build another, losing mining time and money in the process (don't forget that the deployed harvester is damaged and needs to be repaired/sold which costs/gives less money), even so 400$ cheaper may still not be balanced but who am I to say it's unbalanced, only someone like xyhc could calculate this...I guess he probably agrees that 1000$ is a little too cheap, maybe if it was 1200$...

      @@RedAlert3Uprising Don't forget, when selling a command hub, you also get a free peace keeper, which costs 200. I think that is plenty of advantages, that allied harvester provides, that other factions' harvester don't have, so it would imo be fair. But for an absolutely fair balance patch, a more thorough analysis should be made, I agree.

      @@RedAlert3Uprising Also, I would argue, that allied harvesters are not completely defenseless. They can crush infantry. And paired with a cryocopter they can fend off some attacks.

    I still remember when I first played RA3 I made a ton of harvesters out of habit. I finally realized economy system is different in this game when I saw the massive congestion later.

    From the video, I feel like the limiting factor is the ore node, so if you have one collector with some ore that you want to get rid of, it's better to let it dump the ore it has first. Also, this probably means shrunken collectors don't make you more money since again, the node is the limiting factor.
    Also, thanks for telling us about the exploits, some people only play single player and would like to lame the ai sometimes.

    Sputnik is so OP... I think as soon as deployed, it automatically gathers any ressources on the map and all enemy armies explode on the spot globally. Sputnik also is the only vehicle that can crush MCVs and naval units on water.
    Legend says if you see sputnik on a twinblade, the twinblade is NOT carrying sputnik. No, sputnik is carrying the twinblade.
    When sold, sputnik does not leave a recruit but a Yuriko, no matter how many Yurikos you already have.
    When I get a russian opponent, I leave the game imediately.

    Your guide vids caught my interest about red alert 3. Do you think it would be worth to make guide about the standard units like guardian tank, destroyer/dreadnought or aircraft carrier?

      @@xyhc-cnc okay then. And thanks to you, i gave REd alert 3 a try, even tried to apply your infantry tactics and such. I really wish there was normal way to heal infantry, like you can di vehicles with the drones of factorires. Would make infantry more easier/valid to use

    I wonder can you make a video about how the secondaries of the Hammer tanks work as another unit guide. I always use AA secondaries like Flaks or Rockets on my hammer tanks to protect my outposts from the pesky cryocopters and I'm surprised not many people knows that a soviet player can sacrifice (via the grinder) their own vehicle to give the hammer tank a secondary gun

      @@xyhc-cnc do note btw in co op if someone is using a faction that isn't soviet and is the teammate of a soviet player they can give the Hammer tanks secondaries by letting their soviet teammate to force attack let's say an allies Guardian Tank and send the guardian to the grinder giving the Allies player a refund and giving the soviet player a Hammer tank with a guardian secondary gun

      And yeah same goes to the most deadly land base AA that I know. The hydrofoil Hammer tank a Hammer tank using the Hydrofoil gun.

    I was doing a challenge and trying to figure if barracks first to get oil oil derricks made more money then after 1 refinery as allies. You make more, way more if there is two derricks you plan on getting.

      Good to know, never tested that myself.
      And for sure, always fight for oil immediately unless you're rushing for something specific, or going air as Allies. It's not just about the money - It's about map control.

    X you need to rethink the harvester video. There is a distance thing to harvesters much like Generals supply mechanic. So you can chain or distance refineries to increase economy as well at the expense of node depletion rate.

      I experimented with different ref placements with different harv counts. The pre-defined placement position with a single harv is the optimal.

    the logic behind the Allies prospector being 1000$ still baffles me...the balance patch of giga-buffing allies was the biggest patches mistake ever!

    Ah X you overlooked someþing: an ore collector, upon being selected, can be immediately sent back towards þe ore node before reaching þe refinery, it might not be viable, but maybe yet is in low eco games.
