    CLOTHING AFTER A WASHING...RESULTS:
SPRING using AS color (expensive) good color & feel; 1st wash: faded and cracked; 2nd wash: worse; after 3rd wash/dry: terrible
TEEPUBLIC a bit scratchy, good color; 1st wash: colors faded and cracking; 2nd wash: failed; after 3rd wash/dry: not best, but not worst
*AMZ nice color, some bleed out the box; 1st wash: came out good; 2nd wash: good; after 3rd wash/dry: perfect
*MOTIF cheapest, colors ok; 1st wash: came out good; 2nd wash: "perfect" he said, but colors are lighter from getgo imo; after 3rd wash/dry: good
REDBUBBLE (most expensive) nice color; 1st wash: colors faded and cracking; 2nd wash: worse; after 3rd wash/dry: terrible
*PRINTFUL colors ok, good clear print; 1st wash: came out good; 2nd wash: "perfect" he said, but colors are light from getgo imo; after 3rd wash/dry: did very well
P.S. he mispoke at 18:03...I think he meant to say "passed" instead of "failed".

@18:03 I think that he said it right.. "those all three failed" pointing towards the other t-shirts...
it is a bit unfortunate and unclear at first, but that's how I understood his comment...
those that hevsaid the names (printiful, amz and motif) passed, those other ones (rb, tp, spr) failed.. 🤔🙂

I'm sure they'll be the usual nonsense responses from the companies saying it's a one off or you've washed it wrong. Truth be told this is literally bottom of the barrel printing. I have t-shirts that have lasted me between 5 - 15 years and still have a design on, i have some heatpress, some screen printed and there all absolutely fine. If this happens on the 1st or 2nd wash then it's all over sadly. Shoddy cheap printing from multi million pound companies is pretty sad, they could fix this with just buying better ink.

I think you should do another test where each company prints on the same style/brand garment. That way the only variables you have are the different print methods, and companies. Then you will have a true test based on the print alone. Also you will get to see if any company has improved on their prints since your last test.

@@shimmymorris1 Your videos are a valuable asset. I ordered a sample shirt using "words" on a shirt. The long of the short, unless it is "words" on a white shirt, people need to order a sample. I printed letters, a good size, of different colors and most had a cracked look, and the colors are off. Not true to color. Silk Screening has been and still is KING when it comes to printing on tshirts.

I started with Printful and was using them a lot, literally all the T-shirts that ARE NOT ALL OVER PRINT crack after drying. they hold up perfectly after every wash, but when you dry them hey fall apart. The all over T shirts r the best n Printful. but when it comes to hoodies and t shirts with normal print, the print never last.

The washing/drying labels will be sewn into the seams of these blank T-shirts before any printing. The T-shirts manufacturer may not know what their buyer (the POD co) is using to print. I would write on my POD page that I would advise buyers to wash on 30° and to not tumble dry, just to be on the safe side. I’d imagine these POD companies test this out themselves, but see the peeling off designs here for example, it looks like they don’t.

This is helpful thanks. I’d be curious about a deeper dive investigating why there’s such a difference. Is it the printing method or the ink used? There’s a clear difference in these results so the companies are clearly making different choices. An Inkthreadable sweatshirt I ordered was really bad after a couple of washes, which made us sad as their eco credentials were so good otherwise. Are the eco inks not sticking as well? But having clothes which last has to be seen as an important eco factor surely?

@@arielsofa7641 Each rapper singer (or whatever person) does have rights over their brand, their artistic production and even over their name and public image (ie, even a photo of their face, even if taken by you!). If you would get a special (written and signed) deal/contract with them, giving you rights to earn money using their image, products image, name or personal image, and specifying details like where can you publish, how many copies, etc.... then yep. But it is not the case, it seems. And for any artist/company is super easy to put down any product using their logo/artist photo/brand/name, etc. I mean, is forbidden even if you wouldn't monetize it in any way. It's just that for fans/fan pages when there's no income, most often the brands and companies don't take action, but once one starts selling t-shirts or other merchandise using _anything_ of them, that gets put down. Often is not even by them, but a company who own their image rights or etc.
