The BIW must have a father. The father is likely an evil entity that sacrificed his kids life, such as man in yellow. I think the prev massacre, was explained due to the release of the monsters following the sacrifice. But after the talesmen are in play, the MIY could be to blame for the next massacre, which seems to be starting.
Martin is Boyd ( many incarnations in the future) who has managed to gather Intel and knows how to kill the entity. He was imprisoned ( soul removed from the story) after they realized what he was doing, that's why he mentioned Abby. He only wanted to die by passing his soul to Boyd while giving the the memories (intel) on events and how to kill the entity. Boyd will remember his past lives memories moving forward and go on the offensive in season four and five. So essentially, the logistics man figured out how to deliver the package to the right person at the right time.
Excellent analysis! I LOVE those new names: Tabiranda and Jristopher!! 🤣🤣👍 SO FUNNY! Anyway, here are a few things I noticed (great catch on the second Mabuse, btw): When my beloved Smiley returned (WOOOO!!!), he was standing up in this red, jellyfish-like sack. So, I think that giant red monster in the cave drawings is a depiction of what the monsters look like before they are reborn. However, since it was HUGE, maybe it was the Man in Yellow in his true form showing the original townspeople that he can, in fact, give them immortality. The white stick figures surrounding the 7 sacrificial stones are probably the monsters before they turned into monsters, and the two white stick figures that are separate from the group are probably the original Jade and Tabitha. Once they sacrifice their children, you see them as red stick figures on the other side. They seem to be gathered under what looks to be the root cellar (see cave drawing picture). This makes sense because Smiley was resurrected in the cave underneath the root cellar. Again, we see the two separate white stick figures: original Jade and Tabitha!
After Smiley died, how soon did they come up with that plan to bring him back? Remember, they just walked away. And coincidence Smiley is the only monster we've seen run, die, and come back to life
Im gonna say it...not impressed with this season. The whole reincarnation angle is BS. Still basic questions not answered just more layers of mystery on top of layers of questions. To be honest i thought Jim was gonna croak it thr way hes been portrayed the last half of the season...would have preferred the man in yellow to have killed Tabitha
Everyone keeps pointing out that he ran but I think ALL of them can run. They used to be human. They choose not to run. It’s a game to terrorize and hunt them. They want to see the fear so they play games. That female monster made out with the colony house guy before killing him. The grandma walked swiftly thru the hall chasing Julie and Ethan. I don’t think he ran because she was at the tree not because he has some special power.
Mirabatha gave us the monsters’ origins with is crazy. The fact that Ethan is able to flat out tell Julie her role in all of this was also crazy. There’s a chance that the end of the episode wasn’t the first time we saw future Julie. Some of the bad things we have seen across the the seasons may have been because of her time traveling.
Now I have my tinfoil hat on. What if Julie time-traveled and made it back to the real world and wrote The Cromenockle book to help Ethan help her? I'm just thinking out loud and wondering how he knows about Storywalking and other things. This show makes my head spin!
@@lindawebb5379I think that’s a bit of a stretch. Why go through all that trouble. I feel like Julie isn’t the kind of person to make mystery clues to solve. She’d be more direct.
Omg! Nailed it as always Anthony! So Julie's time travelled several times trying to change the story (her dad dying)... She'd probably go into the ruins to try to change the past. The short hair shows it's been more than once. Are Randall and Marielle story walkers too? 🤔
I think Randall is Martin. The beard hides his scar. He must story walk and eventually gets captured. And he having a vendetta towards boyd infects him with the worms that in turn become the cicadas that infest him
@sunnysidesouffle8348 worms (lava) that mature into cicada... But I don't think Randall knows about Abby like Martin did... How does these all connect?! Thinking of a connection between the ritual, the ruins, the monsters, kimono lady????, the reincarnation, the children, how does Smiley's born again(lived differently (could run), death and resurrection save them... Elgin wasn't lying afterall 🤥
I've been thinking about this show all day...lol! After much thought, I believe the From series is a another of many modern retellings of ancient Egyptian mythology. This idea struck me when Sara gouged out Elgin's eye. The name El suggests divinity, and I think Elgin symbolizes Horus. In Egyptian mythology, Seth gouges out Horus's left eye, paralleling Sara's actions. Seth also kills his brother, again aligning with Sara. Boyd, whose name means "yellow," clearly represents Ra, the sun god and life-sustainer. Boyd enables the townspeople's survival and battles chaos-symbolized by the man in yellow and his monsters-in the underworld (the town) at night, just as Ra fights Apep in Duat (the underworld) at night. Tabitha represents Isis, the goddess of family, while Jim aligns with Osiris, Isis's husband and protector. Victor embodies Thoth, the keeper of knowledge and secrets, and recorder of events. I can show so many more parallels. Given Jim's symbolic role as Osiris, I know Season 4 will be intense. In the myths, Osiris's death triggers major events, so Jim's death probably will too. I can't wait!
I get being Confused how Victor doesn’t remember the important things. But he was a kid alone for 40years with more trauma than the Teletubbies. He found if he forced himself to forget he wouldn’t be sad anymore. It happens in real life all the time minus the 40years alone in fromville lol
Jim was a good guy. It's so annoying how everyone hates on him. He just wanted to protect his family. His wife was never loving or affectionate with him. She also always dismissed his feelings.
Yes. Everyone who is missin an eye now is tied into this moment. The guy drink blood had a messed up eye, and so did the confederate soldier from season 1.
It's a story about good versus evil. The good is the boy in white. Evil is the man in yellow. I believe the person who told the story to the children that gave them hope, the hope that turned into the roots of the tree was the boy in white. The man in yellow doesn't control everything in that world. I believe the talismans came from the boy in white. The man in yellow lost control of the world because of the hope of the children that created the roots of the tree. The entity doesn't feed on hope. That's a lie the entity told Boyd before he broke the music box. The entity feeds off of anger, fear, hate. The man in yellow killed Jim because he was angry that Tabitha and Jade remembered. It was the price paid for the knowledge Tabitha and Jade just received by remembering who they were
I still don’t get how the people that end up in Fromville are determined. Are they automatically drawn there due to experiencing traumatic life events?
17:14 Boyd is saying that that’s his house that they were going to, but there’s no boat there, but in Boyd’s memory, he never saw the house with the boat. They surprised him with the boat on the way there.
victor is also mentally and emotionally stunted....i also feel like many MANY years being there has all those memories suppressed...that happens in real life, with people who have trauma Edit: also, with eloise, he said he didnt know, because they were only pieces, and her face wasnt there...did you even watch it? he buried who he believed to be his sister
Jim came in clutch to solve the bottle tree numbers....RIP Jim. He pissed off Man in Yellow by helping solve the mystery. I think Man in Yellow will hang Jim's dead body from the bottle tree...as a warning to the town just like in Tabitha's and Jade's visions. Breaking Bad Boyd can use Elgin as a scape goat for Tilly's murder and Fatima's kidnapping.
10:16 I wonder if Fatima had given birth at the C House for instance during the day…would they have been able to kill baby Smiley? Once they saw it was a cocoon and not a baby, could they have killed it before he grew full size? It didn’t take long. Or could he only be born in the darkness? Dang you Elgin!!
I think the people who are killed out of balance can come back. So kind of like if the monsters jump turns. Or when they die they can choose a benefit for the residents so Tian Chen chose food but Khatri wanted to stay and advise Boyd. That's why Sara cut out Toby's tongue because he probably would've chosen to advise Jade
When Julie popped up at the end with the short hair saying I think this is when this happens and she said something about seeing if she can change the story, I think that’s the first time she goes back to the ruins and time travels technically the second time
I'm with you @lasagnabeans4656! I think the Julie at the end is a much more experienced "story walker" and has been trying to change things for a while. The key thing is I bet she needs to find what small things she can change that will have a big impact on the future, like when she threw the rope to Boyd
I still think there’s a reason why the creature that was egging Elgin on, and that was in the room with Fatima is dressed in a kimono. None of the other monsters are dressed in Japanese attire.
But why see the man in yellow now?? Is it bc Jim figured out the musical notes? That would be my guess. Knowledge comes at a cost... but if that's true why only now? And the MIY, BIW, Komo lady can all appear any time of the day they want to.
@@agatastevens Maybe the music is very important. Because Jim isn't the only one got answers. Why not kill Boyd a long time ago, he found the talisman?
Not sure if I commented on the video before. After this s03e10, I was thinking when rewatching - Julie heard screams until she was in the ruins, after that no screaming , Randal hear bugs, cicadas, maybe if he do something too he will stop hearing it. My theory now is that they hear stuff when they are not following the script of the time loop/time paradox. things need to happen because they happened already. If you understand what I am saying.
Now that Jim died in the daytime; Boyd doesn't have to tell the town that Fatima killed Tillie. Maybe they will stop suspecting a fellow town member for her murder.
Yes!! It’s giving, can you let my daughter be in the show 😂 Them keeping her first name concealed must mean something. Maybe she will have a bigger role in S4
I don’t think that everything in the town is trying to hurt them. There are things that are trying to help them, but unfortunately, they have to figure out which is which and what they’re being told to do.
When Tabitha was in the hospital and she looked out the window, her reflection was that of a young blond girl. I was confused that they never brought that up. Now I think I understand, if I'm correct. Now that we know that Tabitha was there from the beginning, I think the reflection is her original self, before the reincarnations. I also think that Jade's music playing, is what brought the man in yellow. Just like the music box, every time the music stops playing, something terrible happens. The man in yellow made it a point to say how good Jade's music playing is.
Why is it that Miranda and Christopher are the only ones reincarnated? And if the evil entity doesn't want the children saved; why do they keep letting them back into Fromland?
Jade, Tabitha/Christopher and Miranda are the only reincarnated ones because like Tabitha said they were there from the beginning. they are part of the original community and are the only ones that did not willingly sacrificed their own child. they were the ones who sang the children lullabies and the ones who gave them hope the same hope that the children used to pour in the roots of that trees, probably that hope made the original couple (Jade and Tabitha) reincarnated. it's their form of immorality. unlike the other townsfolk that obtained their immortality in a twisted way becoming the monsters. the children's power of hope is the one that keeps the reincarnation on happening, they are different powers. good and bad if you will. the evil entity can't do something about it, it can only stop the process of making the "reincarnated couples" from saving the children.
Is it just me or did Kenny say acosta's first name when she busted in the house and heard Boyd upstairs torturing Elgin? I coulda swore Kenny called her Danny or something I'll have to rewatch it
Now I wonder if Fatima and Elgin will have some type of connection with Smiley. Because Fatima birthed him and Elgin supplied his own blood. We'll see!
Initially I thought Fatima is going to convert into a creature. Then they showed the pregnancy angle and they said no baby. Again I thought she is going to become a creature. Then they added a twist with Komo lady n then I thought maybe the baby would be a devil destined to rule this world. But they made a smiley of that baby😂
I agree. If it was future Julie, she would appear older, even just a little. Maybe the new haircut was supposed to portray maturity but I don’t see it. Also, I don’t see any salons in fromville, how did she dye her hair much darker black, than her natural brown? I thought it when I watched this scene. That’s Julie, but not our timelines Julie
@@Belle-hi4blcoffee grounds I think can be used as temporary hair dye. Also, someone could've packed some hair dye in their luggage. Who knows? Also, also, I think Julie cuts her hair out of grief when she hears about what happens to Jim
Okay, but who was the granny monster’s kid? How did she end up with a young one to sacrifice lol? She looks ancient. I figured the sacrificed kids were all supposed to be pretty young.
I think the boy in white got jaded (ha!) by being too direct with the residents due to Christopher rejecting his instruction in the previous round. I think the BiW is now letting the residents mostly figure things out on their own so that they are more receptive when he finally does choose to get involved
Also for the reincartion timelines not lining up...like Tabitha couldnt have been born AFTER Miranda dies, cause look at the age of Victor and his Dad(if someone is trying to say time works differently in Fromville)...I think the spirits of the original people of the town are time travelers. And two people can exist at the same time with the same spirit in them. Hence Tabitha was a child seeing the dreams of the town, while Miranda was alive still in the town doing what her spirit has been trying since the earliest time of the town and the sacrifice. Hence the overlap in the years in the light house. There was only 30 years in some cases
Smiler is an OG villain. All the antagonists are incredibly well designed, acted and used in the show. They are archetype villains. Exceptional work by all involved.
Maybe the lady cop in a reincar of elouise. The bogies allowed her an henry to remain and elimnated the two emts. Dani is there for a reason and I don't think to replace boyd either. I know this a bit over the top.
Hey so this is something I noticed on the first scene of this episode…it’s very subtle butttt in that map of the town that’s given a closeup view (Boyd and Kenny Scene) there is a moving truck with the first word scratched off. Pretty sure it was supposed to say “Rendez-move” but Rendez was cut off. I little Easter egg I presume.
So..lets say what Boyds wife said about having to die in order to wake up was true..imagine in season 4, we get to see that from Jim's perspective...waking up in the real world. Also, what ever happened to the dog? Or was the dog actually the boy in white?

Martin is Boyd ( many incarnations in the future) who has managed to gather Intel and knows how to kill the entity. He was imprisoned ( soul removed from the story) after they realized what he was doing, that's why he mentioned Abby. He only wanted to die by passing his soul to Boyd while giving the the memories (intel) on events and how to kill the entity. Boyd will remember his past lives memories moving forward and go on the offensive in season four and five. So essentially, the logistics man figured out how to deliver the package to the right person at the right time.
I like Martin being Boyd, makes sense
Why didn't future Julie know that all she had to do was tell Jim that Tabitha was hurt or in danger and he would come running to town?
She probably thought he would just come with her because she's his daughter
Lmao! so true
Because nothing is ever that simple in Fromville.
She was so scared of her dad dying, she didn’t have a plan on how to get him running.
Because Future Julie is apparently just of slow as present Julie and still speaks in riddles.
What does Boyd think he's going to do with the gun in the tunnels? He needs to figure out what kind of weapon can actually harm the monsters.
I was thinking the same thing, lol
Same. I said unless he's planning to cut himself again, I don't know what a lantern and a gun will do.
I think Boyd will get tortured since smiley looks like he saw him.
@@nunyabusiness3516are they impacted by fire? That lantern might hurt sum'n
This the from we know and love great episode 💪🏽💪🏽
And coincidence Smiley is the only monster we've seen run, die, and come back to life
its like they say history always repeats its self once they remembered the story restarted
I wonder if Smiley was the first parent to convince everyone that sacrificing their children was a good idea.
@@rsullivan1agreed
Ethan has definitely been dropping gems. Nobody listened to him cause he’s a kid referencing a book … 😮
I like the theory that Martin is Boyd
@@SamM-hg1yn Boyd is black
@@yusavelli0448 Reincarnation is not bound by race
Wow solid references!
@@Mk-kr1bi Thank you!
I get being Confused how Victor doesn’t remember the important things. But he was a kid alone for 40years with more trauma than the Teletubbies. He found if he forced himself to forget he wouldn’t be sad anymore. It happens in real life all the time minus the 40years alone in fromville lol
I'm starting to understand that now too @Morris3720! It makes me wonder how many things that I've forgotten 🤔
I don't think Ethan is forgetting, I think he is just a child experiencing forgetting someones face after a long enough time from them passing.
The monsters have two ways into town🤯
"Finally speaks pokemon" LMAOOOO IM CRYING
I was so happy to see jim go.. next up julie ,her brother ,boyds goofy son, fatima, and finally boyd !
🤣😂🤣😶
Nahhh
Bro wants the main characters gone
Not Boyd !
Jim was a good guy. It's so annoying how everyone hates on him. He just wanted to protect his family. His wife was never loving or affectionate with him. She also always dismissed his feelings.
The colonial guy, who drinks the blood out of the skull, could he be Elgin in a different cycle? Since everything repeats? Back to theorizing ....
Wasnt he missing an eye??
Yes. Everyone who is missin an eye now is tied into this moment. The guy drink blood had a messed up eye, and so did the confederate soldier from season 1.
@@fitch099 So did the guy who was stuck under a boulder in the root cellar that Jade saw in season 1.
Anthony “Julie looks like she just survived the hunger games”. I’m dead😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah we need to find out why those ppl.
Maybe they are all descendants of the original inhabitants
@@uniqcorn1 I never thought of that😳
But all the people that came in the bus? That's so random.
17:14 Boyd is saying that that’s his house that they were going to, but there’s no boat there, but in Boyd’s memory, he never saw the house with the boat. They surprised him with the boat on the way there.
Good point!!
victor is also mentally and emotionally stunted....i also feel like many MANY years being there has all those memories suppressed...that happens in real life, with people who have trauma
Edit: also, with eloise, he said he didnt know, because they were only pieces, and her face wasnt there...did you even watch it?
he buried who he believed to be his sister
Was Elgen once the one eyed civil war soldier?
and the one eyed skull cup blood drinking colonial ghost.
@@RedDogForge And the one eyed guy stuck under the boulder in the root cellar from season 1.
Ain’t No Time For Thinking! 😂
NOPE!
Victor says "mom fell down. Not " your mom fell down."
Anthony TMB you’re retelling is so hilarious😂😂 I’m gonna miss coming here on Sunday’s to get my Fromily Companion fix😢
Love your humor:) Great Review!!!
That's why Sara cut out Toby's tongue because he probably would've chosen to advise Jade
yup, this episode is good enough for me until 2026
The “old man” is the boy in white… because… “I dont think he was really a little boy “
The man in yellow looking damn badass. I already started loving the character. 🥶🤯
I didn't love that disgusting Martin-style shirt. Why is his shirt so filthy??
@nunyabusiness3516 it's your problem. Cause everyone is happy with his look.
I still think there’s a reason why the creature that was egging Elgin on, and that was in the room with Fatima is dressed in a kimono. None of the other monsters are dressed in Japanese attire.
They also don't have the same emaciated skeletal frames either.
What are your thoughts on that?
Just to take the edge off 😂😂😂💀💀💀
But why see the man in yellow now?? Is it bc Jim figured out the musical notes? That would be my guess. Knowledge comes at a cost... but if that's true why only now? And the MIY, BIW, Komo lady can all appear any time of the day they want to.
Kimono****
Future Julie is giving DARK energy. Ifkyk
I Love your names for Jade & Tabatha. Lol.
Why is the man in yellow blaming Jim for what Tabitha is doing? Why didn't he go after Tabitha and Jade?
Because its always the husbands fault!! Even if he's not around when shit goes down its his fault! (Any married man over 40 should know this!!)
@@michaellamont250😂😂😂😂
Maybe because Jim was the one to figure out the music notes connection. 🤷♀️
@@agatastevens Maybe the music is very important. Because Jim isn't the only one got answers. Why not kill Boyd a long time ago, he found the talisman?

The clips in between but wait there's more, made me bust out laughing. as always enjoy watching.
What is the story behind the brand Mabuse on the paddles that Randall was going to use? I don't follow.
There’s a story about a character named Mr. Mabuse. The Man in Yellow seems loosely based on him.
5:10 LMAO NOT JIM COLE 🤣🤣🤣
If Julie can change the past this might not be the last time we see Jim
Great episode
Not sure if I commented on the video before. After this s03e10, I was thinking when rewatching - Julie heard screams until she was in the ruins, after that no screaming , Randal hear bugs, cicadas, maybe if he do something too he will stop hearing it. My theory now is that they hear stuff when they are not following the script of the time loop/time paradox. things need to happen because they happened already. If you understand what I am saying.
Whatever happened, happened
So Boyd is now Smiley's grandpa
Fatima had me stressed out. I'm like please sit down and be quiet. How does she know when it's day or night? The monsters might get her.
5:10 not the apology 😂
Now that Jim died in the daytime; Boyd doesn't have to tell the town that Fatima killed Tillie. Maybe they will stop suspecting a fellow town member for her murder.
Acosta's role is so redundant that it makes me think someone persuaded the director to give her a part.
nah. if she wasn’t talking shit. sara doesn’t take elgins eye
@@Jsztke Boyd could have taken a pee break and Sara takes that chance to go to Elgin XD.
I find her character to be irrelevant.
She must be related to the director lol
Yes!! It’s giving, can you let my daughter be in the show 😂
Them keeping her first name concealed must mean something.
Finally some damn answers 😂
they answers were always there from the beginning
I coulda swore Kenny called her Danny or something I'll have to rewatch it
Yes
It was in the subtitles as well DANI
Oh ok lol I thought I heard it
I heard the same. I think he called her Dani because I remember wondering who he was talking to
That means they became friends off screen
The best series on tv! Fantastic
Now I wonder if Fatima and Elgin will have some type of connection with Smiley. Because Fatima birthed him and Elgin supplied his own blood. We'll see!
I dont think Smiley being reborn was a surprise. I suspected this the last two episodes
Initially I thought Fatima is going to convert into a creature. Then they showed the pregnancy angle and they said no baby. Again I thought she is going to become a creature. Then they added a twist with Komo lady n then I thought maybe the baby would be a devil destined to rule this world. But they made a smiley of that baby😂
that was a great episode 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I think a different Julie comes to Jim. Shorter darker hair, different clothes??
Yes. The future julie
Sarah was tired of the BS and came through like a mob enforcer form the Gambino crime family.
"Cmere Elgin, I just wanna talk" 😂
Elgin is so dumb, he told on himself.
Dude- season four Tabitha can now cast Fireball and Magic Missiles.
She's leveled up big-time.
Okay, but who was the granny monster’s kid? How did she end up with a young one to sacrifice lol? She looks ancient. I figured the sacrificed kids were all supposed to be pretty young.
That's what I've been asking too. Maybe one of the children didn't have one or both of the parents, but one parent and a grandma, or just a grandma 🤷
I think maybe the man in yellow and what he said about knowledge coming with a cost may be why the boy in white is hesitant to try and help directly
I think the boy in white got jaded (ha!) by being too direct with the residents due to Christopher rejecting his instruction in the previous round. I think the BiW is now letting the residents mostly figure things out on their own so that they are more receptive when he finally does choose to get involved
Ricky He also called himself Nightwing for Heavy Spoilers haha
OMG you guys were right. I was saying last week Tabitha is not Miranda reincarnated.
Ooooh that was a good point about ethan forgetting things i did not even consider that
Also for the reincartion timelines not lining up...like Tabitha couldnt have been born AFTER Miranda dies, cause look at the age of Victor and his Dad(if someone is trying to say time works differently in Fromville)...I think the spirits of the original people of the town are time travelers.
