So glad we finally got the answer to who threw the rope down to Boyd. Next needs to be who told Jim his wife shouldn't be digging that hole over the radio
Thank you for coming through and commenting @ianrush8071.We're finally getting answers!!! I'm glad you're glad about finding out who threw the rope. I would've rather found out who Jim heard on the radio but this rope throw was, by far, the most popular question 😅
@@georgekapambwe5696 it's been shown in drawings in the show ever since Tabitha went to Henry's house in episode 2 S2, I think. People has been speculating he's one of the bad guys. There is so many other clues in drawings and things in the town.
I think why Victor's memory is all jumbled up is because he blames himself for his mother's death which made him want to forget what actually happened and filled those memories with random stuff to replace those bad memories for him which is why he thought the doll spoke, this kind of stuff does happen to traumatized people not very often but that does happen
I think his hair is covering up scarring on his head. I think the monsters did something to him, like they lobotomized him and literally scrambled his brains so they don't see him as a threat.
I think Victor was removed from the world of Fromville at some point between the massacre and the town being reset for new arrivals. Remember that he only draws what he actually saw- and he drew Fromville and the monster tunnels inside a snow globe or terrarium. If he saw that, I bet it broke his young mind. Hell, it'd probably break anyone.
From that scene, Victor reveals he was the one that told his mom ab the children, SO HOW DID HENRY KNOW?? WHERE DID THOSE PAINTINGS COME FROM IF SHE DIDNT KNOW BACK THEN?? WHY IS NOBODY TALKING ABOUT THAT OPENED UP SO MANY QUESTIONS
Victor is acting like a child because he never emotionally grew up. Yet Tabatha is the one mother figure he knows of so of course he would express to her what he wants.
They said the answers were in the beginning and that made me think of the tree in the road, that was the beginning for everyone. And the roots the kids are looking up as show a hole in the ground with roots..maybe from the overturned tree? maybe that tree is a far away tree too though? maybe there is an opening in it somewhere
Everyone sees a tree before going to from BUT the tree is never the same tree! Compare the tree we saw this season that blocked the ambulance to the tree in season 1 that blocked Jim's car. They look different, everyone sees a different tree so they can't all be far away trees
Boyd is the man-and a wonderful character. He’s shouldering immense burdens and he has to do it while maintaining a relatively calm, collected demeanor. He and Donna spend the entire show struggling to maintain the inhabitants’ calm, but he has his own family loyalties, too.
We got a really interesting episode this week. If Christopher (not Miranda) was a chosen one to safe the children then Jade is the one on the mission rather than Tabitha now. I like Jade very much so I'm glad he's still such an important character. He really does try to solve some mysteries unlike many other characters. We had trees that allow to change location, now we've got a place that allows to travel in time. We see Julie stepping into the dangeon but not Ethan. It looks like some people are able to time travel while others not. So far we saw Julie, Randall, Marielle, Martin and Boyd in that space. Martin seems to be the one who knows how to navigate through time. Using the time travel device in the plot could be very tricky so I hope the From writers would do a good job. Also, the fact that Boy in White talked to Christopher doesn't mean than Jasper cannot talk. Maybe they both talked to Christopher and he listened more to Jasper actually, and this is why he didn't want to do what the Boy in White told him.
Wait a minute! Just to be sure, Fatima didn't take a pregnancy test. She ASKED for a pregnancy test, but evidently there aren't any. And the next thing you see is that morning has come and Kristi and Fatima had been talking and Kristi was taking notes. And Fatima asks, "Are you sure?" And Kristi said that she's very sure considering the circumstances. Later, you hear Kristi say that Fatima might be up to 6, maybe 7, weeks pregnant. The entire diagnosis must have been based off information that Fatima gave her including her last period. Fatima gave away that she might be pregnant the night that the bus came into town. And several times after that night, it seems like Fatima might have been suspicious that she might be pregnant, but she never said anything. I noticed it immediately and laughed at how confused Ellis was when he saw Fatima's acting like that. The show was setting up pregnancy at the time, several episodes before her asking for a pregnancy test.
So here is a mind f...in order for Julie to get into the worm cave, she needed to have been infected by the Cicadas, which came from Boyd entering the worm cave and getting the worms from Martin. But Boyd couldn't have got up into the worm cave with Martin, without Julie thtowing down the rope in the first place....🤯
Could it have been the boy in white that was on the phone with Jim ...telling him it was Thomas? And Eljin told Fatima the baby wasn't hers..just like "Thomas" told Jim his kids weren't his.🤔
Sarah went through a faraway tree with boyd. Thats how she knows Remember the boy in white told Sarah to go through the tree! She told boyd he must go first and thats when boyd ended up in the dungeon and sarah emded up back in town.
His wife took their kids and left him so I think he was an alcoholic before too. Why would she take the kids to a place she couldn't protect them when she left unless it was worse at home?
I don't think it's necessarily time travel. It's more like astral projection to me. Julia's body didn't physically travel to another place at the ruins. However, her mind was able to manifest her presence and physically interact with the environment in the tunnels and the dungeon with Martin.
I think he’s going to find his sister I think they were trying to bring her back into the plot with him saying how good she is at hide and seek and that he could never find her maybe his mom made her go into a faraway tree to hide somewhere
Jasper isn't a retcon. Jasper represents a mnemonic device. He helped Victor unlock the repressed memories of the boy in white talking to Christopher because he told his mother what he heard and this is when his mother left him. So, he repressed the trauma and was unable to develop like a normal person would. If Jasper talked or not, that wasn't important.
You're right @davidagiel8130! Jasper is mnemonic device. What I don't like is that a few episodes ago they show Jasper talking after hinting he was sentient in the first 2 seasons and then in this episode they say he isn't. This feels like a circumstance where both can be true. Jasper isn't sentient despite what the show hinted but he is a mnemonic device. Any chance you can catch the live stream on Monday at 5pm eastern and where I'll talk about it? ua-cam.com/users/liveXA84IJcP13k?si=6am7HANsY4gJY4na
I think FROM has become the show that people can not guess. No one in their mind called Tillie being off'd last week. And they sure did not call Julie throwing Boyd that rope and not even the Elgin thing. Which many said she WASN'T pregnant lol The writers are brilliant.
I love the way you just get down to it and talk about the theories no extra chatter. I really love your sense of humor. You make me burst out laughing many times while discussing the theories.😂 also your theories are very sound. I have a theory I’ve been thinking about the last few days and it is that the From series is a game that Ethan is playing. Remember the first season the very first episode when Ethan and Julie were playing the game? I think that’s what’s happening. Especially when they mentioned thresholds, which is a term from the heroes journey.
@@lediarunnels4525 thank you, I appreciate you taking the time to give the kind words of support 🙏🏾 I think you're on to something. That first episode with the Cromenockle toys feels like a huge clue that we just don't understand yet. See you again next week for episode 9?
Actually, the first one to time travel was Boyd. And Henry, he has a doppelganger, or an evil alter ego, no doubt, Alcohol abuse turns him from Dr. Jekyl to Mr. Hyde. And with alcohol abuse comes Domestic Family Problems. It's a way to introduce a bad side of a person. Of course, their might also be an actual evil twin figure, too. Any or all symbols could be used in this crazy show.
I got the feeling, that Elgin knew the town when they pulled up on the bus. I think he's seen it too. 🤔🤷♀️ but, so far, I've been wrong about everything 😄😄😃.
Jim as usual, after telling Tabitha about the phone...leaves out a lot about it.a big one - the voice claimed they're not their kids anymore. plus that Ethan took the last call.
In fairness, Jim keeps ditching the kids without a word and treats Julie like this week’s babysitter, so maybe the voice on the phone is just making a fair observation about his parenting skills.
Is Martin really Randall but he knew he couldn’t tell Julie but that’s why he knew her name and said there are things worst than death and the monster said they get to keep Randall
Episode 9- Boyd knows about Fatima that she killed Tillie but will keep it a secret. Sarah is accused of murder and all the residents of Colony House want to put her in the box. It gets to that moment, but Fatima appears in the last hour and admits her deed and decides to be she is executed in Sarah's place. Night comes and the monsters appear but it seems that the monsters ignore her. Tabitha and Jade discover the truth behind the bottle trees. The relationship between Jim and Tabitha deteriorates. Boyd is no longer trusted by the locals. Ellis has visions with Abby. Episode 10- Fatima comes out of the box the next morning but then runs into the woods. Jade has a vision of Christopher and the boy in white. Jade becomes incoherent and almost kills Tabitha thinking it's the boy in white. Ellis goes looking for Fatima in the woods. Jim he is alone at home and realizes that the talisman from the door has disappeared, then several locals come out asking Boyd for explanations because all the talismans have disappeared. Jade stole all the talismans and keeps them hidden as part of the pact made between him and the boy in white. That evening, the majority of those who did not find a hiding place were killed. The finale plays a scene with a car in which a family is (Miranda, Victor and Eloise).
Jim Saying to Tabitha that Someone knows things about them that should be unknown. Tillie Saying Run, to Fatima and the only other person tillie really interacted with was Elgin. He may be working for the "bad" guys.
@@ElGatoBlanco1970 have you watched the episode? He’s not working for the bad guys. He’s affected by that kimono lady just like Sara was affected by the voices in her head. In both cases they thought they were doing good but it’s obvious some sinister ish is about to happen.
I think that the ankooey kids were sacrificed by their loved ones so that they could gain immortality. However, they probably didn’t realize that it came with a price… turning into a soulless monster! You’d have to give up your soul to do something like that, so maybe their souls give electricity to the town. I also wasn’t surprised that the dummy didn’t talk. Victor’s memories have never been accurate. I suspect that the peaches he used to eat affected his memory. He seemed to start to remember his past when he ran out of peaches. I figured that the evil entity was controlling the dummy and making it talk, but it was the boy in white! I still don’t trust the boy in white! Not sure about Martin either. Who the hell is Martin anyway?! I hope we learn more about him! 🤔
I will only conclude Jasper doesn't talk when the series ends and we never heard Jasper talk. Otherwise, my card is still on table in the land of From where monsters exists and you can travel through trees.
@@TheChachafulI’m almost 100% certain the first episode had a way different direction for the show, on what the monsters were or are. Like probably came as people your knew at some point or dead people you knew. But they went a different direction
Notice that when Boyd and Ellis go to find Fatima that Boyd is back to holding his right hand with his left hand to keep it from shaking. It's a little detail, but telling. That storyline hasn't been forgotten.
I’m almost 100% confident that was NOT a retcon . You have to actually know what’s going on to determine a retcon … Victor just couldn’t remember but I understand your frustration lol . We’ll get the answers we want if we be patient and let things play out

Victor never said that his mother was going to try to make Christopher go threw the tree. He said that he told her what BIW told Christopher. She went to do it herself lol. But thing is, she supposedly had seen the kids before they even arrived so maybe that info was the tipping point for her.
Theory. Martin knew what he knew because he has met Boyd before. They did something similar in Doctor Who. It was Boyd’s first time meeting Martin, but not Martins first time meeting Boyd. I think in future episodes we will see a younger, cleaner version of Martin arrive at the town. That will be Martin’s first time meeting Boyd, but we know it’s not Boyd’s first time meeting Martin. It explains how he knows Julie too. He’s part of the town, in the future. And personally I think Boyd would have seen Julie too if he was up there.
Just rewatched first episode. Things that stick out. The story Julie is telling Ethan about a guy who gets attacked by monsters and lays dying. The person with him is telling him that when the mermaids from the lake of tears who up, they’ll save him. Instead of Julie continuing the story, she lets the character die and Ethan flips out and tells her to bring him back to life and she doesn’t. In the next scene involving the RV, Jim and Tabitha are talking in the front seats and he starts getting all nostalgic saying this feels like how it used to be or somehtint and she flat out tells him to stop, and then they immediately see the tree in the road. The only other significant things in that episode than I see are the introduction of the talismans next to doors, the fact that Sara starts killing peoole right off the bat when she kills the dude that was driving Jade. Also did Jade and that guy ever see the tree? If the answers are in fact in this episode, I really think it has to be related to one of these things.
That's a REALLY good observation. Did Jade and his friend see the tree?!?! I've never thought about it. They are driving in from the opposite direction of Jim and Tabitha, but they never show them encounter the tree.
@@nunyabusiness3516 I’m pretty sure Jade never mentions seeing the tree. Maybe it’s because buddy seemed to have been on some narcotics in that back seat but idk.
After this episode, im convinced there are no good "entities" in fromville. The boy in white is so so, but what good has he done? Had Sarah killing ppl, Victor lost his mom, pushed Tabitha off a cliff 😂, made Christopher snap, etc
Episode 9- Boyd knows about Fatima that she killed Tillie but will keep it a secret. Sarah is accused of murder and all the residents of Colony House want to put her in the box. I think you’re mistaken. Victor previously told us that his mom was trying to get to the light house to save the children, so they could all go home. So I think that’s what she went to do, since Christopher had already refused.
@themovieblog You said that Victor’s mom left to convince Christopher to save the children in the light house. I was under the impression, that she was on her way to save them herself, since Christopher refused. I have since heard many other content creators and fans say the same thing, so I think that my interpretation is correct.
No cap, I’m disappointed they couldn’t put the Boy In White there as an accomplice or just Victor remembering the BIW was THERE in the room when Victor finally recalls the scene w Christopher?! Making Jasper a dead end was a waste of a terrifying FROMville ‘character’ like Kimono Lady. Especially since cue 😂Jade hallucinated seeing Jasper. That doll was terrifying & it would’ve been great just being in incorporated with the other evil entity’s there. Props to Scott McCord, either way. 🎯 And let’s not even talk about Jim. He should’ve been named KAREN & needs to curb all the hissy fits. Don’t put ya hands on Jade again, Jim. He’s your only hope to figure out enough to get your asses outta there. Thanks for the dive Anthony m, looking forward to the discussion LIVESTREAM! 🥳💕
I don’t think anything coming from Victor can be labeled as a retcon because him being an unreliable narrator is the original piece of information we have about him. We always need to assume his information is limited.
It's never a good omen when a bully/jerk character suddenly starts being nice or even goes full redemption arc. Usually winds up with some noble act of self-sacrifice, just at the point where their life had been going really well, but now someone has to take one for the team. So, I think we might see Randall having to do a Randy Quaid at the end of Independence Day style thing.
The dummy/BiW switcheroo is not a retcon. A retcon occurs when established canon gets changed to tidy up a messy plot situation, usually years after the original scenario played out. Victor made great effort to forget his traumatic experiences, drawing pictures to hold the memories for him; the revelation about the BiW strengthens his status as an "unreliable narrator" rather than countering any established fact. That said, it did feel like there was something a bit clunky about the way it was handled.
When Ellis asked Boyd what he would do; given the chance, with his mother the silence was palpable. Boyd’s a pragmatist and the show is playing at Boyd’s ego. My guess is Fatima is about to stop being family real soon. Also Jim still giving The Shining vibes
There is some inetersting meta in the series. That is talking about the hero's journey and the structure of the plot in myths and fairy tales. The episode is titled Threshold which is always a very important step in the hero's adventures. Of course, all the characters met their first threshold while coming across the falling trees in the road but entering the dangeon was created especially for Julie. The next step for the hero is encountering a major and difficult obstacle. I think Julie will now get a bigger role to play (as a hero in this narration) and she will have to face something very important and possibly terrifying.
I think Julie and Tabitha are meant to be the Chromonakle, not Ethan, as the main character in that story is female. I think Julie and Tabitha are the keys to getting free from the town, and Ethan is the guide who is meant to get people into position, including Victor and Jade. I could be very wrong though🤣
@@daiseylj Oh, I like your idea. We'll see more of Julie and Tabhita next two episodes, I think. If the reincarnation theory is true though, I wonder why Ethan and Victor are alive at the same time...?
Instead of time travel it could be just a simple case of a flashback or remembering what happened at that moment similar to what Victor was going through.
I'm not sure if that's time travel! I believe it was in Julie's head! If it was time travel Julie's body would have been gone also. But I said 2 episodes ago the entity prayed on slow minded people like Sara and Elgin, and it would have Elgin bring Fatima to the room But the funniest thing of the season? Victor saying JASPER, you're gonna talk to me! TELL ME! only to be like OOPS it was the boy in white talking to Christopher! 😂😂😂, sorry guys! You have to remeber the town can hear and project for the people in from town, Mrs Liu said to plant crops further out? They find food, Julie yells at Jim about Thomas, the phone rings it's him boys yells the place won't break him, it's breaking him! Fatima mentions something about being pregnant..... follow my drift!
I dont think the show revealing it wasnt Jasper but the boy in white was a retcon but proof that Victor cannot be trusted completely as a narrator cause he's got bad memory. There were a few people expecting this scene to be slightly different from what he told first, in that sence. A talking doll would've been amazing but a paranormal element would've been too much lol
I think this is a situation that both can be true. I think they used Victor's unreliable memory as a way to make it easier for some to accept them showing us Jasper can talk and then explaining that he cant but I am not really a fan of revising something that we've been shown, especially in a show like this. I appreciate you sharing your views on this @nilo8090 and I hope to see you come back next week because NEXT WEEK's episode is gonna be a INTERESTING one.
Oh man, so much information!!! First off i noticed when Tillie was found Elgin didn't seem one bit surprised or upset, so did the Kimono Lady tell him this would happen? I'm shipping Acosta and Kenny! As far as Jasper's role, I think he was a trigger for Victor's repressed memories. I think Jim might die, he has the same scar on his forehead as the dusty kids! idk if it'll be this season but I just noticed that. Ok now Julie; i get why people are thinking time travel but I don't think that's it. Her body was still physically in the woods convulsing. I think she's astral projecting into other dimensions. I also think all the cicada 3 (love that btw!) can probably do that since they seem to have been marked by the big bad. I think Martin is the big evil, just presented as an old crusty prisoner. And I called those roots Jade saw being the Faraway Tree roots, I'm so happy I got a theory right! I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff cause there was so much. Great videos!
Hear me out! We all have theories that Tabitha is Miranda. Jim is Henry. Ethan & Julie are victor and eloise. What if the reason jade has visions of the sign and jasper, is because he is (or a version of) Christopher? I have a feeling that the reason Martin knows Julie’s name, is because he could be Randall? Or someone we know? Now that we know time travel exists, I have a feeling that all of these characters are somehow connected. Tillie could be someone we know as well which is why she suspicious AF! That’s my thinking anyway. I could be way off.
I don't know that it means Martin is Randall because the monster on the Colony House PORCH ALSO knew Julie's name and seemed to indicate she should know him too. The phone caller and the person on the radio knew the family's names too.
21:32 that’s what you come up with from that scene??? Not the fact that means victors mom DIDNT ACTUALLY KNOW AB THE KIDS BEFORE ENTERING FROM??? HOW DID HENRY KNOW ANYTHING IF VICTOR WAS THE ONE THAT TOLD HER AFTER THEY WERE ALREADY IN FROM???
@ because Victor said he was the one that told her after they arrived in from. Could it be a different version of her who drew the paintings? Did she forget all about them as she entered from and Victor telling her trigger a memory?
Elgin has obviously changed his demeanor towards the Kimono Lady since she offered to help him get home, so whatever she's showing him is something he believes will help them get home. The question is: Is she being honest with him, or is this another Sarah situation.
If im not mistaken. The boy in white told sara about the tree. Sara and Boyd went through the far away tree when they were out in the woods. Sara ended up in the basement of the church after entering, and boyd ended up in the well. She was found by Father khatri. She became possessed and told him about the candy bar he buried.
The only take away I got from the first episode is that the monster (who claimed to be the kids grandmother) killed the only child in town. Then the next day another child showed up. So maybe killing the child isn’t the same as sacrificing them. That killing them prevents them from being sacrificed which somehow would be detrimental to the monsters. Maybe a parent has to do the sacrifice so that’s why Victor isn’t a threat to the monsters but Ethan will be and why Tabitha seems to be important to the town.
exactly what im thinking too!! it makes sense.. the suspense is killing me! i am really wondering how they'll use the time traveling aspect in future episodes\ seasons
3:22 I don’t think Fatima actually took a pregnancy test. She asks if Kristi has any at the clinic, but we never hear the answer. When we next see them, Kristi has a clipboard-presumably noting Fatima’s symptoms-and does not reference test results. When the ultrasound finally reveals Fatima’s uterus is empty, she insists she must be pregnant but does not refer to a test as proof. Kristi does not even have to point out, as others have, that other conditions can sometimes produce false positives on those tests.
I think that the kimono lady apeearing to fatima was just her going after her and creating that initial connection and to see where she was hidding so she could show it in the picture to elgin. Also, about Martin knowing who Julie is, maybe they talked already or he and Boyd already talked before, it just didnt happen yet, just like how Boyd got the rope from Julie at the time, but she just got that information now. So we may see some interaction that martin already has with them but they didnt had it yet. Maybe julie and boyd will go back in time, before the rope and talk more to martin
For some reason when you narrated what the BIW said it made me think what if its a story about Ethan Julie and their family. Hence the tree and the roots and the kids having hope and poured their hope into the roots that formed the tree( family tree) They were told a story by the people who loved them (their parents) that gave them hope. Like Tabby and Jim not getting a divorce. Or the whole family trip although we know it was the last family trip the kids thought their family was going to get better. The whole save the children is Tabby needing to save her own damn kids because they are spiraling and because they are so consumed the parents don’t realize it. What do kids fear. The monsters that come out at night. Fear the world and what they don’t understand about it. Dad no longer being there to protect his family because he was too busy. Just like the dude whos family was ripped apart because he stayed out in the bar all night. Just like Victors dad who didnt believe his mom. Lmfaooo its a huge reach and I am lowkey over all this shit but Im new to the channel and you provoked this comment so I blame you. Lmao
@@allnatural360 thank you for coming through and commenting! All theories are welcome no matter what. I like where you're going with the story being about the Matthews kids and I see the parallels there. This could explain a lot and I'm gonna think about this some more. I agree that there's something about what they're going through and their actual familial issues. Thank you again for coming through and I hope we see you bring this insight again next week!
The mannequin switch to boy in white wasn’t retcon. In From objects and memories are nearly interchangeable. Finding the mannequin in the tunnels and finding the right location were all part of using the mannequin object to unlock the memory he buried deeper than deep. Victor heard the story, told his mother, and unintentionally sent her to her death. This is why once the memory was free he could just tell what everyone did and said. In short he locked away this terrible memory and didn’t know what he hide but knew the mannequin was the key.
I hear you @garymon and I appreciate you commenting and explainign your perspective. I feel that showing that Jasper could talk and then showing that he in fact cannot talk is what I refer to as a retcon. I agree that the writers used Victor's shaky memory to justify the revisionist history and I understand that it's not as big of a deal to others as it is to me but does contradict something that we were shown in previous episodes.
@ yes understand your perspective. I definitely would say it was an intentional fake out. I still wouldn’t call it a retcon because we all knew to not trust Victors memory 100% but I think your reaction is just as valid as mine. Love your videos. Keep doing what you do.
On rewatching, while Tabitha was in Victors dad’s basement, I spotted a photo of a little girl wearing the same clothes in Taby’s flashback. So is Tabby the same girl, a reincarnation or what do you make of this??
Maybe they need that baby to carry out the sacrifice bcus the boy in white was the last child they needed and he escaped . I believe somebody time traveled and helped him like Julie did Boyd . I also believe every one is each other ! Tabitha is Miranda , Jim is Henry , Jade is Christopher , Boyd is Elgin , Julie is Tillie , Acosta is Donna !!!!???

I think why Victor's memory is all jumbled up is because he blames himself for his mother's death which made him want to forget what actually happened and filled those memories with random stuff to replace those bad memories for him which is why he thought the doll spoke, this kind of stuff does happen to traumatized people not very often but that does happen
I think his hair is covering up scarring on his head. I think the monsters did something to him, like they lobotomized him and literally scrambled his brains so they don't see him as a threat.
Trauma often causes memory loss to protect ourselves from reliving it.
@ohyeahyeah2437 Victor only told his mother specifics- just like we just got.
"One of the randoms found Tilly" 😂😂😂
That random annoys me. I hope the farm lands on him.
The main guy they were talking with also lol
@babytoshiro7014 word, he acted like he was around for the Sarah stuff... we just met you 😂
😂 Boyd is definitely “a loyal father”, but he’s definitely doing something wrong. 😂
Victor is acting like a child because he never emotionally grew up. Yet Tabatha is the one mother figure he knows of so of course he would express to her what he wants.
THAT part
And he also witnessed a lot of traumatic events.
They said the answers were in the beginning and that made me think of the tree in the road, that was the beginning for everyone. And the roots the kids are looking up as show a hole in the ground with roots..maybe from the overturned tree? maybe that tree is a far away tree too though? maybe there is an opening in it somewhere
Good theory
That’s what I thought as well, they should climb up and walk the opposite way lol
Everyone sees a tree before going to from BUT the tree is never the same tree! Compare the tree we saw this season that blocked the ambulance to the tree in season 1 that blocked Jim's car. They look different, everyone sees a different tree so they can't all be far away trees
@@BaDazai that is true!
@BaDazai why it cannot. Remember there is more than one tree
This past week ive put my self in Boyds position and man. Its Tough. My guy really has A LOT on his plate😢
Same man who Kd his wife. It shouldn't be as hard

Sarah went through a faraway tree with boyd. Thats how she knows
Remember the boy in white told Sarah to go through the tree! She told boyd he must go first and thats when boyd ended up in the dungeon and sarah emded up back in town.
i just think henry became a drunk after you know his whole family disappeared
hmm.. maybe. He was accustomed to doing drugs with his wife before they had kids. I wouldnt be surprised if was also drinking then too 🤷🏾♂️
His wife took their kids and left him so I think he was an alcoholic before too. Why would she take the kids to a place she couldn't protect them when she left unless it was worse at home?
@@nunyabusiness3516 YES!
I don't think it's necessarily time travel. It's more like astral projection to me. Julia's body didn't physically travel to another place at the ruins. However, her mind was able to manifest her presence and physically interact with the environment in the tunnels and the dungeon with Martin.
It's definitely astral projection💯. People who aren't familiar with how astral projection works will think it's time travel🤷♂️
Elgin and this camera makes me think of an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark 🤣
Yes!
Between that and the ventriloquist dummy from “Goosebumps,” this show really plays on my long buried 90s kid fears. 🥲
I think he’s going to find his sister I think they were trying to bring her back into the plot with him saying how good she is at hide and seek and that he could never find her maybe his mom made her go into a faraway tree to hide somewhere
GOOD POINT @robert123re3! we havent seen what happened to Miranda or Elois and CLEARLY Victor's memory CAN'T be trusted 😅
@@Themovieblogfacts bruh homie had me thinking jasper the doll really talked 😂

what if Eloise can time travel just like Julie and that's why he couldn't find her
@@analovric2132 Maybe 🤷🏾♂! At this point literally anything can happen
I think FROM has become the show that people can not guess. No one in their mind called Tillie being off'd last week. And they sure did not call Julie throwing Boyd that rope and not even the Elgin thing. Which many said she WASN'T pregnant lol The writers are brilliant.
@@babytoshiro7014 yes and the more I watch the more I believe the show is not about the mystery. 🤔
@@lediarunnels4525 thank you, I appreciate you taking the time to give the kind words of support 🙏🏾
I think you're on to something.
I love all the insults thrown at Elgin 😂
The boy in white spoke to Sarah . She’s the one pushed Boyd through a tree when they were in the forest and he ended up in the well underground
Jim as usual, after telling Tabitha about the phone...leaves out a lot about it.a big one - the voice claimed they're not their kids anymore. plus that Ethan took the last call.
@@sims717 🤫🤐
In fairness, Jim keeps ditching the kids without a word and treats Julie like this week’s babysitter, so maybe the voice on the phone is just making a fair observation about his parenting skills.
Is Martin really Randall but he knew he couldn’t tell Julie but that’s why he knew her name and said there are things worst than death and the monster said they get to keep Randall
Oooooooooh?! 😮🤔
Good question @mermaidreviews4693! I wonder if Randall has a Marines tattoo on his arm

Who's body is in the cellar, they weren't pregnant, or maybe? What happens down their? "This is where it happens?" - Elgin..... WTF is he doing🤬
Was he trying to lock Fatima in the cellar with the dead body?
Donna is right, Boyd needs to tell everyone to restore their faith in him, if they find out any other way there will be hell to pay.
I will only conclude Jasper doesn't talk when the series ends and we never heard Jasper talk. Otherwise, my card is still on table in the land of From where monsters exists and you can travel through trees.
I can't believe Jasper's just a creepy doll
Also if Julie can time travel was the monster asking if she remembered him not just messing with her?
Huh? He’s ALWAYS been a creepy doll.
I think so @TheChachaful. The monsters have the habit of messing with people in that way, just like the little girl back in the first episode

It's not really time travel. She physically didn't go anywhere.

I thought he was the monster who first spoke to her 😅 maybe they make him live as a monster in part time.
@@SandeeCheekssss I love this theory. It would explain SO MUCH. Martin could be Boyd's future best friend 🤔

Nice theory but quite far fetched
@@jwalton5750 I had the same exact thoughts. They are moving in the opposite directions on the same timeline.
It’s surely in the story Julie and Ethan were talking about. Or something to do with the crows
@ I was thinking about those crows. They do spend a lot of time talking about them.

Julie is like fuck it, I'll ask my younger brother what to do, like he knows shit
YUP! At this point, why not!? lol
I think you’re mistaken. Victor previously told us that his mom was trying to get to the light house to save the children, so they could all go home. So I think that’s what she went to do, since Christopher had already refused.
What did I say that was mistaken? 🤔
@themovieblog You said that Victor’s mom left to convince Christopher to save the children in the light house. I was under the impression, that she was on her way to save them herself, since Christopher refused.
I have since heard many other content creators and fans say the same thing, so I think that my interpretation is correct.
Jade not only sees jasper, but he is also haunted by Christopher .
Jim couldn't wait to abandon his children.
Right!!!😂😂😂 Jim said 6 seconds alone with Ethan was MORE THAN ENOUGH for him!!! He really left to drink but decided to harass Jade instead😂😂😂
I’m amazed Victor could remember all that after 40 years. I couldn’t remember it after 40 minutes.
The fact John Griffen wrote "The Twilight Zone" this can be going anywhere.
And let’s not even talk about Jim.
Randall = Vegeta
Love Donna she’s great and it was cool she got to act with her husband ❤❤❤amazing
Donna complains and does NOTHING LMAO. She doesn't drive the plot. Just yells at boyd
"Nightwing and Bat Girl" 😩😭😂🤣
The dummy/BiW switcheroo is not a retcon. A retcon occurs when established canon gets changed to tidy up a messy plot situation, usually years after the original scenario played out. Victor made great effort to forget his traumatic experiences, drawing pictures to hold the memories for him; the revelation about the BiW strengthens his status as an "unreliable narrator" rather than countering any established fact. That said, it did feel like there was something a bit clunky about the way it was handled.
PS I subscribed. Hope it helps!
Jade also saw the dummy move independently
When Ellis asked Boyd what he would do; given the chance, with his mother the silence was palpable. Boyd’s a pragmatist and the show is playing at Boyd’s ego. My guess is Fatima is about to stop being family real soon. Also Jim still giving The Shining vibes
This was such an interesting episode. I wonder if we will get the answers we are searching for…
I'm happy that we're getting so many episodes in THIS episode @CassiH-vt6iv. We found out who through the rope AND we learned WHY FROMTown started!!
I felt just as crazy as Victor hoping the doll would talk.
Or that he expected a girl to talk in a male dummy's voice!
Great episode for me several of my theories are lining up!

@@nunyabusiness3516 I think Martin is from the future 😅
21:32 that’s what you come up with from that scene??? Not the fact that means victors mom DIDNT ACTUALLY KNOW AB THE KIDS BEFORE ENTERING FROM??? HOW DID HENRY KNOW ANYTHING IF VICTOR WAS THE ONE THAT TOLD HER AFTER THEY WERE ALREADY IN FROM???
Why do you think Miranda didn't know about the kids? 🤔🧐
@ because Victor said he was the one that told her after they arrived in from. Could it be a different version of her who drew the paintings? Did she forget all about them as she entered from and Victor telling her trigger a memory?
22:19 everyone’s calling him goofy but hear me out he’s probably saving her life. She prolly dies if she doesn’t listen to the entity.
Comfort or solutions. Chef’s kiss.

WTF is Elgin doing 🤦🏿♂️
🤷🏾♂️😬
Looking after Lady in the Kimonis baby so she can send them home 😢
Elgin has obviously changed his demeanor towards the Kimono Lady since she offered to help him get home, so whatever she's showing him is something he believes will help them get home. The question is: Is she being honest with him, or is this another Sarah situation.
I truly thought stabby mcstabby was gonna stab Boyd and Elgin I was telling those fawkers ruuuuun thru the screen😂😂😂😂
Christopher and a talking dummy in a basement is legit terrifying but the boy in white? No.
Change it back writers!
nailed it Anthony ❤️❤️

exactly what im thinking too!! it makes sense.. the suspense is killing me! i am really wondering how they'll use the time traveling aspect in future episodes\ seasons
I like Boyd looking younger and not one character noticing. So now it’s not of the table. Boyd , Fatima aren’t experiencing something
I hope to see them address this as we move forward 🧐🧐
I didn’t notice 😅 yall are good !
Jasper was importsnt bc he belonged to the guy who the boy in white gave answers too. Victor wouldve have remebeded without him.
YES! I'm with you on this @Ameghyst_the_Witch! Jasper was essential for jogging Victor's memory
Julie doesn't even realise that she time traveled
I think Jim can’t take the advice from Jade because they’re the same age, but he can take it from Henry because Jim has daddy issues.
i had to subscribe your review is great.
This truly means a lot to me, thank you @rayetv3340! I appreciate the vote of confidence there and I promise to keep this same energy moving forward
The boy in white told Sarah they were far away trees when she and Boyd tried to find a way out through the forest
Sarah was with Boyd when he went through the faraway tree. She also talks to various entities.
I always knew not to trust Victor memory
"She killed Kenny-s Dad!" You bastard.
😂😂😂
SOMEBODY NOTICED IT!! 🤣🤣🤣
@@Themovieblog Keep the cross references coming! Great channel.
"There is a baby, it's just not yours" - Elgin WTF
Loved the Vick Mackey reference!
On rewatching, while Tabitha was in Victors dad’s basement, I spotted a photo of a little girl wearing the same clothes in Taby’s flashback. So is Tabby the same girl, a reincarnation or what do you make of this??
Which painting?
Maybe they need that baby to carry out the sacrifice bcus the boy in white was the last child they needed and he escaped . I believe somebody time traveled and helped him like Julie did Boyd . I also believe every one is each other ! Tabitha is Miranda , Jim is Henry , Jade is Christopher , Boyd is Elgin , Julie is Tillie , Acosta is Donna !!!!???
The way martin says julies name its like he knows her and cares about her.
I'm suspicious about Elgin. I remembered Victor said I don't trust him.
Man, Screw Smelgin 🤣🤣
