That sucks Rex! Just something I noticed at 5:20 your engine does look like it is sitting VERY close to the passenger side strut tower.... like the gap there is only as wide as the air-con hose. The gap on my car is about twice or three times the size, so it might be worth comparing to your mate's AU. Good luck mate.
hahaha fuck! you quoted what i said to you on facebook today at the end and it totally caught me off guard! put the biggest smile across my gob! keep it up brother the AU will live again!
I’d be changing all ur front suspension components engine mounts and even crossmember engine mounts always bend and even snap off after decent impact shaft could be causing some ur issues too
Hey Rex, your power steering pump is likely fine, it might be noisy for a day or so but it should come good after a little while. I had the same problem and after about a day it was nice and quiet!
if the power steering still feels crap after bleeding it, let it sit overnight and the bubbles should sort them selves out and it should be good in the morning
Bro the recommended oil for the power steering is a Mobil oil and it's normal oil colour not that run of the mill red shit,I didn't think it would be any different but the end result is night and day, believe me cause I was having the exact same issues

Thanks Mate! I'll compare the two of them and fingers crossed its not too far off haha
if you end up buying another au you should look into a ute heaps of room for more spare sets to drive in mexico
Aaaand they look sick slammed
But don’t drift like a boat 😅

You should do a fairlane front end swap

ayy no way hahaha i rated that comment XD Cheers bro keen to get it fixed :)
car hit you because you said you was gonna reshell it
instant karma :(
Bubbles in the power steering means it's sucking in air somewhere. Check all your lines are tight and that you're not missing any o-rings
The return of the au!!!
Surely an xr6 front bar it not the chaser one
"You win some, you bin some
Fairlane front end with chaser bar
Make a sticker You win some You bin some 😂
100% use the other chaser bar.
Kinda cooked fits the kinda cooked au
hey rex hopefully you get more of the ef barra shirts on the website i missed out on them
unfortunately theyre gona for good! i'll do a new design though ;)
Do a fairlane front end bro would look made for drifting
Buy another AU and throw that intech into the Gq pooey. Massive upgrade over the tb.
Not a bad idea
Need a big motorbike project after this is finished
I’d be changing all ur front suspension components engine mounts and even crossmember engine mounts always bend and even snap off after decent impact shaft could be causing some ur issues too
the engine mounts were toasted!! good call man !!
Bro perfect time for a B series from end swap!
I second this!

You should take it to a panel beater and they should be able to help you bend the frame back
unfortunately not gonna be worth the monies!
We definitely need a "You win some, you bin some" sticker. 👌🏻
inshalla
Yes chaser front end swap 👌
You poor thing mate
Be careful my friend " accidents happen
Take care Rex staysafe From William.
Mount Gambier South Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks Bill! Appreciate the comments and thanks for joining in on the livestreams
hear me out custom tube front end thing no bumper no headlights
Just get a factory crash bar and instead of welding it make it bolt on bolt off
Day 8 asking rex to put a s14 bumper on the ef
YEOW!!!!!!!!!!!
You need to get it on a proper frame machine going to be cheaper to buy another straight one
I mean it’s lucky that it happened in the au not the chaser or anything right?
You should put a fairlane front end on it
Just buy another AU
