All the best guys!!!
i love the fact that you were able to focus every details of this baby for us. great job!
Always so interesting to see the insides of these machines. Thanks, grateful as ever...
You’re welcome!
I enjoyed that, well done. It would be a cool mod to coat the indices with lume.
indeed..the main and simpliest lack of this watch
What color you need? U have the black on and would try
I know this is 3 years later, but I just today took mine apart and lumed it with some BGW9. Waiting for it to dry but I can't wait to know what time it is in the dark!
Thanks for the teardown video of the carbon core guard's gshock, it makes me convinced, more convinced to buy another gshock 😂 thanks mate!
How many times can you change the battery before the metal screws destroys the plastic and you no longer put back the back plate?
Intresting video. Can you do this model modding video ? That would be cool !!
By the way. Where you buy your tools ?
specially that motorized screwdriver ?
I like how Casio has stamped No (0) Jewels on the steel plate at 09:35
Don't take the batteries with the metal pinset...use the plastic pinset.
This is one of G Shocks finest designs.Hopethey
looks exactly like a Gérald Genta design similar to the AP Royal Oak;Nothing new to the watch world. The digital displays are so small. Hard to see. If the digital display is a concern, I would pass. If not, its a nice watch.
@@heavyd9154 lol the 'Casioak'
Gloves, use gloves when you are disassembling a watch!
8:43, this watch do have auto light function. By long press the light button it will activate. 2 round thingy on the pcb actually are gyros which make light to turn on when tilt the watch.
I don't think it has an auto light function. I just tried to long press the light button but it didn't work.
can you tell me the diameter and thickness of the GA-2100 glas? I'm searching for a spare one out of saphire to replace the mineral one. Thx!
Do you use a Phillips or Jis screwdriver?
Does the carbon core guard case scratch easily?
¿Cómo pones de nuevo las manecillas?
Great video.
You forgot to take out the glass & marker outer ring.
Cool!
I was wondering if you could take the watch face with the white details of the 1AER and put it in the all black A1AER housing.
(I don't like the grey 'G-SHOCK' & 'PROTECTION' think it's too pronounced. I suppose that's why the black stealth has so much hype.
It looks the most like the AP by shape, because it's not broken up by the words that much.
Black stealth... just very hard to actually read the time, lol.
But I suppose you cannot buy just a casing. So you'd probably have to frankenrig two together. Bit of a shame.
@@shiznuts
I had to buy a new case (Casio calls it bezel) for £6.46 inclusive of postage direct from Casio as after just over 2 years it went all misshapen and the crystal hole was oval.
The stealth case is part # 10593722.
@@ro63rto Thanks! Yeah, I did some research back then and found out about that as well. I did actually swap it out! It's really neat that way!
@@ro63rto wow really? You can buy just the bezel for that cheap? That’s impressive, good on Casio for allowing that. I’ll definitely be doing that swap then
So many GITD chapter rings from SKXMOD and others on AliExpress now.
Please do one of these for the newly released GGB-100!!
Will work on it sir. Thanks for the suggestion.
gshock highfashion you da man! Love your channel !!
Wow. I thought this was a goner, didn't think you'd put it back together. Did you just reverse the disassembly video??!?
Do you think this watch will leak the battery as well? Any tips on how to prevent it from happening?
hi, replace the battery every 2 years and you wont have a problem unless you severally damage it.
@@arbiterofreason2068 Can I ask where you learned this information from? Experience?
@@Sturnburn772 I service watches
@@arbiterofreason2068 hi, do you think the new solar version will leak?
Thinking of getting the black and white one and just painting it black
Nooo
Love your deconstruction vids
Thanks for watching!
Thx for the sharing. What's the material of the lens of the watch? Arcylic?
Can show me the module size specification
hello,
is it normal that when im shaking my gshock 2100bp, the big pointer is shaking also?
Is it possible to access the LCD screen and convert it from negative to positive? thanks
you making me cringe. you are hacking the shit out of a nice watch.
I’d been wearing it ever since, as a beater. Works just fine. G-Shock are tough in and out. Don’t worry about it too much.
@@gshockhighfashion but all the scratches on dial from your screwdrivers...
Need this blackout in mini and it’s be perfect for me. Hopefully soon enough
what size screwdriver did you use to open the back plate?
HE NAILED IT
Do you know if there is a polarizing filter on the screen to make it inverted? I kind of want to mod one of these and make the display positive.
DS me 2. The negative on these 2100 are so hard to read
I have never seen an LCD not have a polarizing filter. You should be able to make any display positive or negative or colored anytime.
May I ask what screwdriver are you using?
Phone repairs tools, I bought from local hardware. No brand

New sub here..i have one of the ga b2100 color green. It's one of the new models in 2022, but the battery indicator is only 1 bar now. I know that ga b2100 is the tough solar and bluetooth version of ga 2100. My question are:
1. Is there solar panel inside ga b2100
2. Is the battery a special rechargable?
3. What type of the battery inside?
Much appreciated if you can help me. I have check the manual but no info about the battery type. I am just confused should i just recharge it in the sunlight, or i also need the replace the battery once in a while, but what type of the battery?
Waiting for what's inside of GG-B100 Mudmaster video
I'm gonna need a few more days. Will upload that a s a p. 🙏
@@gshockhighfashion 👍🏻
Thanks for this one! Very helpful!
You’re welcome!
Question can I change display to positiv its that possible?
Hi. It is possible to remove the minute markers plastic rim? I guess it is between the glass and the carbon core case? Have you tried to take it out with a presser? I want to paint the minute markers because they are so dark, and I can't read minutes 😂 thanks
Wow.... awesome..you are really good at this . Respect
You use a new screwdriver. 😍👌
Going electric.
Good luck to everyone in the contest !!!)
Gonna do the rainbow mod, so this was very helpfull.
Glad this helps
could you change the display to positive one?
Yes, gonna need to swap the front polarize sticker for that.
@@gshockhighfashion hope you can upload a tutorial video about how to replace a positive one, I think many people hate the ga-2100 negative display
Great, thanks for the tear down
Why ana digi have battery leak?...
Yes, me want know also!
@@butcherbakercandlestickmak2062 one year pass....lol
Nice job, very detail teardown you did.
Hello gshock highfashion Can you tell me what diameter and thickness is the crystal. Can I swap it for sapphire?
Great video I enjoy watching.. good job.. I hope 1 day I have ga-2100.. God bless..
Does the glass scratch easily? How does it compare to sapphire crystal?
Its mineral crystal glass .after sapphire it very better glass .no scratch easy
Good job once again , video on point , thanks
Oh my got the lack of finger cots is killing me bro! I hope you get the Rodico after
Unlike ever wrist watch ever, G-Shock watch are tough enough to handle oil/fingerprints though..
I cleaned them up when I'm done so I could take good photos after..so don't worry man. 😎👍
@@gshockhighfashion I service watches lol my OCD is flying outta control XD Nice vid bro
Does this model have the precision adjustment screw?
The resin band didn't have that feature. The only model I knew with precision screw is GWN-Q1000MCA model.
@@gshockhighfashion probably I formulated question wrong. I meant to ask about accuracy adjustment of the module (the screw, which allows to tune the clock to move faster / slower).
Ah I see, I'll have a look again, probably I'd missed it in the video. Will get back later.
@@gshockhighfashion ok
When later?
@@gshockhighfashion thanks for your video! Did you find any regulation trimmer? I opened mine and I can't find one.
Can you teardown the gst-s110?
I’ll disassemble a gst-w110 soon. Same thing though.
@@gshockhighfashion ok
Great video, very interesting. You can identify the GA-2100's manufacturing date through the serial number (9605T6) engraved on the back cover.
Thank u. It’s done 😄
Goodluck!
isn’t the thinnest.
The thinnest G-Shock is the GW-056 at 11mm.
This GA-2100 is 11.8mm.
The more you know.
And it's also an octagon. Just looked it up, never knew about it. Now I want it. Thanks.
Good Review ! I really hope can win this watch.
Goodluck!
Can someone tell me the lug width of this watch? :)
16mm like every DW-5600 series.
@@gshockhighfashion ty very much!
the steel tweezer takes out the battery, only a very bad master can do it, it destroys the battery, and when you return both batteries, they will be with different power, because they were shorted differently, it is even worse for the electronics of this watch, do not repeat this bad master, buy a plastic tweezer for the battery, it will not be conductive
Hi :)
Is this soft band like gw5000??
Nope. Just like a DW5600
whether the strap and bezel are also made of carbon?
No
then what materials are made of carbon in Ga2100?
@@luqman_aminnudin ?
im waiting for full digi for this model..
name of battery ?(duracell panasonic sony)
Doesn't matter which brand. They'll work the same. Casio usually will used Panasonic/Sony. I usually use Energizer. More expensive but longer lasting.
Hoping have a video to compare module between ga2100 vs gab2100
Like this if you support
Thanks nice
Good details & info 👌🏻
What is inside MRG?

I agree.

Good video but everything is out of focus. Perhaps change the DOF on your camera, it doesnt need to be this shallow.
good job bro.

I always wonder how electronic chip works and how humans got an idea of creating it.
Aliens.
Very good👍👍👍
Your watchmaker's skills are even more impressive than the watch itself! 👍
XD
Thanks for sharing. But the constant out of focus video is giving me a headache watching this video.
As a watchmaker, it's hard to watch how you removed the hands
Yeah,, gotta improvise a bit on the tools. I'll get a 'proper' for future videos 🤞
next time, please use gloves
No finger cots is a killer, I cant stand opening a watch up and seeing big moisture laden fingerprints on movement! Even if it's just a $100 dollar Casio I'd still have to get the Rodico out and make it right... It can actually cause damage sometimes. Especially the amont this handsy boi touches it bare hands lol
Sorry but that's not the slimmest G-SHOCK
Yes. Its a slimmest original g shock
@@dausgyver1079 GW-056
(2005), far superior and original imo.
👍🇨🇴🇪🇦⌚
What I did learn from this video... Don't remove the watch hands with screwdrivers.
How bad is your autofocussing 😢it sucks to see video
Yeah, I need to work on those, I'll improve on future videos. Thank you!
Without the gshock branding, this could be one of Casio’s $30 tough solar watches. Except even those at least have solar. This watch is overpriced being nothing but a bunch of plastic injection pieces with a basic movement. I don’t buy the carbon core gimmick.
@Roberto Vidal Garcia For this particular watch it is. It's cheaply made.
Can you suggest a cheaper alternative with the same design and functionality?
@@urindejbwhi24584 you wont find one with the same design because no one clones Casio watches. Can find some better built resin watches with same or more functionality for cheaper everywhere. Or if you’re into the “royal oak” look, with less functions in stainless, Casio Edifice EFR-S108D
You are poor person 😂😂😂😂
@@Rajanand001 You live in India? 😂😂
10:50 good luck removing all the dust.. a pain the ass
Not as hard as I thought apparently.
glad to see those g shock watches being dismatled. Thanks for the video.
1:40 I currious whether all ga2100/2110 type have similar "made in japan" machine? Or just for particular colorway?
The dial ring that's still inside the case, under the crystal... is it removable?
Oh man your sure have a future in watch repair..lol
I wish. Still got a lot to learn though.

Please do the review on GWG1000 Mudmaster! Open up the inside and let us know how good the Q.C. is!
Thank you very much!
If the performance of my GWG-1000 is anything to go by the insides will be very robust. It's seen a lot of abuse and works and looks as if it was a day old... Amazing watch
Here you go. I didn't get in all the way though:
ua-cam.com/video/-jVz7TzWDQU/v-deo.html
Do you think it would be possible to replace the module with a four button digital solar module??
Consider doing a vid on replacing the battery and shorting out the ac to reset the watch. Thx
Finding it really difficult to get a replacement bezel that matches my original one and it's strap.
I have the full stealth 1a1er model and it is definitely black.
Ordered one from Casio which came to UK from Tokyo using the part number they gave me.
It arrived very quickly but I noticed it was fluorescing a dark blue colour at night when I charge up the hands with my UV torch whereas the original doesn't.
In the daytime, it looks a dark grey colour not black like the original.
Casio first tried asking where I bought it and wanted a pic of the rear. Then I also sent them the receipt and pic of the box stickers. They then said oh you have the 1aer model so you'll have to buy that one.
Er, CASIO gave me the part number so why should I have to pay for another one. Besides, the 1aer is the model with white writing, white cheaper markers and white hand lume which is not mine.
Anyway I think u got to the bottom of it.
They sent me the bezel for a GA2100CA-8aer which has a grey bezel/strap and a camo dial.
Can't believe Casio don't even know their own products and try to blame the customer.
Blame the single person who process the order. I send plenty of G-Shock to their service center and just by talking with the staff I realised they aren't like us fans who knows the little details.
The staff barely understand what the reference number means and to check the computer first to be sure. This was in Tokyo, Japan.
Sorry bro your wrong, slimmest G watch is G-056/Gw-056 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Please make a video on what's inside GA100 thank you
please tell me, what is the thickness of the glass?циферблат поцарапан.😮
I'm a little upset you did this to a triple black because in April of 2020 they're going for almost $300 since they sold out from Casio, lol, but still pretty awesome video man!
i recomend just buy the black n white it also look good and cheaper....the all black very expensive 300 ...i m so happy own this watch coz they launch 1day after my brithday and the design not too big and bulky .....so worth it to buy
I bought the all black one in a store in Germany for 99...
Great video, what's the background music?
Since the GA2100 (original Casioak), GM2100 (metal version), and GMAS2100 (smaller version) all use the same 5611 module, is it possible to swap the dial-modules between the carbon cores of each of the aforementioned series? If so, that means you can put an aftermarket AP Royal Oak-inspired mod kit on the GA2100/GMAS2100's carbon core with the GM2100's dial-module.
I just tried this, it doesn't work (unless you don't care about the index markers). the gm2100 module can fit in the ga2100 housing, however the index markers for the gm2100 are a fixed part of the housing, whereas the index markers for the ga2100 are a detachable part of the face of the module. the face of the ga2100 module has some fitting on the dial to make room for the index marker ring, whereas the gm2100 dial does not. so you can put the gm2100 in the ga2100 housing, but you will have no index markers :(
@@rez_daddy Would love to know if the grey 2110's non inverted LCD panel would fit in a silver GM2100.
Maaan excellent deconstruction video as always🙏 thanks!!
I noticed a problem with my bezel. Only after 1 week.. If i push on leff or right side (bezel squeeze) i notice a small small gap next to the glass. Let me know if you find similar issues. It's not really a big deal but just wondering if its only me.. Thanks again
I haven't had that issue yet but I'd seen that happen usually on older models after the resin starts to aged. It didn't affect anything though, it just looks a bit odd.
bro i also just buy the same model with blue colour and i also felt the same problem
Interesting dude, once again.
Thanks!
