It’s really nice to see how happy you are, I’m glad that your able to do this as a part time job. I do hope your channel grows so you can have it as your full time job.
Great video and some excellent trout fishing there. Now thats how its done. And that nice chub was a beauty. To bad about the salmon but next time i am sure.
Wow that second trout was a stonker!!!! I haven't caught one close to that in about 12 years, it was really long aswell so a can see why you weren't sure what it was until the net. Also have to say that chicken sandwich 🥪 was destiny m8.. look where it got you and I'm glad you do it as a part time job as your videos are always entertaining and you fish some absolutely stunning locations.
Way back when I was a young lad , I caught the first salmon of the season . Was at a place called mennock foot lodge in Sanquhar . got my name in the trout and salmon magazine. River Nith .
I have to say in terms of nature's beauty wild brown trout really are one of the most stunning in colour because they catch the light and display golds n greens you won't see on any other wild fish.
Awesome video. I just reached your channel looking for fishing activity in Liverpool. I'm living here for the next month and I'm a fishing passionate. Cheers from Brazil mate!
Just amazing. I mean every trout was a beauty, but the big female and male were just absolute stunners. Ended my season last week with 6 crazy looking rainbows. Tight lines and much love buddy 🥰
@@adventurefishinguk well the second one is for sure a male because of the hook on the underside of the mouth. that´s typical when trout reach a certain size or age. the first one COULD be a male but at this size i really doubt it.
@@adventurefishinguk awesome 👍 i love trout fishing, joined a local club that has nice perch, rainbow trout, brown trout and blue trout. Still not had a blue, but the rainbows and browns go ballistic haha.
The thought did cross my mind, but it also had very vibrant red spots which I believe don’t usually come back like the colour does! Although I could be wrong
@@adventurefishinguk Seatrout and brown trout are EXACTLY the same species, Salmo Trutta, only for some reason some decide to chance their hand in the sea. When they return to fresh water and stay for a long spell, their original characteristics often return, red spots and all
@@nicholasmoore6716 so you think it could have been at sea maybe a year or two ago rather than this season? Also, what makes you think it’s not just a big one that hasn’t gone to sea?
@@adventurefishinguk sorry ive been unclear George, what I mean is the fish left the sea to enter the river to spawn and has remained in the river for a long time, as often happens for instance during periods of low water. Should it decide to return to sea it will once again develop its silvery hue
Be thankful you've only blanked 5 times for salmon this year I'm at least 6 times that amount 😂. Stunning trout you had there amazing pattern on the one you got on the flying c.
Haha yeah I suppose it could be worse! And you’re right that one on the flying C was unbelievable. Although not as big as the other definitely my favourite
Try some Toby spoons they work a charm my first ever time out fishing for salmon I used a flying c spinner about my 5th cast and a 10 pound salmon smashed my lure, flying c spinners and Toby spoons work a charm
Yeah those are what I’d been using most of the season with no luck unfortunately! Been a tough year for my salmon fishing, at least I had one by mistake in spring!
Again a great vid and a lot of nice fish. Are you allowed to float the streams you are fishing? Just curious as it helps to get into some areas that can’t normally get into easily.
That was awesome mate. Are these places you go to day ticket??? Just wondering because I’ve found some places on google maps and I’ve got no idea whether to just turn up and try them or try find out who owns em?? Cheers mate
Thanks mate! This is a club unfortunately with no day tickets, plenty of places with day tickets if you know where to look! Lots of google research and a bit of turning up and looking for signs should point you in the right direction 👍
i got my first 3 salmon on the fly this season , needless to say i dont think i will spin again unless conditions demand it , good luck in the future @@adventurefishinguk
Brown trout The smaller they are more beautiful they are, if i fish for trouts dont know wich one i wish to catch big one or smaller one 🤔😅 nice video mate 👌🎣🐟 also would be nice if anglers could pic up all trash they left after them self👍
It happened again on a smaller scale, same place apparently. EA haven't given any updates and I don't think anything has been done about it. Not the news I want to be giving out but unfortunately it feels like the system has some big issues

Great video mate! You've worked hard to get your channel where it is! Great to see your journey!
Thanks mate I appreciate that!
Those larger trout in the vid, especially the second one are worth any salmon George.
Thanks for sharing.👍
Very good point, as you could probably hear I was blow away with those! The nicest trout I’ve ever caught since starting the UA-cam channel probably!
Excellent mate,some nice fish there,Great video 👍🏻
Thanks mate, two of the best i've ever had in this video i'd say!
Excellent trout! Great seeing those sub numbers rising too mate.

Well done! I've fished for salmon a lot and have only caught 3 in my life
Some nice fish, well done - and I'm pretty sure that hole is a badger sett or den.
Thank you! It definitely looked big enough to house a badger
I have to say in terms of nature's beauty wild brown trout really are one of the most stunning in colour because they catch the light and display golds n greens you won't see on any other wild fish.
I agree, nothing out there beats them in my opinion! There are some American native species that come close though
Another great video George, those trout were stunning colours. If you want to catch salmon, ask Georgia for some tips before you go 😂
Thanks Mick, amazing aren’t they! And yeah haha I’ll make sure I do next time

Smashing fish George, lovely river that, let me now next time you come over to Anglesey, maybe we could do a collab.😊😊😊

Good episode mate, nice trout....... Also is there not any perch or pike in that river,,, you'd think you'd hook up to one on a spinner if there was?
Thanks mate! No there aren't any pike at all, i've seen a very small perch once though. Maybe from a neighbouring lake after a flood!
Super video, like being on the bank with you. that trout was insanely pretty
The second slightly smaller one? I thought so too, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Thanks for watching mate 👍
