Thank you Delilah! This video was so well done and the way you explained everything in detail really made sense and clicked in my brain. 💕 I have been struggling with what I've been told is a "double crown." Aka one cowlick on each side of my crown. It has been the bane of my existence!! I only discovered my waves a few years ago, and most of the tips I've gotten online are the exact opposite of what you say. Start with soaking wet hair, tip upside down, don't touch it while drying etc. I am excited to try all your tips and pray for the best!!🙏🥰
I’ve heard it was called a “whirl” but I looked that up and that is simply a cowlick. LOL I put two teeny butterfly clips in mine overnight and that works well for me.
I have some of the same issues as you do. The difference is that my hair is more wavy than curly. To be clear, you're not leaving your hair so wet as to hear the *squelch* right?
Thank you for the tips! I struggle every wash day with this!
Hope they help!
I have what I refer to as a split crown. Ugghh. So hard to hide, but I'll give your tips a try, especially upright styling vs upside down.
Let me know own how it goes.

I've tried that but they get tangled. I'm glad it works for you.

Yeah, it's wet but not that wet.
