Those stairs remind me of my walk to high school in North Vancouver... I enjoy your peaceful music and points of view -- in your garden and along your walk. Especially the footage at dog level. Love the garden decor. Walkies are relaxing. Great great outdoor video. Excellent music choice. Use caster oil for tha knee. Not drink, but on the knee. Research how to use caster oil on painful areas on body. Thanks for great nature videos.
Hello, Jen! So, in today's video I noticed in the photo of your leg that it looks as if you may have had knee surgery at some point on your left knee (lightly visible scar). Is that the case? If so, can you maybe make a video of your experience with that being silver and solo? I am going to need a total knee replacement on my left knee soon and thought you might be able to share your thoughts. I am scared and anxious as I have never had surgery of any kind. If I assumed incorrectly, please forgive me. 🙂
Nope, you're not wrong! I had a tendon replacement on my left knee in my 20's. So, I haven't had a knee replaced...yet, but my mother had BOTH of hers replaced at the age of 73! She did them 4 months apart, so had to rehab the new one very quickly in order to have the second one done, and she did it! The surgeon didn't think it was such a big deal. I remember she was incredibly cranky and demanding of my poor father while doing the rehab, but that she followed all of her Physio's exercises every day, no matter how difficult and painful they were. She's 82 now and both of her knees are in great shape, she says it was hard, but the pain from her old arthritic ones was unbearable. She's very happy she did it.

Very smart, your Patreon. Your time and sweat equity in figuring things out is worth payment. Tutorials abound on the 'tube, and elsewhere, yet commenters constantly bombard content creators with "how'd you do it" questions. If asked "what did you try?", the questioners would stare blankly.

Ha! It means the same here...but the type of bear I named the level after is called a "Kermode" bear...I have a hard time pronouncing it clearly! The nickname for it is Spirit Bear, so I tend to use that for it instead... :)

If you're not doing the UA-cam financial updates on here I wonder if your channel might not just stall. That is what I subscribed for. A UA-camr's journey is interesting. I guess you need to weigh up UA-cam ad revenue against Patreon and see which pays the bills better, but you had explosive growth on here with your honest journey about monetising. I wish you the best whichever way you go, it's your journey and your call. Just an honest observation from over the pond. Thank you for your insights so far though, it has been very enjoyable and informative.

My brother lives in Bellingham, Washington, and I recognize where you are walking and where he walked (his dog has passed away). They look very similar. My brother is from the state where I live, and it is very different here, 2125 miles away as the crow flies, or 2,692 miles by car.

I understand what you’re saying, but your 4th best video is about UA-cam (200K+) views. Technical “how to” type stuff is obviously not a fit, but I think UA-cam is part of your story. But what do I know? Congratulations on your success.

I was someone interested in learning about your steps into getting a UA-cam channel off the ground Jen but at this stage to ask for payment is too soon. As you say you are new to this and learning. There are many others out there far more experienced who give advice for free. Its a shame as I would prefer to follow your baby steps and if I found value I would certainly have signed up to pay you something for your time. But far too soon to do this me thinks.
No problem! That's why I moved the "UA-cam" related stuff off this channel and over to Patreon. I want to keep them separate.
