Yeah! Good morning Jen👋👋💖 and all of the Silver and Solo Gang😊💖💖
Good morning Jen and all from Paula in Ohio USA. 👋
Good morning everyone! Thanks for tuning in!
13:51 Love the yellow plants .
I found this channel this week and a lot you say makes a lot of sense...you are my role model I have learnt a lot from your videos..lots of love from Nairobi Kenya..
What a beautiful walk with those surroundings. Very calming.
What a beautiful Sunday walk- thank you for sharing it with us!
Glad you enjoyed it
Good to watch your Sunday walk. Lydia from Texas💖❤💖
Hello all the way from Portugal! The area where you live is beautiful! Loved your guests the rabbits 😂🐇🐇
Love to see a happy and busy doggy running along ❤
Hi Jen. You project strength and confidence and you’re nice to hang out with. I will keep coming back and bless you. 🙏
You should plant some carrots to keep them out of your peas and maybe you will get some extra carrots for yourself and dog. Mopsy, Flopsy, Topsy and Peter Rabbit love McGreger’s Garden.
Jen you are a joy in strength.
Haven’t been following you for long.
I love all the things!
I am recovering from surgery and you are now my #1 inspiration to regain my health.
Thank you for what and the way you do things. Your way lol
Good morning!
Do you ever read the comic Overboard? Some characters are anthropomorphic rabbits who eat the little gardener's crop on a regular basis. There's a product called Repels All available at the garden store that is a scent-based critter deterrent. Non-toxic, just makes the area smell like a predator.
I've never read it and the Repels All sounds like something I'll look into! Thanks!
Love your walks. Gets me motivated to do my walk even with the rain today ☺️
Good morning from the Midwest of USA!
Such a beautiful video. And the views. Bad bunnies eating your peas, but they're just so darn cute!
Thanks for taking us along on your walk. So peaceful and serene. Have a wonderful Sunday, Jen.❤❤
What a pretty place to take a morning walk. Enjoy your videos thanks for sharing.
Such a beautiful environment. Nature is beautiful
I could not believe how beautiful! It was like walking through a fairy tale garden!! Thank you for showing us!! ❤❤❤
I am hopping to monetize my channel ❤ Your videos always inspire me, as i have being quite unlucky in that department 😅 i hope you have a wonderful day
Good morning Jen, we just subscribed to your channel. You are so cool!!!
Welcome!!
Good morning! Beautiful walk. Was very relaxing to join you.
Absolutely beautiful walk, thank you for taking us along! I especially love the one tree that seems to be growing horizontally over the pathway and the meadow that your adorable doggy was frolicking in. Love the “bears,” (a.k.a. bunnies, lol!) I used to live in the Sierra Nevada foothills and understand a lot about living around bears, mountain lions, and everything that goes along with sharing the environment with them.❤
Nothing better than nature and a dog. Thank you so much for letting us share your walk.💜
So beautiful and calming ! Thank you.
❤ Many, many thanks, beautiful soul🌻🌻
I think those two creatures might want to remain anonymous. So… if you ever came upon a black bear, would you back away slowly or run? My family owns an isolated island on the Ontario border of Lake of the Woods and only once we have encountered a Mama bear with three cubs. It frightened me enough that I have had bear dreams all my life. I think you brave
When we come upon a bear, I leash Skye right away and make our presence known. If the bear doesn't turn around, then we do!
@@silverandsolo Sounds smart. I have yet to meet a bear on our 24 acre island other than childhood, but my Mom knew what she was doing when the bear and cubs came up to our cabin door. She took the pots and pans and scared the shit out of them and told my Dad to put the gun away. Off they went down the path. Its remote country but as natural and serene as the natives saw it thousands of years ago. I know what special living feels like and also animals eating all my geraniums and tulips. So fun to watch your channel
Cute bunnies, for sure. But not good if you want the peas for yourself.
Their cuteness works in their favour.... :)
So gorgeous. The music is so pretty too❤️
Hey Jen, I’m from North Carolina just found your channel enjoy it and see the hard work keep going !
Sounds are nice too
Lovely Sunday morning. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing = you live in a very beautiful place
Happy Sunday. You live in a beautiful area. Very similar to mine in Washington state. Thanks for sharing!
Good morning, Jen! Do you have to drive to the forest trail or can you access it directly from your property? That's the only thing that often deters me from walking every morning…it's a lotta work getting my 75 lb. senior boxer lady into the truck so we can drive 2-3 miles to the nearest trail. Take care!
I'm lucky that these paths are right outside my front door. :)
Good morning !
Double plant the amount of peas so that they have their own!!!! Ha! I double planted lettuce when rabbits were feasting in my garden. At 4:47: When you yell at them, they stop and look at you: "What's she saying? Don't bring any fleas??? We don't have fleas!! Gee, these peas are great!" 😂
I swear, they hear me and don't care!
Good morning Jen 🌞☀️I enjoy your video vlogs so much! The scenery & views along your walks are so beautiful! Thanks for sharing it! It’s so calming and peaceful! So happy I found your channel! Have a wonderful day 😁looking forward to all your content!
Beautiful walk! If I could go on a nature walk like that every day there would be NO WAY I would ever be depressed!🙂 I would rather have bears than ugly irrational and unpredictable wild pigs like we have here....😳🐷
Good day Jen and Friends. Thanks for sharing this beautiful walk! You are so inspiring. I am trying to create online income also at silver 62... and you are of great help. So keep going. I hope to make it at some point. Greetings from Costa Rica.
The bunnies are cute but they sure can do some damage to our plants! LOL
They're cute tho!
Beautiful & refreshing! Thank you for sharing! 💜⚘️
Love watching you walk your dog in this area! Dog and you and treed paths are a gorgeous sight.
So beautiful!
Love the sound of his bell in the background to the music.
What appears to be thousands of acers of greenery and the bunnies only have eyes for your peas. LOL!
Go figure, eh?
The sound of the gravel, bell and music are so comforting to me. I want to learn how to make videos and am watching but I don't even know how to check for a response to my comment yet! 😅
Good morning Jen. What a beautiful trail you have to walk on. I live in the northeast USA and have alot of room between properties. In the springtime, bear walk through with their cubs. I make sure to keep my border collie on her lead. I do carry bear spray more for my own feeling of security than being threatened by bear. Never happened.
Same. When the blackberries come out along our regular walking trails, Skye will have to be on lead as the bears just gorge themselves on the berries and are often present when we walk, Same with the salmon run time, lots around then too. But there's never been a report of a bear attacking a person. Ever.
Just saw where you live- have never been there but see how beautiful it is! I was born in New Brunswick. We immigrated to NC in the USA in 1961 but the majority of my family still live up home. 💗
Good morning from Southern California! This is my first time watching you. I found your channel in the middle of the night when I couldn’t sleep. Thanks for what you do!
Hello So Cal neighbor 👋 Isn’t Jen great?
@@vminnis2512 She’s FABULOUS!
@@chiweenieacres3870And another SoCal neighbor! Good morning to you both!
This walk felt magical to me. It’s like a little fairy land. How blessed you are to have this beautiful place to escape to. 💐🥰
Beautiful dog walk & I loved the accompanying music. 🎶 I used to live in Canmore Ab for about 8 years. I walked in the mountains everywhere. You are correct the animals are not waiting around ever corner to attack. They keep away. I had respect & common sense and was not at all afraid. In all those years I only saw 2 bears and they were across a river far away. They stood up smelled the air and ran as far away & as fast as they could. You and Skye are in such a gorgeous spot. Very lucky. In wild areas all little creatures want to eat the produce lol 😊
I wondered why your dog was so "jingley" and nowI know. Bear bell!
This first video of you and your dog walking.
Good Morning. Been looking forward to your vlog.
PS: my dog wears a bear bell (on certain trails) as well.
Do you own all the property you walk on? Seems isolated? Are you ever afraid of coming across anyone who might harm you? I'm afraid to walk by myself.
No, it's government owned land and I never feel afraid, other people are just walking their dogs or going fishing or taking photos of wildlife.
Hi ! I'm really enjoying your channel! I'm a dog lover myself. It's refreshing to hear of real stories . I want to learn about video editing. You said you use da Vinci resolve. Did you buy it? It's rather expensive and I noticed they have a free download. Was that enough? Also do you edit your videos on the computer or phone? I would like to give it a shot. I'm not experienced either. I'm in my golden years 67 and any advice is sweet! Love the video thanks !
I use the free version of DaVinci and I edit on my laptop, but take the videos on my phone.
11:43 Amazing tunnel formation!!!!
I thought maybe....good times
I love your videos and I realize that you are a wealth of pleasure to listen to. I am so encouraged that today, I created my own channel following your style. Your ease and calm manner is so compelling that I am a subscriber and will use you as my model. Keep up the fabulous work.
Wonderful!
People who tell me that they take weapons camping or hiking because they are afraid of animals, make me laugh. I always tell them that I'm more afraid of people than I am animals.
LOL! I choose the bear!
they're sleeping on the job!
What a beautiful walk! Thanks for taking us with you 🥰
That was fun! Felt like I was along for your walk!
Do you have an assistant? How did you get the shots of you walking?
Nope, it's all me. I run ahead, set up the camera, then walk back and walk toward the camera. Later, in the edit, I cut out ALLLLLLL of the parts of me setting up and taking down the camera. It makes our walks about twice as long and Skye is confused why I'm forever walking back and forth and calling her back!
What a pretty trail! Do you walk it early morning? It seems like it would be a very busy one at times.
Yes, the ones I film are early in the morning, and sometimes I meet another regular with their dog, but usually not. Later in the day it's a fairly popular spot for dog walking...
So relaxing to watch - thank you!
Jen, you music is wonderfully relaxing and uplifting while I work. You video shots are getting so good. I bought a gimble after you mentioned it in a previous episode... I never even heard of a gimble before. So much to learn as content creators!
I think you are an honest and nice lady, thanks
Love the simplicity of your walk today! Do you walk daily?
Usually twice a day...the dog does not let me forget!
Loved this vlog ... always so enjoyable seeing your nature walks! Name the cute bunnies "Alex and Annie" or "Fitz and Floyd" or "Bonnie and Clyde". LOL Tina
Much as I like to think that I don't talk to myself, Jen, I must admit to just blurting out, "Oh, what a pretty tree!". Thanks for the lovely walk with you and Skye! ❤
Good morning! Such a beautiful walk. Thank you for sharing! I’ve just started watching your channel very inspiring! Thank you💜
Loving your talks, just a beautiful walk…how long do you and doggy walk and how far?…
I usually get in about 6-7k steps daily.
@@silverandsolo wow, that’s so good…
Good morning, Jen! Just discovered your channel last week. I enjoy your content and relaxing dog walks. I really enjoyed your first dog walk without the music because I can hear all of the forest sounds and the cadence of your walk on the gravel. Just my preference.🙂 Maybe you can have some without music once in awhile?🙂
Happy peaceful Sunday! ☕️☕️
I could NEVER walk my dog off leash! He’d be gone! Beautiful area!! TY for sharing. ❤
True. The bears aren’t really interested in us. They want our garbage. My mom has found old salmon filets in the backyard amongst other trash several times. Not ours, some neighbor’s. We have a trash shed with the cans in it. It is supposed to be latched but that night it wasn’t. The side door camera caught a bear opening its lid and peering in. The shed tipped over on the bear and it slunk away! It wasn’t hurt and the video is quite hilarious 😅 I was at my car in the yard one night and a bear passed by me like 15 feet away, just ambling towards his next destination. It couldn’t have cared less about me. Later that night I heard it knock the hanging plants and bump against my bedroom wall as it made its way back. Fascinating! But I’ll never taunt or tease. Just remain cool and clean up if needed in the morning. The gosh darn neighbors just keep flipping and it’s impossible to educate them on garbage etiquette. 😄 When I was little there was a lady on the street who regularly fed the coyotes. SMH 🤷♀️ Thanks for the video! 💐
Nice balance of music and natural sounds.
I'm also in Washington (South of you) and some friends have bear bells on their horses when we ride out in the wild. Makes perfect sense.
I have been listening to the cozy cafe music you recommended. I listen to similar music and do like that also. Thanks for the video. ❤️
I have wild bunnies in my yard. I don’t garden so they are just munching on my grass. They are welcome to visit and my dog is accepting of them as well.Lovely walk.
This is a very timely video. Our property has a forest behind it and for the first time last week a bear was spotted roaming along the path. The DNR was called and the bear was returned to the woods where it was believed he came from. Living on the words I know I share this property with the animals and I'm good with that too. But as you said I'm very respectful of their living quite close to me and coming into my yard. Esp the white squirrel! Thank you for taking us on your lovely walk.
What a lovely path! Thank you for sharing these blissful moments with us! Good luck with the peas! ❤️🐶🐢🐇
Furmum here too❤🐈🐕Skye defines cuteness...bless you love from 🇬🇧
Happy Sunday Jen. I always look forward to my Sunday visit with you and Skye and the beautiful peaceful walk. Love to soothing music as well. I wondered about bears there, too. And, folks around here do battle so-to-speak with rabbits and their gardens. But, we have other critter garden raiders as well. But, they are so gosh-darned cute, it's hard to stay mad at them. 😂 Have a lovely week and I look forward to your Wednesday vlog. 😊🐶🐰
Good Sunday morning walk with great view, looking forward in every blog you upload. Shout out from Calgary ❤🥰
We have bunnies too. One has a penchant for lying spread eagled on his tummy in the shade of the cedars, so we named him Splat Bunny.
Good morning from Minnesota. Your peaceful walk is lovely, good music.
Hi Jen! Cute bunnies in the garden! They may be looking for a place to build a nest. Just found a hole in my garden today, with rabbit hair in it. Must be almost time! Beautiful walk. Happy Sunday!
Nice mixed forestry. Looks wonderful 🎉🎉
Wonderland
I was awake at the first lights of the sunrise yesterday, I looked out my bedroom window and my fig tree was shaking, and I thought it was the wind then I noticed the other trees were not shaking. Then I noticed a big gray furry rear end and legs amongst the leaves, as it left the tree I could see it was a huge raccoon, the figs are not ripe yet. I hope there will be some left for me :) this is in the middle of the city in Portland Oregon, we also deal w lots of squirrels and coyotes.
❤ I too had a little visitor last spring. The little one (tiny fawn from my plum grove), tottled over past my legs & nibbled the tops off my green beans.
Do you have bird feeders? I heard they attract bears which is sad for the birds.
Correct. No bird feeders for me...however if it snows and the snow stays for more than a day, I put one out until it disappears...just to help them!
Awesome.
Anyone seen that video of a man sitting in the woods in his camping chair, and the gear comes up and sits next to him?
Love the background music!
Beautiful!
That was a beautiful nature video. Nature is like food for the soul. 😊
I love your Sunday vlogs. It’s so relaxing. Love your visitors too.
