- The folks over at President are at it again! This time the have come up with a solution for states and companies that don't allow for mics while driving. This unit straps to your steering wheel and works via BT. Pretty cool!

Great video! Sadly where I live the new truckers are lazy and drive in the left lanes blocking traffic. Some have CB's and I do ask them to drive in the right lane where they belong. Never a friend response !
Lots of illegal alien drivers😊
Karma will come to them one day- It is dangerous for them to do that
Wondering if available in 8pin for hf mobile?..
Sounds pretty good 👍
Love the radio content no matter what kind. Thank you very much. Enjoyed it
Glad you enjoyed it
I like the concept.
I do as well
I saw that on another video last week and I was impressed on how well the mic performed, the clarity and sensitivity sounded great from a receiving President Lincoln radio.
It is a great idea- I was happy with the sound of it
Excellent way to solve the problem! Where can I find a list of states that don't allow CB use while driving? President always comes through!
Legal in all 50 states no state can Trump federal law
I think that is kinda a gray area- there are plenty of states that have legalized things that are still illegal on the federal level.
Thank you sir,
Regards from
North Rocky Mountains UssA 😊
Anytime Rocky Mountain
Radio check, nobody there 😂 Not as popular as their hay day in the 70’s but I still own one. Looks like a handy mic. Thank you for sharing good buddy.
I want to strap that thing to my wrist, push transmit, and say "beam me up scotty"🤣😂
I guess where I live there are still plenty of users, guess it helps when cell reception is spotty at best
@2148aa- that is a great idea
That is a neat piece of equipment, I really like President radios.
Agreed- President has really been trying to up their game
I think I ‘need’ this for my President George which arrives Tuesday. I have my McKinley II FCC in dash also! Took out the double din stereo that I hadn’t finished hooking up and got a single din just to make it happen and am happy with it. I like the way it looks and it’s convenient. Got some cables, antennas and a RigExpert aa650 Zoom arriving next week and will see if I can get them dialed in for max performance. Mounted the Lincoln II+ yesterday but am waiting for the President George and the RigExpert meter before attaching an antenna and keying up. Got to fix my new Uniden 885 because of high SWR’s! Hopefully I don’t ruin too many more radios😅
You did not "ruin" in, it is more of a learning lesson of what not to do
good segment. Bluetooth allows so many different connections. thanks for sharing. i didn't know there were states that didn't allow mike use. i knew you couldn't use a phone but i didn't think it included CB microphones....
Many states are going to the hands free thing, I think part of it is pressure from the insurance companies to limit distractions while driving
@@FarpointFarms i can understand if for a telephone.....but a CB. Thats a little far reaching.....jmho
Thanks man
You're welcome
I think a ham license enables you to use a hand microphone even in states where they prohibit it. It has something to do with a mic not being an earpiece and microphone all in one unit. The AARL has some documentation on it somewhere. I'm sure a GMRS license would do the same thing, I carry both documents in my car just in case I get pulled over for using my CB or something.
I wonder how this would be with ATV usage. I'm mostly looking for something that plugs into a Baofeng and Randy III CB handheld. There's more people that use GMRS though for off roading in my area, but occasionally I hear chatter on channel 4 on cb. Rarely on ham.
That dongle looks like it would work with my Anytone 6666, I might get one.
It is for a 6 pin so if it has that, it should work
It sounds great.
Thanks
I need Bluetooth unit fer cb in my motorcycle helmet with mike, sound.,and maybe vox or a ptt on my left hand grip.
Definitely for riding on a motorcycle, help keep you safe
great idea . sounds great . the QT 60 has good sounding receive. skip been weird the past few days in NY. solar storm. still getting DX on Ch 38 LSB CB . and outher channels. I got NY to TX 38 LSB with some odd noise and signal fading .
I tired my radio yesterday and did not pick up anything- it was early quiet
@@FarpointFarms some of the Ham bands and SW bands the same way. Solar weather is the cause. what skip I got had back scatter and lots of atmospheric noise. it's part of the 11 year solar cycle. the day time shoer wave stations been effected as well . night is good .
Can these be expanded? The locals talk on lower 40. Also IF YOU NEED a CB with a remote head unit, the only thing I can see is the Yaesu FT-891 with MARS mod. There were some European models, but they are discontinued. The space in modern cars, there is just no room for a Cobra 29..... we need remote head export/CB´s.
Cobra 75 all road looks like a winner to me…
I am not sure on that one, sorry
Great review! I think this would work well with any cb!! Is this only for president radios?? Enjoyed
It needs to be a 6 pin like the presidents are- So if they are wired like them, then use
Great videos! Thank you! How about a video about modern power microphones. Silver eagle used to be king. What’s best today?
I would have to research this more to give you a good answer. I will see if I am able to make a video on them.
Nice
Thanks
I also have cobra 148 gtl cheat sheet if you’re interested. I ask you if you had one. You said you have been asked a few times. Figured you can pass it along.
If you want to email it to me= that would be great. farpoint.farm.survival@gmail.com
I will
Greetings, it would be good to know where you can buy the product and put it to the test.
right channel radios is showing them in stock
Would this work with the Randy2?
It would not, sorry
Definitely interesting. From what I’ve read and been told by State Troopers, cb’s are exempt from the hands free law in Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida. I
Arkansas also
That is good to know, thanks for sharing it. Other states are big sticklers on ticketing people
Do you know Negan Smith
Kinda glad I don't, he seems kinda moody sometimes
I bet it’s made in China 😂
OK- and what is not made in China? I'll wait why you try to find that out..
@@FarpointFarms P Ditty made none of his problems in China. 🤣😂🤔
