Finally a Minecolonies series that doesn't put me to sleep, i like the use of the time lapses, this mod is slow i could not get into it.
I love to play with the mine colonies mod quite often. The reason why the fisherman might have ended up on the other side of the river might have happened, because, if you plave a building close to the border, the border automatically expands by one or two chunks (If I remember correctly)
So, the other side of the river or the edge now also is part of the colony. Also, be aware, the more different variations of houses you wanna build the more difficult it gets to upgrade them later on, als you need more and more of these different types of wood. Might be good for now, but in the final stages, it's challenging. So, for beginners, I'd suggest to go with one building style only.
Anyways, you made a good start there and I hope you'll have a lot of fun playing with the mod and expanding your village to a flourishing lovely town.

So i will say i started a playthrough afteer seeing this, which is nice after medieval dynasty that im grinding with my brother. this is a peaceful grind
Hey! Loved your old Minecolonies videos, am excited to see you returning to it. You might be aware of it already, but there is a mod called Freecam which allows you to get those aerial views for placing without switching gamemodes. Some folks prefer that since it’s faster and allows you to stay in survival mode. Can’t wait to see the next episodes!

I don't agree on building in a flat area, it is indeed much easier, but will make your town look flat and boring.
Yeah it's more for newer players but just an idea, not something I would say is essential
Yeah, Minecolonies!! I've been waiting a long time for you to do another series on this mod. At some point, you should change the sails of the docked ship to those of the Black Pearl to go with your skin. I don't think it would be a huge deal for you to take from the stores of the new ship, since they're just duplicates of what you get with your original camp. Might want to go over the farming in a bit more detail since Minecolonies now has a different system. I'm not familiar with it myself, but it seems there are a lot of new vegetables and meals to be made.
You can use the food on the ship.
If you place it normally, it will just spawn it with all of the things anyway, just like creative mode.

I don't mind you using resources from the ship, saves you a few gathering trips and whatnot.
Amazing vid but i did have a question what version are you playing on because i cant seem to find the spot even tough i put in the correct seed and the correct cords
