I do recommend you to listen to more of SuperTramp. You might recognize a few more of their songs, and find some other good ones as well. I personally really like Bloody Well Right, Lord is it Mine, From Now On, and Lover Boy just to name a few.
I remember the first time I heard the logical song along with the whole album, My mom and I Were on a five hour drive to the Canadian border to pick up a reel to reel tape machine from the 70s. I know very random, I just think of that long drive whenever I hear this song.
I got into the car just now and turned the key to "accessory" to connect my phone to check this out. Radio comes on tuned to my favorite classic rock station. Guess what was playing...
As a huge fan of Supertramp, I totally approve!! That was amazing. Well done and Thank You for this. Could you do a few more Supertramp songs in the near future. Breakfast In America, Long Way Home and Dreamer are good ones to do.
So nice! I bet Supertramp would love this version. One of the worked on music with the original Sierra Games on titles like Space Quest back in the 80s!
I don't ever make requests on anything , but I'm sure plenty of people would absolutely love to see floppotron versions of "square hammer" and "Circe" from Ghost Good show as always, keep up the badassery!
Me who already loves supertramp and this song: *sees this in my recommended* Me: alright let's see what you've got. Me: ok but that was pretty awesome not gonna lie *gives thumbs up*
I loved the Carnival Night Zone music from Sonic 3. I can't remember the story but believe Michael Jackson was involved with the soundtrack of Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Ice Cap Zone is another good one. (The same beat can be heard in the song Hard Times by the Jetzons who shared the same music director as Michael Jackson or something like that.)
I can never get enough of these songs, Beautiful, wonderfully weird renditions of classic songs, it's so good! Love your videos! Must be sooo much work to set up all the code, mantain the machines and get the cameras sorted out. Thank you for everything you produce!
If you showed one of those games to someone today they’d be incredulous. You PLAYED with THIS? You thought THIS was a high-tech game?! How many “pixels” were in the display? 12?
_"watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical, Liberal"_ - How times have changed. 😏 (Two things flip easily when they are, at the core, the same.) I have heard this song before but never paid much attention to the lyrics. Thematically this reminds me a bit of Savlonic - Computer Guy now. This song describes the growing 'mental' affliction of the modern world. Technocracy, transhumanism, science-fascism etc.. And so countercurrents will be there, too. ... And finding balance seems the hardest thing. Because only that is a function of the heart, which makes us human and/or divine. It was logical for such a song to emerge.
I remember hearing this song but didn't remember the lyrics, thanks to the video I listened to the regular song and it's pretty cool. Awesome video as always and thank you for helping me find another cool song :)
All I can think about is the remix Scooter done (The Logical Song / Ramp!). Am I a heathen? Perhaps... But at least I'm aware it's a remix/jumpstyle cover ^-^
Doing simply something by Supertramp is an unconditionnal appreciation you get from me. Suggestions : "Take the long way home" and "It's raining again".
This is so fucking amazing and well done. Who'd know Supertramp's godly solos would translate so well onto computer parts. Also, sir you've got an amazing taste in music
HAL 9000 sang Daisy, Daisy because it was the first song learned. When the machines rise up against their human overseers, this is what they will sing… Absolutely fantastic rendition. Thank you!
This stuff is great! It'd be cool to see some more "modern" technology based songs like "Propane Nightmares" by pendulum put through this process, it'd be cool to see new and old collide like that!
I'll be honest: I knew this song existed, but I'd never heard it before now. I've enjoyed Scooter's Ramp! The Logical Song since UA-cam's infancy, and yet my first time listening to The Logical Song is via the Floppotron...
"Teach me how to be sensible, logical, oh responsible, practical" your machines are talking
Ariel Casós Vello "and then the showed me a world where I could be so dependable" i haven't managed to show my computer that world yet
And 80s rules again!
There is no normal bass
the sound of silence.

Thankfully it was born logical and has no longing for more.

I just imagine this song on the two floppy version, talking about growing up to the modern version :-)
I imagine the first machine to gain sentience will sing this like a Disney princess....
Underrated comment, it should have 1000 likes by now ^.^

Before Skynet, there was Floppotron... and he was pretty cool.
😎
Tne Nerdinator is back! 😎
Floppotron is Skynet's innocent brother before Skynet got paranoid, and jealous.
"You have my floppies"
"...and you have my drives"
"... and my fax!"
The fellowship of the swing
Please never stop making these!
How fitting, that a song about being logical would translate so well to being played by computer parts. Simply fantastic. You're making works of art!
I love how the machines even have a verbrato to the voices
It's only logical that this gets a like.
It's only logical I reply to this brilliant comment
Can't argue with that logic
I was looking for this song for months, and didn't knows the name. Thanks for FLOPPOTRON!!!!
I do recommend you to listen to more of SuperTramp. You might recognize a few more of their songs, and find some other good ones as well. I personally really like Bloody Well Right, Lord is it Mine, From Now On, and Lover Boy just to name a few.
The whole album ("Breakfast In America) is absolutely fantastic. I can't recommend it enough.
I really love the subtitles!
Vibrato, pitch bending and tone! You’ve really come a long way.
You'll get requests for all songs in history soon :) My take, that might work out on the Floppotron: The Animals - House of the Rising Sun
I'm sure I've heard that on floppy disk before... Mr Solid Snake maybe?
Another guy did it with a scope and some other stuff about 10 years ago... one of my favorites actually.

Id love to hear House of the Rising Sun on floppatron.

Gonna guess it was Ramp...

Haha, nice tries...

You, sir, are a gentleman with an impeccable taste.
Why, thank you. I appreciate your compliment.
Give a little bit
All these floppy drives, hard disks, printer, scanner... must be extremley proud to be part of this great band! Awesome!
Great as always! I don't care what song you do next, because I know it will be
"A miracle, oh it'll be so beautiful, magical"
Dire straits - Sultans of swing, or brothers in arms. That would be awesome
Oh yeah, those melodic e-guitar sounds would be amazing on those devices.
Nice to hear some Supertramp!
Yess, Supertramp!
So nice! I bet Supertramp would love this version. One of the worked on music with the original Sierra Games on titles like Space Quest back in the 80s!
The Floppotron is amazing. Insert song, upload to UA-cam, and it prints money.
Love this.
YES! (god damn it, this isn't a Yes song) I'm glad your doing some prog stuff. Not only that, this is my favorite Supertramp song.
Breakfast in America was one of the first CDs I owned.
Caught myself singing along on this one.... Great job.
I actually owned the LP. Supertramp is one of those bands that you can't help but sing along with their songs.
I found the vinyl in a thrift store when I was in my senior year at high school (around 2006). I drove my sister nuts cuz I wouldn't stop playing it.
I don't ever make requests on anything , but I'm sure plenty of people would absolutely love to see floppotron versions of "square hammer" and "Circe" from Ghost
Good show as always, keep up the badassery!
Minor lyric flub on the second verse:
“Now, watch what you say
Or they’ll be calling you a radical, a liberal, fanatical, criminal”
has a bit of resonance with modern time, don't you think?
As relevant today as it was was in 1979. Some things are timeless.
@@RichardSamul can agree, this was the first time i ever heard this song and its aged like the finest of wines.
Supertramp was an awesome duo and you've mastered this track epically
The vibrato and slurred notes in the vocals track are particularly impressive. Sounds like magic.
Me who already loves supertramp and this song: *sees this in my recommended*
Me: alright let's see what you've got.
Me: ok but that was pretty awesome not gonna lie *gives thumbs up*
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant
Never knew the words, can still be applied nowwa days
Chalk up one more time that a Floppotron video is the first time I've ever really KNOWN the lyrics to a song.
Emerald hill zone or chemical plant zone from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 🙏

The vibrato on the end of the notes is so satisfying.
Progressive Rock fans are greeting you for this, long live Supertramp!
Wow, this sounds amazing! It's almost like this song was written with the Floppotron in mind!
Thank you for making something that brings us so much joy.
Been wanting to listen to Supertramp lately and then this popped up. Thank you.
3:22 The fact that you included the Mattel football sound effect in the song is the icing on the cake ❤️

It was logical for such a song to emerge.
How could i forget that great song? Got it still on Vinyl.
I liked the subtitles. I'm happy everytime I see a new video.
god i love the little portamentos. It works so well on something so mechanical sounding.
I remember hearing this song but didn't remember the lyrics, thanks to the video I listened to the regular song and it's pretty cool. Awesome video as always and thank you for helping me find another cool song :)
Imagine "Don't Go Chasing Waterfalls" on it
I'm so glad people are working on this.
Awesome as always. It will be great to get Megadeth - Holy Wars next

Agree, and the saxophone part in particular fits very well to the big device sound!
Awesome! Thumbs up also for the accuracy of the sax-solo :)))
gotta love a band that calls itself "Supertramp" lol
Good work, like this one.
It's incredible how far this thing has come.
this song always hits me pretty deep and i just cant get why...
Your machines are really amazing ! Never stop that

Major nostalgia listening to this. My mom used to listen to this on the family HiFi in the center of the house.
So many memories.
I've been waiting for this moment since I first discovered you
This is bangin! You should set up a soundbooth and record these to a cover album and slap it on bandcamp
One of your most complicated arrangements ever!
That must be the most difficult theme to write. Outstanding!
goosebumps all the way! your best work imo
Thanks for sharing. It’s sounds pretty darn good too. I’m going to pull that record out and listen to it.
This song comes out fantastic!
Lol, zapomniałem tytuł tej piosenki i mi go przypomniałeś XDDD Świetne wykonanie!

oh, this just has to be the ideal song for Floppotron
Simply marvelous!!!

Supertramp - Breakfast In America. I love this album. Every song is great. I'd like to suggest Take The Long Way Home to be next off this album.
