Also I’m really curious what their plan was for Pablo. The photos they released showed him with almost every character. And the episode was supposed to end with him talking to someone on the phone. I’m sad we won’t get to see his fine and suspicious ass for a season 3. 😫

Seeing her in the campaign in Rome made me so haiku out of the rest she got the best happy ending I know her mom mad asf too🤣.
I honestly don't even think Julien's comment came from a place of jealousy. To me, it seemed more dismissive. Like she was disregarding the very possibility that Luna could be or even want to work as anything more than Julien's staff. She didn't consider her and her wants or even respect her enough to speak up for herself in the moment so she could vocalize what she wanted. In my opinion, it was much worse than jealousy. the Chuck Bass-ification of Max was really being set up in the finale and I was ready for the name change and walking stick to return (which is what Chuck does going into season 4)
As bad as it was in season 1- they did better with season 2. The reason why people liked the OG Gossip Girl is because there was drama ,but also comedy. I do hope they find a new home ,and can continue, but also hope they learned their lesson to go back to its OG roots...
Thank u‼️no drama just politics shit like eww who watches a teen show for that tbh I think it needs new writers to have hope and then need to make them seem younger and more relatable and shut down all the parents screen time and a new gg then maybe there’s hope but until then nope lol
I hated that we didn’t get full wrap ups with Luna & Monet!!! Everything once they went to Rome just felt disjointed, loved that end credit scene!!! Also did I miss something, was there any significance to the mysterious person that helps Max up after he’s thrown out of the bar?!? Ughhh so many questions 😭😩
The new Gossip Girl moved far too slowly in plot and pace. To be quite honest none of the characters were particularly likeable either and while you don't have to have likeable characters to make a good show I did not feel that the writing was good enough to carry the show alone. I did not enjoy the aesthetics of the show either which is interesting because I get the feeling they put a reasonable amount of money into making it look good all that I just felt it looked a little depressing. The blue tinge was not quite as bad but almost like a Twilight movie haha. I enjoy the other media that Josh Safran and Stephanie Savage put out but this just wasn't it. I also had a hard time telling the male characters apart in the beginning, Aki and Obie were just not different enough at first glance to really understand a different people and their names just blended together after a while lol
Yea season 2 was great. I’m LIVID it got canceled. I think and I’m curious to hear your opinion…But I feel like these (Gen Z) “Reboots” that are basically the original stories cut and paste with (Mostly) non-white casts, get an unnecessary amount of hate, that I doubt they would receive if the main character(s) were white. In this I’m speaking specifically about Charmed, Roswell, and ESPECIALLY Queer as Folk.
this is an interesting take and I might make a full vid on it but I feel like these shows kinda doom themselves by doing all this under the guise of a reboot instead of taking all of that into an orginial show. but on the other hand i see WHY they use reboots to gain that exposure and initial nostalgia draw that just wouldn't be there if it were original content. i think if people put more trust and effort into the marketing of these original shows that "do it right" we wouldn't be here
@@imuRgency I agree. On the topic of the new Charmed they went out of their way to bash the original for not being diverse or feminist enough, yet miss identified the race of two of the three leads as Latina, when they were actually black…Something the original never would’ve done. So it just seems superficial. As someone who’s black, I appreciate representation, but I don’t think that means taking someone that had mostly white characters and making everybody black. My favorite part of Gossip Girl 2.0 WASNT the diversity, but the clear upgrade in quality. This show made this world believable while the origins required a suspension of disbelief.
@@pictureperfect3211 Clear upgrade in quality? NO. THIS show required a suspension of belief, just like Glee did. The GG blog taking on billionaires and trying to change NYC and the world? Not remotely believable. The OG show was more grounded, in comparison. And far more funny and entertaining.
@@thomashong2938 They had way more money and Star power guest starring 1. 2, wanting to humble people by exposing them doesn’t require a suspension of disbelief…that was the reason why Gossip Girl existed in the original. They wasn’t exposing people for fun, they were humbling them.
I didn't like how they handled the outting of Gosspi Girl. There were MULTIPLE powerful people looking for her identity and we never even saw them find out or what actually happened to the teacher. Having her face Zoya and Julien def didn't seem like enough for 2 seasons of build up.
Sometimes shows will take awhile to find their “formula” or “voice” but I can’t tell, I CAN EFFING TELL, that it was getting there. It wasn’t perfect at all but it was a really good attempt at a gossip girl rendition and just needed time to work out the quirks.
Not good enough. The teachers as GG was too prominent a storyline and was based on them being too dumb and too lazy to fact check what Rebecca told them to see if any of it was true. A few of the teachers were old enough to have been at the school when Blair and Serena were there and should have known for a fact that Rebecca was talking crap about how the GG blog changed student behaviour when it really didn’t. A really good attempt at a GG rendition would have had Monet front and center from the very start. Savannah Lee Smith has the talent and charisma to put out a performance that would have rivaled what Leighton Meester did in the OG series, in my humble opinion. And I say that as a big fan of LM.
The thing with me is that the teachers were STALKING, and taking pictures of there UNDERAGE students 😃 and what angered me the most is how Kate kept saying this will help discipline them, it might even create the next AOC…..like….as if bullying and stalking your underage students will do anything. And the purpose of the teachers seems so petty, like yes, the students are mean, but blame the parents who encourage the parents, who pay off the teachers, don’t the kids😅, blame the system that enables the kid’s behavior. I’m just disappointed
The finale was the best because everyone had their priorities straight... GET RID OF GOSSIP GIRL! Like that's the fire that's been missing this whole time i think
I must say I think my problem with the show is definitely the fact it's on streaming. I don't think the show which is GG as a whole should be made for streaming it's definition made for tv and to have a regular 20 episode run. I just think if they can they need to bring the show to the CW and hope they see something and pick it up. I think GG is just too much to fit into 10/13 episodes and you really need a whole network to produce an actual season. I think shows made for streaming are meant for streaming but when you reboot something although it can be successful on streaming it should be brought to networks. The show truly needs to be on a network and the storylines need to be stretched out more and not shoved into one episode. I also think the networks and services can afford to pay for this show but I will say they do not need to be paying and dressing these extras in designer just give them basic clothing that is cute from Zara. I also think when it comes to the outfits where it differs from the original gossip girl is designers were fucking throwing their designs at these mofos in the costume department for free cause it generated sales. I just think they need to bring the show to the CW because if they can release riverdale they can release this shit and bring their brand back to life because let's be real after riverdale we lost fate in them.
I'm devastateddddd that this show was cancelled. I thought this season was sooooo good much better than season one. I actually thought it was fun we knew who GG was and the teacher thing felt fresh. I assumed that maybe she would get caught and suddenly there would be a new GG that was an actual mystery. I hope the Netflix or Hulu or someone picks it up but I fear it won't be as good as it was on HBO
That aunt was more than likely Julian's real mom. I do hope they get picked up. But like you said, probably not. But yes! Zoyas li was FINE as hell. I was like, how are you going to introduce this eye candy and cancel the show? And I'm going to miss Monet and Luna so much. Such fashion inspirations
same i was also wondering if the aunt was Julian's and Zoya's mom, its a somewhat similar plot to the og, and also the last person to see her was David and what if he blackmailed or made her leave or something like that and then faked her death and lied to everyone
You're completely right about the promotion for S2 being bad cause I remember before it came out I saw no interviews and nobody was talking at all. Like the advertising for it was especially compared to S1.
I watched the original when it was airing and it was iconic. But, as a black woman it meant a lot to me to see fabulous rich black women styled correctly from hair, makeup and clothing in this reboot. The lack of representation is something that the original failed horribly to achieve..it was the early 2000s so MOST teen dramas were very white. They should've named the show "XOXO" or something a little different. The show was gonna get compared anyway, but at least try to have the audience see it in a different light. The Italy scenes were beautifully shot...I hope they release the deleted scenes online for us to see. I'm gonna miss the show..it wasn't perfect, but I enjoyed Season 2 way more than Season 1 🤗 Favorite characters for me are: Monet, Luna, Max, and Zoya. I couldn't stand Obie until the last 2 episodes...
heard that season 3 was gonna give luna the exposure she deserves but monet fades into one of julien's sidekicks was enough for me to be happy with this ending CUZ THERE WAS NO WAY IN HELL I'D SIT THROUGH MONET DISRESPECT
While I STRUGGLED with the first season I was actually engaged with the second season! Besides the whole teacher parts (seriously boring imo) I really liked what they were trying to pick up the slack they introduced us to in the previous season
It didn’t work with us knowing who gossip girl was, it just becomes creepy. Plus why would grown ass adults care so much about what entitled teenagers think about them? The whole concept was off
I read through an interview with I believe he was the showrunner (?) where he talked about what season 3 will/would look like. The thruple are end game which warms my cold dead heart. But I’m mad that Julien and Monet are supposed to be the antagonists against Luna. Esp with how Julien ended season 2 saying she was happy for Luna (liar). And especially especially how Luna’s mom treats her as a rival and how Monet encouraged her to shine. So while I’m sad the series finale left Max heartbroken, I’m elated that it left Luna thriving and unbothered.
I feel like there is just so much competition nowadays. Netflix, Peacock, Amazon Prime, Hulu, UA-cam TV, Apple TV. All releasing their own exclusive shows.
I know people are upset that Luna and Monet didn't get their "happy ending", but a lot can happen in 30mins and because those scenes were cut, I can only imagine that it would've been worse for the audience, because we won't be able to see any of it come to fruition. I am hopeful they can find someone to pick them up, because I really want to know the long lost Auntie.. Tea. *Pun intended*
Omg please please please do a review of season 1 and 2 of One of us is lying. It’s on peacock and it just got canceled. It’s a mix of Gossip girl, Pretty Little Liars and The Breakfast Club. I think you’ll love it. I hope Netflix picks it up because season 3 was going to be WILD!!!
They should’ve definitely cut the scene where they said they met new people that we didn’t see them meet. And for me Luna was undeveloped boring character to me. They were probably going to give her season 3 because she was probably going to become a real and permanent rival to Julien. Because both Monet and Audrey tried but they never really truly disliked Julien but I think Luna now does AND she’s closest to Max and he’s done with the throuple so there was going to be a divide in season 3.
aaahhhhhhhhhhh😭😭😭. okay knowing that Max and Luna were probably gonna spend a lot of time with each other in the the next season, I'M FUCKING PISSED. there were a few things keeping me engaged with this god damn show, and the number one was Max and Luna. 😭😭😭 every time they muttered words to each other was the only time i screamed and yelled with excitement. i didn't think i'd care at all if this show was canceled, but now😢...
Kate and Company chose to be GG based on Rebecca’s lie that the original blog altered student behaviour by causing them to be more respectful and obedient. There were teachers in Kate’s group who were old enough to be members of the faculty when Blair and Serena were students there and who should have known that Rebecca was lying. Kate and the others made no attempt to contact Dan Humphrey the original GG to find out his version of events. They all linked arms and dived head first into an empty pool. Kate became increasingly delusional about what the blog could do, that it could go after billionaires and change the world.
If Netflix was the old Netflix, they might have picked up the show and maybe thrown in a few ads to help the budget (like emily in paris but less obvious)
The original gossip Girl premiered in the depths of the white girl aesthetic era. Aka the 2000s. Needless to say, it was a toxic ass era. I would argue that this current era we are in is in spite of the 2000s. It's the acceptance era; and acceptance is the bane to exclusivity's existence. What made y'all think that a show like this would work in any year after a global pandemic where we watched rich people act the entirety of a whole ass?
Honestly, from season one first trailer add so much potential the scenery the camera affects the video agra fee. The fashion could’ve been a little bit better, but it’s like they could’ve build so much for these characters and it’s kind of like they dragged out situations and they cut off really good situations. Even the last episode was pretty good. My question is why wasn’t it like this the whole season.
i did watch the show religiously but i loved the og one and this one did not live up to it i’m sorry they can still fix it if they make a new season and that’s why i had hope and kept watching
It's just a curse of reboot... People are tired of them. If I want to be nostalgic and watch Gossip girl I can go watch gossip girl I don't need a different show with the same name.
I wish people understood that when they filmed the show they probably didn't know it was getting canceled. So not seeing Monet at all and not seeing Max happy was going to be a story beat in season 3. So for a season finale it would've been fine. It ended up being a series finale so yeah its a bad way to end for them
Coming from someone who watched the OG GG….I feel like this cast was done dirty. They had solid characters and stories and people just didn’t show love
Although I didn't think season 1 was all that good, I still enjoyed it for what it was and I'm actually sad that the show got cancelled. Like, I genuinely think that they finally found their footing in this season and have improved. Shit was really looking promising for season 3, but now we're left wondering what could've happened if only.... 😔
i hate hate hated this finale it was so outlandish and eerie the whole time. i hated kate but she was never money or fake driven. her whole exposed scene was so bad it felt like a dream sequence like she wasn’t even acting like herself. the whole episode was just so random it felt like a literal fever dream
I mean... my first intention was the topic of the video ofcourse but I have to point out: you Look gorgeous!! The jacket and THE HAIR *chefskiss* amazing and thank you for that Okay- byeee
Can you please do a video about the on my block spinoff freeridge? I havent finished it yet but, i feel like they couldve just kept on my block and made another season which wouldve been the final season of all of them finding the rollerworld money and what marisol did with it all while showcasing then growing up into their careers and expanding out of freeridge while also taking more time to grieve spooky and marisols deaths & them all finding out she has a twin with the new characters? The ones from the spin off? Idk if they were going to continue to use their parents in the new show
For some reason the new characters aren't doing it for me. Idk if it's the acting or what. I genuinely just felt bad for Drew the entire season. For the main 4 I can't say if they really stood out from one another like the core 4 did. Edit- I loved abuelita's and Jamal's relationship. I'm gonna need them to stop trying to make it predatory 😭
by the way they DID NOT film at the MET.... thats the ny historical society. lmaoooo i used to be a cater waiter there so it triggered me i was dyinggggg
Honestly after a while I stopped watching, I loved the diversity of characters but the first gossip girl really ate down! Plus it really helped there story that books were written prior to the show so they had a playbook.
The OG show used book 1 for it’s pilot episode. After that, it had nothing in common with CvonZ’s book series. In my opinion, Alloy Entertainment really dropped the ball with GG 2.0 They should have had CvonZ write about what happened at Constance Billard in the decade after Blair and Serena graduated and the rise of Julien and Monet and the hiring of Kate Keller.
honestly i was really routing for the reboot but after season 1 it got very boring. It's like this show has no business being 1h long with what they're giving us. I get it's aesthetically pleasing and stuff and that's why i watched it but just like euphoria season 2. Aesthetic is not enough.
Yes. Watch it for Monet, if for no other reason. She really shines in the second season. Savannah Lee Smith is the closest thing GG 2.0 has to what Leighton Meester was in the OG series.
☠️☠️☠️ now we know Tubi ain’t got the budget. They just took of BGC. I think Netflix or Fox would be a good one. I would say ABC but they like to have too much control.
As much as I disliked the show lol, it was somewhat fun to hate watch it every week and see what ridiculous shit happened. I was so sad that the Georgina scenes were bad too, I was really looking forward to her return.
Im currently watching s2 now because I decided to wait for all the eps to be on there but the reboot should've never been a weekly thing, releasing all the eps at once and making it a binge watching show wouldve helped a lot, hopefully it gets picked up by another service
Season 2 felt like Season 1 part 2; I think instead of the week to week release, a full season release would have benefitted the series more. I think the season 2 finale should have been the season 1 finale. The teachers were really flying by the seat of their pants, they were very lucky to not be caught until Kate outed herself or at the very least, fired from Constance because they weren't doing their actual jobs. I knew that GG would become global or the very least a GG account for each major city/country. Gossip Girl would be a great addition to Netflix because it would easily fit between shows like Emily in Paris and Bridgerton. Just those three series could be evenly released from one another and keep the streaming numbers up. Netflix came out that they are canceling series that have a big special effects budget who don't produce well. This would be the time to have them put their money where their mouth is because what special effects does Gossip Girl have? Season 3 could have been the mystery of who created the GG app; I think Kate's ex would have been a red herring. I think he would have said no to Aki's dad and just gone on his way. I also think the "new friends" that Zoya and Audrey mentioned plus the mysterious guy that helps Max are all in cahoots somehow. I wonder if the GG App will have actual people working for the app to confirm certain information or to act as intermediaries rather than people just posting on it left, right and center. Like, a person sending in a tip needs to get it approved to post on the main app. I think a better after credits scene would have been one of the core group's phone lying on a table and just a news article popping up that the new GG App went live. Better yet, we could have gotten an extra scene with Max and the mystery man getting it on and his phone alerting that GG App went live or it mysteriously popping up on his phone like he downloaded it.
A better after credits scene would have had Kate Keller in jail being interviewed and confronted by Dan Humphrey the original GG. And being told that Rebecca had lied to her, that the GG blog had never deterred any student behaviour and that she had ruined her life for nothing. And that being GG never brought Dan the fame and fortune that Kate wanted.
I am an original GG watcher from the very first ep back in 2007 . This is truly disappointing because they could have done so much with this reboot. Also gotten way more deep with the characters and the development of each person. They did not give the show an actual chance to live up to it's true potential for this generation because this could have been iconic. Especially with the casting being heavily diverse within race and sexuality man HBO MAX you are a cap for this move here.
Just like Georgia and Ginny, Season 2 was really good and definitely a major improvement from the first season. But like where was the promo for s2 gossip Girl? It was like nothing
i think the higher-ups at hbo max lost interest and faith in the show. most of these streaming companies are searching for the next big hit like stranger things. hbo found a lot of success right off the bat with shows like white lotus and the last of us so it seems like that’s where they’re heading. it’s sad because like you said, a lot of these shows make major improvements as time goes on but these companies prioritize those instant successes over shows with lots of potential
Unfortunately for me, Luna did not carry the season at all and I barely cared that if she was even there. Because until episode 8 every single of the scenes she had was about other characters and other characters' storylines. And the writers become so lazy with her that they wrote her out an episode cause they couldn't figure out to do with her at all. like in s1 it was really noticebale but in s2 it's so distracting. Glad Zion can go off now to do better things.

“….Hell, Tubi” literally had me cackling in the streets.
I hated that we didn’t get full wrap ups with Luna & Monet!!! Everything once they went to Rome just felt disjointed, loved that end credit scene!!! Also did I miss something, was there any significance to the mysterious person that helps Max up after he’s thrown out of the bar?!? Ughhh so many questions 😭😩
according to photos released after the fact that was also phillip
Zoys in that " IAM GOSSIP GIRL" dress was so iconic!!!!! Omg! I was so scared for her cuz I thought she would get attacked or shot!!! LOLLL
Zoya and Iconic in the same sentence??
Before I even watch, I’m glad someone is talking about this.
I’m disappointed it ended because it was starting to get really good and complex in the second half of season 2
I loved Roswell and Roswell 2.0. Loved Liz on both shows and loved Shiri Appleby and Jeanine Mason.
@@thomashong2938 They had way more money and Star power guest starring 1. 2, wanting to humble people by exposing them doesn’t require a suspension of disbelief…that was the reason why Gossip Girl existed in the original. They wasn’t exposing people for fun, they were humbling them.
Been literally WAITING for your take on the finale because I could nottttttt with all of the cliff hangers.
Well nick lost his job
The finale was the best because everyone had their priorities straight... GET RID OF GOSSIP GIRL! Like that's the fire that's been missing this whole time i think
your little giggle after saying "10s around the board" was so cute 😆
I loved the show i hate it got canceled. I loved it. REALLY GOING TO MISS KRISTEN'S GG VOICE
That aunt was more than likely Julian's real mom. I do hope they get picked up. But like you said, probably not. But yes! Zoyas li was FINE as hell. I was like, how are you going to introduce this eye candy and cancel the show? And I'm going to miss Monet and Luna so much. Such fashion inspirations
wait why do you think the aunt was Julien real mom. I figured the mom was a victim of the dad
@@iwantamaste7277 right seemed as if that evil man harmed her
@@iwantamaste7277 that will make them cousins
same i was also wondering if the aunt was Julian's and Zoya's mom, its a somewhat similar plot to the og, and also the last person to see her was David and what if he blackmailed or made her leave or something like that and then faked her death and lied to everyone
I couldn't stand Obie until the last 2 episodes...
heard that season 3 was gonna give luna the exposure she deserves but monet fades into one of julien's sidekicks was enough for me to be happy with this ending CUZ THERE WAS NO WAY IN HELL I'D SIT THROUGH MONET DISRESPECT
you're always coming thru with the videos and the consistency !!! love you rumi ❤
love you more!
While I STRUGGLED with the first season I was actually engaged with the second season! Besides the whole teacher parts (seriously boring imo) I really liked what they were trying to pick up the slack they introduced us to in the previous season
SOOO happy kate got what was coming to her🎉.
Good the reboot was horrible. I don’t how I managed finishing it. I didn’t even know S2 aired, only seen the first one 😂
It sucks worse than charmed
thomas doherty deserves SOOO MUCH his acting ❤❤
You nailed as someone who's watched GG OG many times over. Like they couldn't solidify each character in the reboot.
Most reboots of the teen dramas don’t last. Only that did last a long time was the 90210 reboot.
I’m still rewatching the 90210 reboot
If Gossip Girl gets picked up they need to recast some people and keep Monet and Max (maybe). And they need to step up in terms of fashion.
bfr
Keep Luna too
Replace Safran. Keep Monet, Luna, and Max.
It didn’t work with us knowing who gossip girl was, it just becomes creepy. Plus why would grown ass adults care so much about what entitled teenagers think about them? The whole concept was off
✅💯
I read through an interview with I believe he was the showrunner (?) where he talked about what season 3 will/would look like. The thruple are end game which warms my cold dead heart. But I’m mad that Julien and Monet are supposed to be the antagonists against Luna. Esp with how Julien ended season 2 saying she was happy for Luna (liar). And especially especially how Luna’s mom treats her as a rival and how Monet encouraged her to shine.
So while I’m sad the series finale left Max heartbroken, I’m elated that it left Luna thriving and unbothered.
I am not surprised. It was just a mess.
I feel like there is just so much competition nowadays. Netflix, Peacock, Amazon Prime, Hulu, UA-cam TV, Apple TV. All releasing their own exclusive shows.
Do you really think it’s the end
I know people are upset that Luna and Monet didn't get their "happy ending", but a lot can happen in 30mins and because those scenes were cut, I can only imagine that it would've been worse for the audience, because we won't be able to see any of it come to fruition. I am hopeful they can find someone to pick them up, because I really want to know the long lost Auntie.. Tea. *Pun intended*
Oh no you need to watch the OG Gossip girl !!!
You should really watch OG Gossip girl. It’s so good and the music is 👌
Right like it’s so iconic 😭
Omg please please please do a review of season 1 and 2 of One of us is lying. It’s on peacock and it just got canceled. It’s a mix of Gossip girl, Pretty Little Liars and The Breakfast Club. I think you’ll love it. I hope Netflix picks it up because season 3 was going to be WILD!!!
Elite on Netflix is great too
@@DigitalSorceress no it's not.
LUNA DESERVED THE WORLD IM SO SAD
Can we just talk about how annoying Audrey was. she was so mad for four episodes straight for no reason??
Ashtray got his revenge from the grave. He said "now who's the legend -NOT living?' 😆💛💛
Honestly, it was horrible. But, everyone was beautiful & cool looking at times
While I had hoped for a third season..I totally understand why it was cancelled
The show was cancelled the moment they made the teachers gossip girl. I don’t know what’s not clicking for these ppl.
Hair’s popping- as always!
I never watched the original GG but I agree the teacher being GG made it such a extremely underwhelming moment
People of color on this level of wealth and diversity within the cast and then booted. Interesting? Come on Netflix. Just like Manifest…PICK IT UP!
the ending was SOOO lackluster like???
your hair looks so good !!
i hate hate hated this finale it was so outlandish and eerie the whole time. i hated kate but she was never money or fake driven. her whole exposed scene was so bad it felt like a dream sequence like she wasn’t even acting like herself. the whole episode was just so random it felt like a literal fever dream
Ooh, bestie I love the black attire 💅🏿🖤.
had to come correct for the funeral
I mean... my first intention was the topic of the video ofcourse but I have to point out: you Look gorgeous!! The jacket and THE HAIR
*chefskiss* amazing and thank you for that
Okay- byeee
RUMI BABY! please do an episode reviewing that 90s show! I want to hear your thoughts on it.
7:22 the twist turn transition was fun to watch!
by the way they DID NOT film at the MET.... thats the ny historical society. lmaoooo i used to be a cater waiter there so it triggered me i was dyinggggg
They had too many characters , thus they could not give a proper end to a lot of them .
Dang. Should I even bother watching S2 if all my faves (Monet, Luna and Max) don’t get the treatment they deserve?
Yes. Watch it for Monet, if for no other reason. She really shines in the second season. Savannah Lee Smith is the closest thing GG 2.0 has to what Leighton Meester was in the OG series.
We knew that end was near
☠️☠️☠️ now we know Tubi ain’t got the budget. They just took of BGC. I think Netflix or Fox would be a good one. I would say ABC but they like to have too much control.
or hell even apple tv… like apple got the coin
The original gossip girl is a tough act to follow this show had its thing it’s just sad two seasons being cancelled
You need to watch the original gossip girl and do a review 😝🫶🏼
As much as I disliked the show lol, it was somewhat fun to hate watch it every week and see what ridiculous shit happened. I was so sad that the Georgina scenes were bad too, I was really looking forward to her return.
So glad it was cancelled.. It was so messy.
You haven't seen the original? You are really missing out.
In my opinion the series/season finale was the WORST episode of the series…It felt super predictable and the ending was messy for obvious reasons lol
If it gets picked up by Netflix it's gonna get cancelled again 😭
😭😭
Bring it back!! Please!! They left an open door for opportunity
Your hair looks so good
I hate how easily these networks are canceling shows.
Im currently watching s2 now because I decided to wait for all the eps to be on there but the reboot should've never been a weekly thing, releasing all the eps at once and making it a binge watching show wouldve helped a lot, hopefully it gets picked up by another service
I binge watched season 2. It made me hate Kate Keller and wish that the show would get cancelled.
As an IG gossip girl Fan I think I would have liked it more if it wasn’t a reboot just a new series. They couldn’t live up to my expectations
And that being GG never brought Dan the fame and fortune that Kate wanted.
i was not sad about it being cancelled until i saw the finale GAGGED
Honestly same
I am an original GG watcher from the very first ep back in 2007 .
Honestly despite the ratings and public opinions this show ATEEEEEE. I really loved the intricate writing between episodes and the drama is unmatched.
There may have been intricate writing between episodes, but it didn’t end up in the episodes.
i was sad n im not okay after it and like Kates demise seemed so rushed and not well done
5:22 "TEEHEEHEEHEE 👹👹👹" im DYING
As long as Robert Aguirres Secasa is a show runner ur reboot isn’t safe 😭
Riverdale and pretty little liars original sin
@@Missmagazinebura I haven’t watched Riverdale but I liked PLL Original Sin. Wondering if there will be a season 2.
