You know, the last time I played MHFU and fought Diablos was a couple of months ago but if memory serves me right: the hitbox on his charges is actually really forgiving. To the point where rolling under his head and right under his belly as he starts the charge is actually a pretty safe option. I think it works in FU. Though feel free to correct me if I'm being stupid right now.
Dunno, if that works better for you go for it, but I like the positioning I get when I go around him, specifically for LS. If you can just go under him, might be good for DB or something.
As a Diablos fan and someone who farms him often for his G-rank GS (real awesome btw), *yes,* you can indeed roll under his head _only at the beginning_ of his charge. Just try not to roll into him if you're too far away.

Also the small monsters again the freaking apceros are so aggressive and don't get me started on those cephalos speaking of which 13:41 you spoke way too soon. lol yeah, they're killin me, smalls. You can use the Tigrex armor if you want, the reason I did the Garuga one was because I wanted to gem in High Grade Earplugs. You can do that with Tigrex with the same amount, but it will give you Demonic Protection, which isn't that great. Using Garuga instead you just lose 10 defense, which is much less than the possible 25% extra damage from Demonic Protection.
He did. There are 2 videos he did about pokke farm and gathering, but if its endgame, HR gathering quests or GR will help. Specify your problem, whether monster hunt rewards or just plain gathering materials

You may know this already, but when diablos/monoblos fly out of the digging animation in later games, possibly in this one (?) They can be flashed for a knockdown that allows a further beating. (this is more viable in multiplayer than in single player)

Apceros are the WORST you won't have any beef with em but they'll slowly make their way to you to charge you, not to mention they get in the way due to their large size when you're hunting your main monster

Hey! No problem, and yeah, that's understandable. Diablos is a special case, their sign for being capturable is when they *immediately* become enraged when you hit them. The best way to see this is if you're fighting a Diablos that is currently enraged, once they stop being enraged, if the next hit you deal sends them into rage again, they're able to be captured. Since they're always being sent into rage when low hp, you'll probably never see a Diablos limp unless you play very passively and don't hit it when it's weak and not enraged anymore. It's a little strange, but I'm pretty sure it's not the only monster that does it like that. Hopefully that helps, and thanks for watching! 🙂

Dude, Im using gs and Im trying to get his horn and obviously gs cannot reach the horn. Is there any other way to break his horn other than bomb his head? (Bcs the fish to make lg bomb+ is not always available)
Try and get him to ram into walls, he'll get stuck and you can attack the head from there, getting it stuck, I think, will also deal some damage to his horns. Maybe. Either way, get him stuck and hit his head, rinse and repeat. Also GS swings high enough to hit Diablos' head in most cases, I'm pretty sure. The pillar in the middle of area 7 of the Desert is a good place to do it.
Lmao. Here I am after like 2k hours in MHFU and didn't know that sonics don't work on enraged diablos. I usually run out at this point as I tried to throw 2 every time he burrows while enraged, thinking the first just missed.

I had a problem getting the hornetaur head like, for 10 runs i got 0 hornetaur head :( I use poison bomb then bring 10 toadstol and Bomb material i carved em but still aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Just gotta keep trying, rare materials can be hard to get, and the nature of RNG complicates things. Rathalos armor is fine, you can get Attack up Large (AuL) and Autotracker which isn't bad. If you use the garuga mask with the azure rathalos armor you can get AuL and High Grade Earplugs (HGE) Then in High Rank you can get the Ceanataur S armor to get AuL and Sharpness+1 which can carry you until G rank, really.
hey, i truly need your help. In 6 stars there is this key quest that needs me to slay a diablos and a black diablos. The diablos is easy but black diablos sure demolished me. Took me 35 minutes to beat the key quest is to slay them both and i feel like i will run out of time if i take that long to kill 1 blk diablos. If you could help me it would make my day. And also just reply don't make a video on it cause i feel like it's a lot more work. And if there's already a guide that would be awesome.

Hard to say, as far as I know the best way is through mining, try high rank Volcano, and your farm, occasionally. Tryna can also get you some but it might not be very reliable.
Use the skill "Expert" which activates "Reckless Abandon" There are three stages of it, each increasing affinity by 10% Reckless Abandon+2 will put your -20% affinity at 0% But negative affinity isn't always such a big deal, and Reckless Abandon might not be the best choice.

So find armor combination that allows you to get the skill ( you can also search for Athena's Armor Set Searcher, a good tool to find armor combination) That being said, You don't need expert all that much, since -20% affinity is equal to just 5% less dps. I still don't recommend tigrex tooth, but more on the fact that blangonga LS ended up as the best raw LS in game, and Diablos is weak to Ice to begin with, which is the element of Blangonga LS before going raw.

Yeah, for the most part I'll only do them if requested, but in some cases I'll do them if I think it's important to cover more weapon types. Like for Tigrex and probably Nargacuga, since those are kind of important fights I guess.
Yeah they're super annoying, same with Cephalos. You're better off killing them first so they're not in the way/messing with you, same goes with any aggressive small monster in the area

Anything with Scatter2 at least and it'd be nice to have freeze/thunder/pierce ammo if you want to break the horns, guess you could just use normal 2 or clust or something. Probably not crag, Diablos is highly resistant to fire damage. You can't cut tails with bowguns, but just follow what I do in that video, hopefully that helps.

My personal experience with the one horned diablos: mission time 45 minutes. Fight: 20 minutes, searching for the monster: 25 minutes.

Side-stepping is good but you can't dodge against fast monsters like Kirin.

Well both the Diablos and the Apceros are the territorial herbivores of the desert so they will always attack you for intruding their space.

Hard to say, as far as I know the best way is through mining, try high rank Volcano, and your farm, occasionally. Tryna can also get you some but it might not be very reliable.

Do you know how to raise the affinity?
Use the skill "Expert" which activates "Reckless Abandon"
There are three stages of it, each increasing affinity by 10%
Reckless Abandon+2 will put your -20% affinity at 0%
But negative affinity isn't always such a big deal, and Reckless Abandon might not be the best choice.
How to activate "expert skill"? I'm new to this game so I don't know much on this.
@@josuahdelatorre7552 It's from armor skill. So find armor combination that allows you to get the skill ( you can also search for Athena's Armor Set Searcher, a good tool to find armor combination)
That being said, You don't need expert all that much, since -20% affinity is equal to just 5% less dps. I still don't recommend tigrex tooth, but more on the fact that blangonga LS ended up as the best raw LS in game, and Diablos is weak to Ice to begin with, which is the element of Blangonga LS before going raw.

Yeah they're super annoying, same with Cephalos. You're better off killing them first so they're not in the way/messing with you, same goes with any aggressive small monster in the area

If you're in low rank still, you could maybe use something like Tail String+. Anything with Scatter2 at least and it'd be nice to have freeze/thunder/pierce ammo if you want to break the horns, guess you could just use normal 2 or clust or something. Probably not crag, Diablos is highly resistant to fire damage.
You can't cut tails with bowguns, but just follow what I do in that video, hopefully that helps.
