I'm working on a FPS project and I'm having an issue with aiming down site on a pistol. I've got the FOV working, but the animation isn't working.(Bringing the site of the gun to the center of the screen) If possible, could you assist with this? You really seem to be a professional at this. I can donate for your time.
The GOATED tutorial about footstep, I'm a game design student tho I'm trying to level up my skills on unreal engine and this tutorial is actually very helpful to understand aspects that I didn't know about !
@ My brother is a beginning programmer and he and I adore your videos. Some other channels just kinda improvise their code or blueprints and end up having to start over, or just waste time thinking it up on the spot. Your stuff is always well thought out, efficient, and to the point. You really do a good job 👍
Is there a way to play a blended sound effect when you step on the blend/transition between two textures? Like dirt/grass, or dirt/snow, etc. Amazing tutorial as always, one of the best I've seen on this subject.
UPDATE: Found the issue. My dumb self had the ABP_Quinn_C Anim Class on my TPC instead of having ABP_Manny on. Didn't think about this for visually, my TPC was set to the Manny mesh, just not the correct animation class. Lesson learned lol. I noticed mine only works when the Manny character lands, the sound will play. Reason why it would not work while walking or running? Tried going back and it doesn't look like it is missing anything.
Would this work the same with water? I can see it working in shallow water where the mesh connects with the landscape, but this wouldnt work for swimming in deep water would it?
@@musicdudem6673 You wouldn't need to check for physical surface type with swimming because your character is swimming... So yes, everything you need for that is in this video. 🙂
@ so would say the “swimming” audio would be AnimNotifies tied to the movement of the swimming anim montage, and any bubble audio could be tied to playing inside the volume?

@musicdudem6673 Personally I'd probably put the bubble sounds inside a bubble blueprint, you know, with the actual bubbles.
