I'm afraid that in this case, 'a pure heart' has nothing to do with weapons or passive items. In order to have a pure heart, you must be free of greed! Or the closest you can get to that. Thankfully, the character you played as had no Golden Eggs when they entered the stage!
Hey Tyler! I first discovered your channel around 4 years ago, about the time btd6 released. My interest in your channel originally came from my interest in the bloons franchise, but I quickly grew to love your channel. I've watched most of the videos you've made since I found you and I look forward to your 11 o'clock uploads every night. Honestly it's probably half the reason I stay up that late lol. I've been here through all the major series except for battles, and my favorites are definitely the Poly Bridge series', A monster's expedition, Inscryption, and pretty much every other puzzle game series. I'm not one to leave comments normally, but I think it's high time to finally thank you for being such a genuine person and a great content creator. You're by far my favorite UA-camr, hell, I barely watch anything other than your videos now. Anyways, thanks for being you all these years, and I appreciate all the effort you've put in! Your videos mean a lot to me and I don't doubt that I'll watch you for many years to come.

the only hints you get for the secrets are what you see in the secret menu. there's no indicator on the map for them, though some of them are tied indirectly to items which are on the map

With the Vento Sacro you can evolve it. To obviously hint at how, it is a blue whip.

@@MrTVx99 he took pummarola because he thought he needed it for the secret (since the secret mentions a "pure heart" and pummarola looks like a heart)
Since you found it the secret requirements were the two unevolved birds with a character that has no golden eggs yet
Lets say you 'accidentally' have golden egg on all characters, is it possible to reset them or you're just screwed if you dont have this secret yet?

@@bang_lihat there is one character who can never get golden eggs, as a kind of ultimate final solution.
Turning egg bonuses off doesn't work, so the Sole Solution would be that one character that can never get eggs.
Does queen sigma work? She gets candy boxes instead of golden eggs so she doesn't have any golden eggs

It must be hard for tyler to be such an entertaining creator and probably took awhile to find editors that do some of the most slight yet amazing additions to the videos
I think hurry mode gives you more jackpots, last video you made on hurry mode had a bunch of jackpots too. It makes sense to give you more chest upgrades to make up for half the time.
Hurry mode changes the timer to run twice as fast. He had +60% luck the last time

@@elmok while correct the game doesn't give a max of 15 minutes on the timer. Hurry mode specifically keeps the clock limit the same 30 minutes, however sets the clock speed at 200%. Technically half the time yes, but the game isn't programmed to recognize 15 minutes on the timer as the end of a run.

Capella Magna has a very nice feature - all chests can evolve weapons, even at minute 2
So, just to clarify “pure heart” doesn’t correlate to any item. It means a character with no eggs collected. And disabling eggs DOESNT COUNT.
I dont play the game myself, so i gotta ask: what happens if you have all characters with eggs? Does that softlock your progression?

@@SilverFoxeGames after you get every unlockable item in the game you unlock Queen Sigma, a character that cannot have any golden egg, ever. If you got yourself stuck at every character having eggs, you'll have to wait to unlock her first.
@@voidgamer7122 golden eggs are items that permanently increases your characters status by a minuscule amount. You get 1 egg every time you kill a guardian, 5 eggs every time you kill the red reaper, and you can also buy them by 10k golden coins each, Tyler did this on one of the previous episodes. You only have to know that they're basically the endgame of the game, a thing you do when you don't have anything more to do.
@@SilverFoxeGames no actually, you can input a cheat code in the secrets tab to unlock them in that situation!
Fun fact: The vento sacro is yet another castlevania reference, as the attack is very similar to the crissaegrim, the sword wielded by Alucard (Dracula’s son and protagonist of castlevania symphony of the night)
The ring he picked up 13:53 saying wear…. Clock …. Is also a SOTN reference. It’s one half of a ring you had to equip in the clock tower to open it. WEAR in CLOCK tower
With vento sacro and its evolution, as long as you literally do not stop moving, its base damage continuously increases to up to +40 bonus damage. A help for this, to hurt a single enemy or stay in one place, is hold the down key while repeatedly pressing up.

So if you're wondering, pure heart just means no golden eggs.
Also, you know how most fusions are between 2 similar items? 2 birds, 2 guns. Well there are 2 whips in the game right now...

Tyler, the Vento Sacro CAN be evolved. It also gets an attack speed buff when moving.

I think the game does have some “rubber banding” as you put it, but not between runs. Since you were on Hurry Mode you were actually kind of behind the XP curve most of the game since time was ticking so fast, and I think the chests will try to catch you back up with better drops so that you don’t peter out and die in a boring way to enemies that outscaled you

he starts with them both birds but they are hidden which means they don’t count toward your slots but if you use Gemini you’ll start with 4 birds

Sick. Now that you got the unlock I can tell you that the "Pure Heart" part of the hint refers to Golden Eggs. Specifically not having any, so the full unlock conditions are: 1) the coffin is opened 2) you have both birds 3) the character has 0 golden eggs.
Also there's a couple secret characters that literally require you to look up how to unlock them.
You've opened the coffin on a previous go? And does it matter if the 2 birds have evolved? I did this but nothing happened and there's meant to be a final game boss on 30m, not the reaper.
@@goatlps I'm just repeating what the wiki says. I think it can work in one run if you open the coffin first and then get the Spicy Meatball. But I don't know. Just turning off Golden Eggs doesn't work, you have to never have collected one with that character.

Just now knowing it's not a spoiler... Pure heart is meaning that a character has 0 golden eggs, not a single one, and it would not work if you disabled the golden eggs, so you lucked out that you used a new character with 0 golden eggs at the time, the rest you got right, the birds and the spicy meatball... also it wouldn't have worked out with your first run here because of The Ender (the rainbow reaper) still active... and one last thing... the Vento Sacro does evolve... and your... HALF right... but I won't spoil from there

Vento Sacro sounds like it should mean "Holy Wind", which, given the animation, could very well be a reference to Castlevanias "Valmanway" sword, which is a holy sword that slices like the wind

Vento Sacro (the whip that character starts with) gets a damage buff based on how long you've been moving. Stopping resets its damage back to the base.
That map is cracked out on RNG I think, I had 2 legend chests then 2 afterwards was another one

Skull o maniac and pummarola start spawning cookies on ground and you have to collect 100 cookies for new character
Evolved whip will evolve again with the other whip (Centro sacro I think it’s called) and it’s really strong and cool

You can gat a character who starts with braclet if u clear the bone rush or boss rush map with only 1 weapon ( i did it with Santa water character with game breaker arcane)

Tyler way to over complicate a secret. It is called fiery balcony because it has a spicy meatball.
If you look closely you can see the windows break so that must mean something in this secret.
the character that starts with the bracelet can be found by doing something special in the boss rush zone
Pummarola is really bad tho, area or projectile speed is so much better for your build

its impressive even tho i put the vid on 1.75x speed its still like average speech speed
maybe your LIBRARY knowlege about the secrets is lacking, maybe you should take some other maps secrets and INLAID them into your brain
and with that new knowledge you should look yourself in the MIRROR and realize what you need to do but remember to take care of you and your pets, I don't know if you have two BIRDS not the one they create

If you beat the game with the slow old man chacter you unlock a really good arcana for the birds wince it makes their projectiles explode causing massive area damage

I love seeing Cosmo unlocked as they are my favourite character of all time. Crazy health regeneration and luck ftw! Also utilizes Gatti Amari far more than even Giovanna making it the most powerful in the game as major health regen allows Cosmo to tank the cat scratches and high luck causes way more scuffles to where it fills the entire screen (especially with Spellbinder+Candlabrador coupled with the Gemini Arcana).

Tri-bracelet didn't pale in comparison. It's DPS wasn't that far off. You cant use the damage stat as an indicator because that is influenced by simply how long you've had the item.
This game is dopamine in its purest form
Vento Sacro evolves with the "Bloody Tears" whip, conjoining them.
Some of the limit break options are capped
or get the Fuwalafuwaloo because it's cool too.
FYI, the new whip, which is the starting weapon of the character you are using, would attack more frequency when you move. And the longer you move consecutively, the faster this weapon would attack.

Came for double evolution, stayed for philosophical tyler describing what it is to be a flaming balcony.
For the tri-bracelet you also have to consider you only had it for like half the time you had vandeler which makes it about the same in terms of power. It's basically a question of if you want to use 2 chests for evolution or a few more levels.
But the dps won't depend on number of seconds it was up.
