Today we're at the salvage auction to check out a TON of stolen, wrecked and beat up Dodge Hellcats to see if we can buy a project or two! We also go take a quick look at a legendary Viper ACR that was wrecked on a track...
Oh and then there's the magnum..

That viper acr would be wicked but the issue is something like that finding a body panel for a viper is near impossible

What kind of magnum you got
You HAVE to do the Hellcat swap on that Magnum, and replace the front end with the latest Charger body pieces.
If it's a personal car I'd say do a full disassemble with chem dip and custom paint.
Most definitely rebuild that Magnum. 100% will love watching the video(s) and watching you enjoy that beast.
I have a Magnum and it's just a unique looking car. You just don't see cars look like that anymore. The Magnum would be the cheapest for a full body to build what you want out of it. Most of that body was pretty clean so you can focus on the fun stuff.
That Magnum would be super cool, especially if you swapped the interior and suspension, too.
You know you want to rebuilt the Viper.
It would definitely be worth it.

I love that you are becoming a mopar head. I WOULD LOVE to see you work on that viper but the demon needs a brother. Doing a hellcat magnum would be sick. Plus you don't see those around anymore. I would say restore a charger and have it match the demon. I love watching you hunt for mopars 😂🚗

I really like the red on red 4 door with those 5 spoke wheels. If you could get those wheels or that style wheel in a widebody fitment. That orange Magnum would be fun to interior swap, fabricated widebody kit, and complete Redeye drivetrain brakes and suspension swap.

Edit. Buy the viper and swap the drive train into the magnum, would be a great build series and I don't think many (if any) have done a viper swapped magnum. (Now that I'm saying that out loud I really want to do this myself.)
The custom magnum with big engine and manual would be sth fresh and cool to see on the channel

Yes on the Charger. Yes on the Magnum. It’s one thing to ‘modify’ something. Anyone with enough money can do that, but to do an engine/transmission swap into a car that was never built for them, that takes skill and determination. Forget the viper, they never seem to get views on UA-cam. Even streetspeed 717’s ACR twin turbo that had way over 1,000 horsepower wasn’t getting views, so he sold it.
I really like it when you go to the auction and examine the vehicles, talking about the damage, and what you would pay for them.

Doing a magnum is definitely a project that will bring alot of views to the channel...there's plenty of magnums on marketplace for cheap that don't need any bodywork tho😂😂

You should have a census of a hellcat/Trackhawk/TRX in different cities. I live in the Chicago area, I wonder what’s the count there versus everywhere else
I don't usually watch videos that aren't Porsches.
But I have been getting into the enjoyment of the process of bringing a car, any car back to life.
Just about had my share of Demons, Red Eyes, Hellcats, Scat Cats and stray cats for sure.
We will see where this one video goes.

More projects is always a good thing unless your me because I don't need anymore lol... looking forward to watching builds all winter. I'd guess that white one was more likely bought wrecked and stripped then sent back to auction. I had a couple magnums, love how they look but not a fan of driving them with the wide open interior, just doesn't feel right to me.

Reason why the brand new hellcat got totaled like some of others there is due to the total or estimate amount of rebuilding one. Parts itself are expensive, straightening the frame, then dropping of the drive train to install a new frame part and so on. And also depending of the state if it’s 50-75% of the value to repair the car they would just call it a total lost and not bother with it
Buy the magnum and put the V10 from the truck in it, i love station wagons, love my "M3" e91 wagon.

That Magnum looks way cool and with some upgrades to the power plant layout would make it even cooler!

1:22 My guess is they had a specific customer for those parts. Neighbor had seats and a console stolen out of a car, nothing else. Police said the thieves were only needing those hard to find parts.
I would vote for making the Magnum wagon into a wide body clone.
Id say Viper and Magnum. I think its SRT Dave has done the hellcat magnum charger already it would be interesting to see your twist on the car
I always wondered if you could bolt a Challenger or Charger front end on to a Magnum but I guess those panels would be too long to work.
You need have some kind of contest and give away on of those Hell Cats parts car, and let one of your subscribers rebuild a street rod out of the parts.
So love to watch your videos like this coming from the uk our cars are well let’s say no where near as much power houses like your mopars so wish we could afford to run these cars here 😢😢😢 fuel costs way way to much to have them as a daily driver 😢😢😢

Just know a viper ACR has been my dream car since I was 18. I’m 33 now. When I was 18 they cost 125,000 dollars, and I thought for sure someday I would save enough if I worked hard enough to buy one.
They are worth excess of 300-400k now that years have passed. I’ll never have a chance to own one because unlike most cars, they are appreciating in value. If you have the chance to buy one, I would definitely consider the investment aspect of it.
Magnum SXT was my first car, absolutely loved it, except it lacked some power. The world needs a hellcat Magnum. Make it happen plz 🙏

Always wanted to build my own magnum hellcat redeye would like to see thag build to be honest
Come to Clewiston FL salvage yard they packed it full after the hurricane for weeks I saw perfectly good Lamborghinis. Porsche’s mussel cars you name it, it went there insurance company totally everything after hurricane Ian

Poor Magnum 🙁 But it had SRT wheels. Good thing with LX/LC etc is, they are all same. 2005-2023 everything bolts on when doing swap. Only thing is some electric connector holes are different size or shape etc. But suspension etc, bolt on.

I'd like to see you get the acr or gold scat pack. That's a 2 year only color and if it's the 50th anniversary edition it's a on year only making it one of the rarest colors for the charger and challenger even more so being a wide body. As for the magnum I'd say let it go to the crusher lol.

The Magnum rebuild as they no longer make them so if you swapped the interior to hellcat dash and seats and power train it would be a nice rebuild. Just not sure how much it would sell for if you wanted to sell it after. That is something that would be custom insurance for the value if someone were to ever wreck it as it would be worth more then a regular magnum.
