Great haul, the khaki shirt fabric is called "drill" cotton drill (Drill is stout durable cotton fabric with a strong bias in the weave. It can be used unbleached, although it is more often bleached or dyed)

Would love to see challenge of shopping your own closet (cause you're gonna have to for a bit right?) and style a piece that you haven't worn in at LEAST a year, or if you can't remember the last time you wore it, or find a way to wear it that you haven't before. Sometimes you just can't buy new stuff and it's good to get inspiration to restyle your existing gems. What do you think? Thanks.

I love the color palette! And I don't know if you've tried or heard of this trick before, but when I want to do a check of whether pants will fit me, I zip and button the pants, put my hand in a fist, and wrap the waistband around my forearm from my elbow to my fist. If the waist fits well, the pants usually fit! This works best for high waisted pants for me because my forearm circumference (?) is about the same measurement as my waist :) This is for future reference, of course. Hope this helps!

My last thrift before this quarantine in Las Vegas was a cute black lace flower pattern that I wore for my interview before they closed down the strip I'm hoping I got the job at Harley Davidson dealership for either cashier and or parts and recieving.
Hi Chloe, I live in Czech republic and we have all stores closed (without groceries, pharmacy, etc.) because of Covid-19 situation. I miss thrifting, it´s kind of therapy for me, so I ordered some clothes and shoes from online thrift store instead!
We are in total lock down in New Mexico, everything closed except essentials. Wow this came like a tidal wave. We were living in Colorado in an RV because my husband works there. Only had 2 days to grab stuff and come back to our house where we are now. I grabbed stuff but to tell the truth I am wearing mostly work clothes because I am doing home repairs and such. I did grab some sewing things so am doing a little sewing. The next thing on the sewing list is a denim wide leg jeans that are half sewn.............no place to wear them but they will be cute. My last thrift shopping was in Phoenix last month and I got a great tie dye navy and beige top and a leather belt. Love both pieces but it is too cold to wear the top.

My goodwill is currently closed but they do have a 14 day return policy with tags, receipt & valid ID. Sometimes i just take everything home to wash it. I keep sanitizer with me, also i change when i come home so I'm not bringing home germs.

I have noticed with all the UA-cam videos it has definitely increased the intrest on thrifting which has pushed prices at thrift stores up. - stay save & stay healthy!

I ran into a thrift three weeks ago...looked and left. I got scared. I know they don't sanitize that well so I spent like a minute there. I have not been back since then....they all closed last week.
As a seamstress I would highly recommend you take that pink and yellow dress to a tailor, at least to have a conversation with them and see if what you want can be done, and how expensive it would be. You never know until you try
I think some vintage style dresses, especially from the 80s or 90s, were designed to be more oversized, not tight or form fitting. So I think the look you are going for, would need to be more new and modern. That dress could be really cute with a brown belt at the waist, but I agree that it didn’t do anything for your figure. The other clothes looked nice on you!
