Henrique De Almeida’s Polyrhythmic Possibilities - Snare Solo 4 over a 3:2 ostinato

This solo was originally written by Henrique De Almeida in his book Polyrhythmic Possibilities for the snare drum.
However, during the spring semester online course on polyrhythms Henrique would challenge the students to play it over a 3:2 ostinato in feet and right hand playing the swing ostinato.
It wasn’t an easy task, especially for a guy with little jazz background like me. You can see moments where my right hand goes a bit away from the swing pattern. Anyway, here it is.

The one containing the etude I’m playing - Polyrhythmic Possibilities by Henrique de Almeida - if you’re interested in such stuff. All books from the Patterns series by Gary Chaffee are amazing. And of course, Ted Reed’s Syncopation never gets old.
