I had the CA help me set the Wi-Fi password, and I didn't get bored, and I was able to have a conversation with the foreign youth next to me using a translation app, so I was able to communicate with them and never get bored! I was surprised because the flight operating hours were about the same and the airport gate was a long distance away! However, I enjoyed sightseeing in New Zealand twice!😊❤❤❤❤❤❤🌻🌻🌻
Would have liked to see more filming of the overhead bin space. I've flown SQ in PE and there's plenty of space. However the seats are too hard after five hours. I decided to fly Air NZ instead this week back. Thanks for posting this, just wished you'd spend a little more time filming bins and seats. I'm in 24B and understand everything must go overhead
Hey I’m from the US soon to visit Australia. I read that you don’t need a NZ Transit Visa if your final destination is Australia. So you just show your passport, aus visa and the flight ticket at the gate and/or security?
On the back of your 2 reviews I searched P.E. Air N.Z. Santiago, Chile to Sydney/Melbourne however they don’t fly that route which somewhat surprised me. I’ve a feeling they used to pre Pandemic but I might be wrong. In fact they have very few routes but maybe are planning more now that flying is getting back to some normality. I’ll have to use LATAM, not exactly my first choice, but there’s no other at the moment.
It’s always a toss up with me for sky couch vs premium economy. Premium economy gets better service, variety of food/drinks and amenities etc… but being able to lay flat for a solid nights sleep… priceless…
Air NZ's business classes is definitely one of the worst with the minimal privacy you'd ever get. If you want to fly in business class then won't recommend you flying with Air NZ, there are plenty airlines are better for that. Does premium economy has the same menu as economy? If it's then it's another let down, consider how much extra money you pay for.
Just flew AirNZ Business class from Singapore to NZ, and yeah it sucks. AirNZ js upgrading their Business class suites though, so we will have only this version for a couple more years, think the NYK and SF routes will have the first mew business class before 2024.
But Air New Zealand Business class is the worst amongst the airlines. It is a very weird layout, minus score for the privacy issue. Very low class design.
There is always something special about AIR NEWZEALAND flights ,rated one of the best !!! great ambient lighting and service .
I agree!
Its also the worlds safest aircraft
I love Air NZ Premium Economy! It's so comfortable, and the food is amazing.

Thanks for the video! Looks like that front row bulkhead seat is worth it for the legroom for sure!
It absolutely is!

I Like the Produtc Premium Economy.Great work
Thanks mate!
Thank you for sharing I wanted to do syd to la on air newzealand premium economy looks worth the extra
It really is! The food in itself and the extra recline + the almost 180 degrees footrest makes sleeping a lot easier!

what type of aircraft?
The flight is SFO--AKL Perhaps you are transitting AKL to MEL?
You are absolutely correct!

Agreed. Laying flat is always my first priority on long haul flights. I don’t care about the service and food as much.
mjr - I would always prefer the sky couch. The food / drink & priority boarding aren't as important to me as being able to sleep.
Just flown and premium economy and it was a complete waste of money. From the customer service in houston to the plane itself. Very dissapointed

Premium Economy serves the same food as the business class so absolutely worth the extra dollars!

@@WhakataneMaori the new setup looks really promising. I image it will take a couple of years before it pops into all the long haul routes.
Dreadful background music Air NZ is again the best airline in the world for 2023

Agreed. It’s such a strange setup.
I can hear people speaking in the Filipino language hehe
Premium economy seems value oriented. Business class initially seems wrong. Hopefully someone will try it and review it unbiased.
There are a few different reviews and to be honest, it still isn't worth spending the extra dollars!
